Hey, Dr. Rich, I've read Paul for over 30 years and see no reason to NOT trust him.
I read you just 30 seconds ago and see NO reason to trust you.
You leave out the important parts and then you want to add to what God has completely done.
Does your Mama trust you?

Hang on to Jesus Christ.
He is the Captain of our soul.

When the ferocity of the waves are pursuing you, Jesus Christ is our testimony of hope in every storm.

There is no substitute for your personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

You can use God's Word and through the assurance of His presence with the Holy Spirit to study eternal truths - even when it seems that everything is falling apart around you, you will find change.
Noah's ark is an example of those who have made the Most High their refuge.
If you will begin to strengthen your foundations, you will find change, comfort and safety.

Let go of all options but God.

Beware of the old temptations to cling to as an escape backward, thinking that if you retreat back to old ways and patterns that the devil will leave you alone.

God's plan is to stay aboard, plugged into God, rooted firmly and grounded in Him.

Lighten your ship up.

Let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us. Heb 12:1

God first, family second, self last.

Toss weaknesses overboard with God's help.
That includes old hurts, bitterness, painful memories and failures.
Let all of them be hurled in the sea of God's forgetfulness.

Old friends that once seemed very important in your life may be the very thing you need to part with to survive.
When lives hang in the balance, we have to dump entire loads of baggage into the sea.

Dr Rich, I misquoted you. You said that Paul can't be trusted. Does this mean you do not read the books/letters of the bible that Paul wrote? Do you believe these books are not inspired? All scripture is given by inspiration of God....2 Tim 3:16.

Thomas WELCOME. :-) you are welcome to email me. Have a wonderful weekend. I will pray for you, that you continue to desire God's ways for your life. Take care, kella

First, it is admirable that you have sought how to please the Lord in changing your ways. It is the goodness of God that leads us to repentence. Most here have given terriffic advice. Stay close to the Lord. Pray, read and allow him to lead you to those who will strengthen you. Many here can help you. Just be careful in what advice you heed.
Stay humble and don't let the babble of the arogant or foolish steal your crown.
May God bless.

Dr. Rich, Paul our Apostle to the Gentiles (Galatians 2:8) was a witness of Jesus after His resurrection (Acts 9:1-9). And Paul was personally revealed the Gospel > he says, "For I neither received it from man, nor was I taught it, but it came through the revelation of Jesus Christ." (Galatians 1:12) So, Paul got the Gospel by faith and not by sight eyewitness...a very reliable way > Jesus did say, "Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed," in John 20:29.

God is the ONLY one who can truly help you. We can give you advice, but God is the one who changes people. Start with prayer (talking to God like you would a friend), and reading the Holy Bible (God talking back to you). Hope this helps.

Dear Thomas Stay true to the humility by which you came to Christ, we all came with our heavy bag of sins and laid them right on his back.

The toughest part of that is that he didn't treat us as we deserved, by rights we should of all dropped dead and gone to Hell at the realization of how disgraceful we were. Instead our loving savior smiled on us and asks that in return we go and do likewise.
Don't forget to set others free with your grace and forgiveness.
Grace is the law. God bless you

Great!! Here's a sentence from the Bible that has helped me and others. Romans 12:21 says to overcome evil by doing good. This is an important thing to know because trying to just quit sinning can be much easier to accomplish when you realize this principle.

Welcome! Please be careful in your bible study. Trust only upon the words of Jesus given to us to read by the eyewitnesses found in the New Testament. (John 14:26) Do not trust anyone dead or alive other than Jesus Christ alone. Paul was not an eyewitness and therefore can't be trusted. God has requirements (John 14:21) so don't let anyone fool you that 'grace is all you need' because there is NO grace in the ten virgin (Matt. 25) prophecy!

The Bible says to "resist the Devil and he will flee" which is the first place you need to start. You are going to have to do the work of putting down the things that you know you should not be doing. The Lord will give you strength if you are willing to give HIM your life. You will be tempted. But, resist!!!!

Hi, Thomas...first, we need to admit to our Father, that we are sinners needing all Jesus did for us on the cross. And trust Jesus our Lord and Savior to rescue us from sin, reconcile us with God, forgive us of ALL our past sins.

And read your Bible > every command and promise is what God does with us (o: He is able to cure us of any sin problem, including the emotional stuff which drives us to sin, and make us sweet and easy in His perfect peace.

First, see what God has me understand about you, Thomas. And prayer for you to be encouraged to keep on. It's better to deal with sin problems, though it can be hard, because if we try to get away with will get worse...MUCH harder. The investment is worth it. All our lives we will have more correction needed...but with more love with God and better relating with people while we improve in how to love (the main thing). Not to guilt-trip ourselves, but love will help us (o:

Reach out to Jesus by praying and asking Him to help you clean up your life. Speak to him from your heart. "Lord I don't want to live this sinful lifestyle anylonger, I accept you as my Lord and Savior of my life, I know I am a sinner, I need your help. I repent of my sins and ask you to come into my heart and be Lord and Savior of my life. Show me your way to live life Lord. Thank you in Jesus name.
