If you let go of God voice you will die.
Maybe dont read it, listen to it.
God keep you in his heart. Even I love you.
Good bye
---Frank on 6/12/08

I'm not sure how anyone can claim to have "NO" sin in their lives...that's seems awfully arrogant when Christians should be humble.
Maybe they weren't talking about the mistakes we make that we repent of and move on from. :-)
Maybe they were just meaning that they have no ongoing sin that they are cherishing and refusing to give to God. You know?
We should all strive to cut out the things we are holding onto despite God's voice speaking to our hearts "let it go"
---Todd1 on 6/12/08

Nicole, I gave you your eleventh vote for the last post below. We do indeed want unity. But we do not want unity under anyone other than Christ. Anyone else is a Usurper, a thief, not the Good Shepherd. The church has only ONE head. It is not a physical church but a spiritual temple made up of living stones. People are from the various denominations or non denomination like me. Some people however are in demons and need freeing.
---frances008 on 6/12/08

I chose my words very carefully. I am taking to you. The root of all sin has been cut. The tree is dying. Ever so slowly, ask yourself why. Let it die in you. Please stay in the tree of life. You dont know me. Learn of me. You say you are a Christians this is division. Again sorry. This is the last time.
---Frank on 6/12/08

Your welcome. Only people who TRULY care about you are willing to get you mad at them.
Please, know that we all are sinners. Your heart may be purer than mine. Only God knows.
The world wants us to diminish the concept of sin in our lives. The world hates you not us the Christians. Trust me, I know. I have gotten mad at a lot of people on this website. And I have gotten many mad at me. But, I know that everyone here on this Website only wants one thing at the end.
---Nicole on 6/12/08

Not trusting in god. Trying to find god in a man, any man! Not letting your sin go. I must do something for nothing.
Matthew 23:23 and all of 23. He, not me give you a teacher. I know who, I am. I know who he is.
Most of all, I know I know nothing. You think this is a man.
Roman 14:1 to 14:4
Harden not your hearts. True faith come from the heart of God.
Roman 14:16 to 14:23
I am, sorry.
Thank you for the Christ-like replies. Wow!
I see the I am
Again sorry

Dr. Rich, "Watch therefore: for you all know not what hour your Lord does come. But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what hour the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have allowed his house to be broken up. But you all brothers are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. Matthew 24:42,43+ I Thessalonians 5:4. Please Read- Matthew 24:44-51.
---Eloy on 6/12/08

Frank, The strongest sin today is the denial of sin. The greatest Commandment is to Love God with all your heart, soul, mind and body. Frank, U can not tell me that U love God completely. Just saying words does not cut it. Because those closest to God, recognize their smallest sins. Yet,they lose no hope because they know Jesus die for them. Jesus's death only erase Adam's sin of mankind. U have sin in you right now. Examine your conscience nightly. Loving God our best takes a life time.
---Nicole on 6/11/08

That's alright. I've witnessed people claiming to be Christian, going by the handle of Anonymous Coward, writing the most potty mouth unchristian, un-Christ-like replies I've ever read in my life.
That's why I return to CN, there's a Moderator that does monitor for Christ-like replies. Sin is sin, whether you cuss like a sailor while off of CN, hiding under "anonymous coward" or openly sin. Secret sins will find you out.
---Crystal on 6/11/08

I just want someone to tell me, if you know what sin is? For we, are all so smart, right. I mean we all know the law, right. So in the law you must sin, right. Did Christ change the law? Did he give you a new commandment? No! What is god asking of you, to believe in his son right. Now ask yourself, do I believe his son die for my sins. Ok, now ask yourself do I have any sins. If you said, yes. You have not known the father. Ask God all things, you need no man teach you. But, I am a man.
---Frank on 6/11/08

1john1-8 says if we say we have no sin we decive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
---tom2 on 4/18/08

Recently a man asked me, do you truly believe in eternal security? Yes, I replied I do, in fact, I am so secure in Christ that I'm not constantly worried about my sins as many people are. I say this because I knew he was worried about his own sins. He is a deacon in a big Baptist Church.
---Mima on 3/27/08

