Deb: Yes I am saying that I am not a sinner. I am not sinless, but not a sinner. I am a Child of God, one of his sheep. And yes God only hears a sinner IF they are asking for forgiveness of their sins and they become born again and convert over. Then God shall hear all of their prayers. Just as it says in John 9:31 after he becomes a worshipper of God, then God will hear his prayers.

God hears and knows all things...He is all knowing. Will He answer or hear a sinner? If He wants to, for He is God. We cant limit God.

Hi Rebecca_D, are you saying that you are not a sinner, or that He only hears your prayers asking for forgiveness?
---Deb on 3/25/08

God doesn't hear a sinner praying unless the sinner is asking for forgiveness/repenting. If a sinner is praying and asking God to help that person or this person. John 9:31 Now we know that God heareth not sinners but if any man be a worshipper of God and doeth his will, him he hearth. In other words only if the sinner is praying for repentance, God will hear him.

God hears every prayer.

We may not hear every answer if we're only listening for the response we want to hear.

1 John 5:14-15 tells us, This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us - whatever we ask - we know that we have what we asked of Him.God answers every prayer that is lifted to Him. What we have to remember is that sometimes God answers "no" or "wait."

Ask yourself what is the prayer truly for and for who to hear??? Is it from the heart. Do others benifit from this or just me. God hears and answer all prayers. Don't play games to rack up points with God.

All prayers are heard by God. Whether or not we receive, depends on our intent when we pray?

When we pray, we are to pray & serve for Gods Glory & Will to be done, and not for it to be used upon our own Lust

James 4:3 Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.

If you are in right standing with God, all of your prayers are heard and answered according to the Bible. The Bible is the best method you can have because it is the word of God and you can believe and trust it.

A person hear what they wamt to hear.
They pray without including GOD.
They ask amis. They seek other ways besides
asking HIM first. When it becomes a part of your life and you can use it to put out
the fire.Solve your problems in life.
That was HIM.It depends on what you pray
for.And all is not answerd in the same way.
If it walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck.9 times out of 10...its a duck.

Well, mima - - you said you like to pray loud. I'm sure there are people who could think your loud praying can help God to hear you (o: But I think the first thing of prayer needs to be how you and I make sure we hear God...not how do we get Him to hear us ((o: obeying how He takes care of us, all will be taken care of > "casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you." (1 Peter 5:7) More than praying for Him to take care of things, we need to OBEY how You care for us (((o:

Of course God hears our prayers (that's the answer to Mod's heading). Regarding the question, I'd say that we must trust that He always hears because He tells us that He does. However, we are not always aware of His answer, especially when He says "Not yet." or "You must wait." We are aware when the answer is "Yes" and we see the outcome immediately or very soon. God knows our needs, what is good or bad for us. We must accept that the way He answers is the best one for us.

Have you ever experienced God in time of prayer and He decides to turn His face from you or perhaps block your prayers? It is a very sore affliction. God saids, "Pray anyways, I still hear you"

It's a matter of faith.

Mat 12:39 But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign, and there shall no sign be given to it....
Have faith in the risen Lord and be contented that you are his own.

Really now GOD is all knowing. How could HE not hear your prayers? The thing is HE often answers no or wait a while and we don't like that.

Jam 4:3 Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.
1 John 3:22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.
Sometimes we ask and do not like our anwser but we always get one.
