I like "God is NOT a Republican" better, because Republicans are the ones that claim a hypocritical direct line to God. Democrats believe, too, but don't rub it in your face the way Republicans do. I am getting me one of those stickers to shame the hypocritical Republicans!!!
---John_BP on 4/6/12

I've never seen any bumper stickers that say either one. Could easily be that whoever puts them on their car doesn't even believe in God!
---Donna66 on 6/29/10

God is neither one. They would try to corrupt God. Leaders are tying to corrupt God by other means.
Even God is Not an republicrat or even a democrublican.
Politics are corrupted. There is NO such a thing as a christian politician, pres or vice - pres, judge, most lawyers, gvn'rs, mayors, most law inforc - officers, etc.

God is a conservative. He believes in freedom, not tyranny. That means he is not represented by either party. It used to be God Bless America. It should now be God Help America.....Please!! JC Watts for President in 2012. I've already given up on 2008's election.
---Greyrider on 2/28/08

He is neither. No respect for God. Using God. That's how I feel.

"God is not an American" is my personal favorite sticker. I've had it for years.
---Wayne_Shuman on 2/12/08

"Give me chapter and verse", is my favorite statment when people try and put God in a box. Christ didn't get involved in politics when He was here on earth, so why start now? Really think a bumper sticker that tries to get God to endorse a certain political party is stupid and really shows the spiritual ignorance of the person who displays such a sticker.
---wivv on 1/26/08

I do not agree with these bumper stickers, using God to promote a political party. It is very self serving and arrogent. To display such stickers shows no respect for the fullness of God and his majesty.
---Kella3336 on 1/14/08

It's inaccurate--He's not an American (having never been born, He couldn't have been born in America, and He certainly never took the oath of citizenship.) It's also incredibly arrogant of a human to presume to know the Deity's VOTING PREFERENCES, assuming He even had any. *giggles at the very idea*

If you want a political sticker, may I recommend the one that says "If God had meant us to vote, He would have given us candidates"?

God is His Word.

God is the Goodness in all things! But nothing of the earth is Perfect & All Good.

I have yet to see or hear of a politician or a complete political view that is driven by and all in compassing of Gods Word, running under the platform of The Word of God.

May be the stickers should read All that is not Godly in republicans & democrats will be burnt away!
---Shawn.M.T on 1/9/08

my response would be as jesus,s to pilate,MY KINGDOM IS NOT OF THIS WORLD.please people god is not either.some people will say or do anything if it makes a buck.

I don't agree with bumper stickers refering to God as either republican or democrat. It is very childish to reduce God to a political party. And blasphemous.
---Kella3336 on 1/9/08

I feel that it is rediculous to reduce God to anything of MAN. God is niether republican or democrat. I am not sure that man even knows the difference between the two anymore so how could you put that tag on God. One cannot lable God to be anything because He is just too big.
---jody on 1/8/08

I think anyone who has that kind of bumper sticker doesn't know God.
---Susie on 1/8/08

A bumper sticker sayimg God is a member of any particular party is impertinent and blasphemous.
---alan_of_UK on 1/8/08

I think it causes unnecessary discord among the church body, and makes for a bad witness to unbelievers. We are to be set apart from the world in our behavior, and to love one another. Besides, last time I checked God didn't play favorites.

God is the King of Kings,Lord of Lords, the Ruler/King of heaven and earth,He needs no party for He establishes the thrones on earth. He is over it all and those bumper stickers are shallow, the foolishness of man, relegating God to a lower position than He already holds.
---Darlene_1 on 1/8/08

Bumper sticker theology (dear to pop-evangelicals) is a bad thing. They do nothing but inoculate people with little bits and pieces of the Gospel, making it difficult for them to catch the real thing.
---Jack on 1/8/08

A quick check of the Bible(Gods infallible Word) does not refer to God as either a Republican or Democrat.
---Mima on 1/8/08

Paul shares, "I have become all things to all men, that I might by all means win some." (in 1 Corinthians 9:22) This includes, "to those who are without law, as without law" (see 1 Cor. 9:21). Paul had been a law guy, but in order to reach all people, he would become as ones "without law". So, I see God has us become as republicans, in order to reach them for Jesus, and as democrats in order to reach them. Our priority is to reach all for Christ.

I like the bumper stickers that say 'God is Love' or 'Jesus Saves' etc. Political ones would not be my choice if I drove a car.