You have got to be kidding! As wicked as people are. Living right next door to us, never going to be locked away. Who do we have locked up anyways. The wickest, most evil, VILE, people, are walking free on our streets in America. I don't fret to much about the world. This country I do.
---catherine on 3/27/08

I am saved by grace. Does that make me perfect? No it just makes me forgiven. The immortal man is perfect and sinless, but the flesh is sinful.
---Brent on 3/27/08

No it is not possible. Read I John chap 1 and it will give you the truth. Let God be true and every man a liar. People will say anything but you believe the word of God. You won't go wrong.

These people are saying, "they do not need Jesus". Do not listen to them. Furthermore, they do not have the conviction of the Person of the Holy Spirit, so how would they know if they have sin in their life.>>>This is why it is important to stay close to God, so you can have conviction of the Holy Spirit when you sin, and ask for forgiveness and receive it.
---catherine on 3/3/08

Romans 3:23, "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." We have all sinned. We have all done things that are displeasing to God. There is no one who is innocent.
---Court7646 on 2/26/08

There was (and still is) only one human who ever walked the face of the earth sinless - Christ ...anyone who believes they are sinless (in the flesh) is foolish.

If we are walking on earth we are still in the flesh - we are not spirit beings yet.
---Rhonda on 2/23/08

Eloy I agree with your post in their entirety. "If Christ be in you, the body, the nature of man prone to its carnality, is dead because of sin, or due to the error inherent within it. But, the Spirit is life, alive within us because of righteousness. Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: Old things are passed away, all things are become new. Whosoever abides in Him sins not. Hereby we know that we dwell in him, and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit."

Eloy, Rev. 3:4 states that it is more then possible to be without sin. So if you are one of those I for one am all ears as to what you have to say. Can you answer some of my questions? Since there will be no lie in your mouth I want to know if the coming like a thief is the same event as the coming in the clouds?
---Dr._Rich on 2/22/08

With most religions it is possible to claim that one has no sin, and even that sin doesn't exist. However, belief doesn't always match reality. These people are cultists. You can try to counsel them. If they will not listen, then their blood is on their own hands.
---Jonathan_Hartley on 2/22/08

You must be kidding. This is mocking God's Blood to the hilt.
---catherine on 2/22/08

You had sin in your life before you found Calvary and were washed in the blood of Jesus. After that, you are to be without sin. Anyone who teaches that living without sin is impossible is teaching false doctrine. Adam & Eve willfully sinned against God and they were removed from Eden. The soul that sinneth shall die.

We have just learned that the evangelist who said he was perfect and had never backslidden is now telling people that my husband is a "trouble-maker" and not to trust him. I guess he didn't like it when my husband quoted scripture about someone who says they have never sinned being a fool.
---Susie on 2/22/08

It is possible for Eloy. Everyone else is going to hell.

No!!! or they would be translated already

If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us. ELOY are you saying that we does not refer to the same people all through this passage? If 2 groups who are they?

I Jn 1:4-10 And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full. This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:
But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

CHRISTIANS are SINNERS SAVED by GRACE. GOD'S GRACE. We can crucify our flesh in some areas but sin will still remain in other areas of our lives.But--God does not hold the sin against us, if we have truly repented and been born again. God knows every heart and know when we deliberately sin.We are not to knowingly sin and use occasions to sin. We are to die to our flesh daily and learn to fight temptations.
---Robyn on 2/19/08

"My little children, I write this to you that you all not sin. Though if somebody sin, a Counsellor we have by whom Father, righteous Jesus Christ, and he the appeasement being yours for sin, except not for ours only, but even for all the world." This does not say the saints are the sinners, nor is this advocating anyone to committ sin. Instead it is giving the remedy for sin, which is Christ our Salvation, and also he is the Salvation for whomsoever will turn to him to be saved from sin.

