The devil is self-destructive, for his omnipresent Maker repays the devils's own foolishness upon his own head, and when one chooses to be anti-God and anti-Christ they place themselves under the Almighty's wrath and they curse themselves. Yes a demon-possessed person is able to repent to the Lord prior to being set free from a demon.
---Eloy on 12/2/10

Because he didn't repent or his Demons. It is already done.

Time does NOT exist.

It is given to man only. Precept for man to have a bearing and a chance.

"I AM"

There is No future. Only in appearance to mankind.

That is why the Devil and his fallen angels are comdemmed and are in the pit of the fire.
---John on 12/1/10

The Atonement of Christ is only for humans. Not for angels. The angels that rebelled are lost forever. Those saved, are saved forever.
Concerning demons, no genuine Christian can be possess by demons. We are the temple of God. That only belongs to the Lord. Can a genuine Christian be harassed? Yes, but never possessed.

\\ Nothing good about him. \\

Not true, catherine, as with just about everything you say.

Were you to take away everything good from Satan, including existence (and existence, as far as it goes, is a good thing from God), you'd have nothing left.

Jesus, is this alright for Nana? His answer, "yes, she's one of mine". And God said "you know you are going out on a limb". I said, I don't care".... I like it Nana. Have a blessed day as unto the Lord. Hallelujah.

I'll go with the last question, first. The answer is NO! Satan is 100% evil. God says, "Satan is the EVIL ONE". Nothing good about him. This is why. This question is disturbing me. Ah Jesus.

hes not going to.

What happens if the devil's ate God's people out of revenge? Chaos, this is why the world is a disaster today. Satan and his empire has changed the order of heaven.

The bible tells us everything that is going to happen and come to past, and the devil repenting is not in there,if it not in the Bible its not going to happen. the devil desided his destiny long time ago when he went against God.

"No,the devil cannot repent because he is not human.
---queen on 12/3/07"

Is God human?
Jonah 3:10: "And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way,
and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them,
and he did it not."
---Nana on 12/3/07

No,the devil cannot repent because he is not human. Jesus died and rose again for the sins of MANKIND..not angels and demons. In his service.
---queen on 12/3/07

If you will read through Scripture carefully, you will see that there is no provision made for Satan or the other fallen angels to "repent." Their destiny has already been declared, the Lake of Fire for eternity. Salvation was intended for mankind only.

Only God knows that answer for He is the only one who can see into ones heart..Remember, He said that He is a forgiving God..and if the devil comes back and repents and God sees it as genuine, He may just accept Him back and be saved..after all, God is the Almighty and He can just stamp satan out again should he again rebel..

Can the leopard change it's spots or the Ethiopian his skin?
Just as in these can't it should show us that:
Man cannot make straight what God has made crooked.
Esau cried seeking repentence and found none.
Some have just been predestined to damnation.
There was no place found for the devil and his angels.
Very scriptural.

No,...not any more than green can stop being
green and still be green. As long as there is
yea and nay.... some will, and some won't,...
some can ...and some can't...some do and, some don't.Death and life is a choice.
SATANS SPIRIT is chosen by Him and all of those that follow Him ,...good or bad,we choose. Now you tell me.

"I.S.", which means enemy, foe of stupidity, ridicule, folly...
The devil will not and cannot come to repentance.
---Bob on 11/30/07

In-a-mix, What does this scripture have to do with the question at hand?

This is referring to the Father God. He is the excepted one The Son and His millennial earthly kingdom do not cease to exist for both are eternal. The Son will continue to reign under the Father forever after the earth is rid of ALL REBELLION.
---Whisper on 11/30/07

The Bible says, With God all things are possible. God can, and will, bring Satan to repentance (1 Corinthians 15:27-28).
---InimicusStultitiae on 11/29/07

Not only is it impossible for the devil to repent so scripture comes to pass, but it can also be seen in types and shadows as pharouh's heart was hardened (like those who turn and recrucify Christ) and Paul told of a dispensation being committed to those who are made to preach unwillingly. Satan's hate is also comitted unto him.

He is guilty of the UNPARDONABLE SIN of BLASPHEMY! Which is not forgiven in this life neither in the next.
---Whisper on 11/29/07

Because he is 1000% evil. He hates God. As far as demons goes. If you are lost and you repent and get saved, then you have the authority over them. If they bother you, it does not mean that they live in you. I would be more concern if Satan didn't bother you, because if he isn't bothering you, then you are not bothering him. If you remain lost, demons can destroy your mind and or your body.
---catherine on 11/29/07

We don't know whether the devil can repent.

All we know is that the best we can say is that he WILL not.
---Jack on 11/29/07

If satan can he has'nt sence he was thrown out of heaven, when ever that was.

When one repent and receive JESUS as his savior,God gives him a new spirit{Born again},that abides in him and with him always.

When the HOLY SPIRIT comes in the deomons, would rather go into pigs, than atempt to try to stay.

It is already prophesied that the devil will spend eternity in the lake of fire. That means he will not repent. A person with a demon can repent and be released from that demon. If someone had a demon of lust and they repented of lust, that demon would have to leave. Repentance is still the best deliverance. Overcome evil with good.

Mark 5:1-43
The man of Gadarene was the victim of a power he could not resist. It compelled him to take his clothes off, cut himself, cry out and dwell among the tombs.

But he was still able to resist enough to fall at the feet of Jesus Christ and worship Him, seeking deliverance.

The man was still able to use his will.

It is by using our will that we/someone can receive a deliverance and come to Jesus Christ.
It is by faith, only asking. Joel 2:32
---Michelle on 11/28/07

It is an act of your will to receive a deliverance.

There are people that repent and repent, continue to commit the same sins again and again. Some of them are under the influence of a demon. If there are areas in someone's life not in control of the Holy Spirit and Lordship of Jesus Christ, it is possible that deliverance is needed.
---Michelle on 11/28/07

Be sober, be vigilant, because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.

He had his opportunity with God and he blew it forever.
If we don't repent of our sin before we die, it's over. There is not another opportunity.

That was one of my first questions to God when I was a new Christian.
Can the devil repent?
No, he cannot. It's over for him. God knows the beginning from the end and the devil will not and cannot repent.

As a new Christian, I was concerned about the devil going to hell, too, wondering if it was too late. It is. God has made His decisions about him and he's going to hell.
---Michelle on 11/28/07

It is not possible for the devil to repent, because he is not human. And there's no salvation for angels. In fact angels wonder very much and are amazed that humans can be saved.
It is possible for a human who has a demon to repent without being delivered from that demon. Solely because of his humanity.