.trey, In context: "If we say that we have fellowship with him, AND WALK IN DARKNESS, WE LIE, AND DO NOT THE TRUTH." This is your liar, and not the saints whom are not able to lie or walk in darkness. And in context: "ALL" have sinned, is referring only to those foolish Jews whom lived in sin and thought that they were holier than the nonJews. Please read Psalm 14 & Psalm 53, this is not speaking about the godly, but the disobedient sinners whom forget God.
---Eloy on 2/18/08

We went to a "revival" once where the evangelist said that he was perfect and had never backslidden since he got saved. He had some memory problems while preaching. That comment just reassured us that he had some mental problems. Of course, we didn't go to anymore of his services.
---Susie on 2/18/08

Yes. In 1John 2:1-2 he said, " My little children these things I write unto that you sin not, but if you do sin....."

He said, "if". So it is not impossible to live a sinless life.

Folks can't use "I have a sin-nature" as an excuse either. Folks can't classify themselves as sinners just because they have a sin-nature or even sinful thoughts.
---Rickey on 2/18/08

1John 1:8 wasn't talking about the act of sinning, but having a "sin-nature".

Verse 9 is talking about committing the actual sin.

Romans 3:23 is not referring to & should never be used referring to a born-again believer.

It says, "have sinned". Past tense. Jesus paid for that. (2Corinthians 5:21)

What does the scripture say:

1john 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

Ro 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God,

Ge 8:21 And the LORD smelled a sweet savour, and the LORD said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man's sake, for the imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth, neither will I again smite any more every thing living, as I have done.

I think that the entire purpose for Jesus life here on earth, was to deliver us from sin. Why else was he here? I know in my own life that much sin has been dealt with and overcome. Is that not what he asks of us? I think he also wants us to know what sin is. I have dealt with everything that he has put a finger on up till this point in my life. I am not perfect, but, I try very hard to live the way he wants us to live.
---Gayla on 2/16/08

Wow this is encouraging to see that there are real men out there who do believe it is posible to stop sinning & remain in the state of Grace That is what Jesus Meant "Be perfect as your heavenly Father is perfect"FREE FROM SIN" DEO GRATIAS.
---Emcee on 2/16/08

well all I can say for sure about these people is there just may possibly be NO HUMILITY in their lives.he who would be first should be last.and second scripture tells us that no living person is or has been without sin except in my opinion they are lying to you ,but more important to themselves.
---tom2 on 2/16/08

Yes, it is possible to stop sinning. Else, the Bible is a lie. We have all sinned (past tense), but our admonition for the future is the same as that given by Jesus to the woman caught in adultery - "go and sin no more." Is it possible to STOP sinning?

Mat 19:26 With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.

Phi 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

His mission -redemptive and to be relevant of the Father's nature.
The distinction of Jesus remains that he was made to be a man at the command of the Father, but not like a robot, this the the glory/will of the logos, that like any other man he had the free will to sin, but no predisposition to sin- tempted to sin at every turn and in all ways of men yet remaining PURE.
Falling short of that glory at any point is being guilty of all of it. (James 2:10)

---Emcee on 2/16/08

Most people consider sin to be "doing bad" but it is also sin to not be doing exactly what God tells you. When I meet someone who claims not to sin I ask them if they love the Lord with ALL thier heart and their neighbor as themselves. Of coarse there is no one who can claim this so that should put an end to that claim.

NO. Everyone has sin in their life, they may not want to admit it, but they still have a carnal mind. There is no one that is perfect except Jesus Christ. So if they tell you they have no sin in their life, they are fooling themselves and trying to pull the wool over your eyes.
---Rebecca_D on 2/16/08

NO. The Bibles answers that pretty clearly. 1Jn1:8 If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.

But that doesn't mean that we should sin that more GRACE should abound. Rom6 We should live by the fruit of the spirit (Gal 5) so that we sin LESS.

There has been only one who has lived without sin and that is Jesus.
---Jew-D on 2/15/08

According to the Bible only Jesus has been without sin.
