Demons With Miracles
For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty. (Revelation 16:14) Does this mean devils can work miracles?

Then doesnt that crush your previous statement on the 3/10/08?
If it does then therefore satan is able to cause havoc and destruction in the lives of Gods children. If satan had his way we would be crushed in a heart beat, but due to grace this is not possible. In Job he actually went to the thrown room of God and argued with God telling Him Job only followed him because of the blessing He gave to him. It seems to contradict your previous statement

*The devil can only TEMPT, not PERFORM evil. PEOPLE perform evil (if they COOPERATE with satan and give in to temptation). If we would accept responsibility for our own actions instead of blaming satan or other people, evil/wrong wouldn't keep happening.*
I dont know if I understood your first blog, because if anything it sounds backwards and you just contradicted yourself in your most recent blog

Luke 15:10: "Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence
of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth."
Jesus must have a high opinion of man to do what he does and have

MY opinion/attitude is that living in this world of corruption, resentment, hatred, lies, cheating/betrayal,war,etc. IS a "trial" (I don't have a high opinion of this world, it "TRYS my patience"/happiness).
"TRIAL" does not mean "hard times", it means that you face CHALLENGE (the challenge to remain TRUE. Job faced a CHALLENGE to remain true to God.

Job did nothing to deserve an attack from satan. The Lord simply allowed it to happen so that it could be recorded in scripture so that we could see an example of a true and proper devotion to The Lord (A STEADFAST DEVOTION based on LOVE).
Do you think that ANY part of scripture was happenstance (of random occurrence)? NO, NOTHING in scripture is happenstance. All events and words are DELIBERATE (God's will).

GREG - You seem pretty knowledgable but if that is so then could you please explain the book of Job to me in relation to your blog. It says he was a rightious man. Whats his excuse why did satan go to town on him? God even boasted how good he was to Satan

Once again Greg this is another i just thought of, the bible says if you are not trialed you may be my bastard son. How does that fit with your blog. Im new to this deal and i ask for input so i may understand your point of view

The miracles of demons never last that is the way you can tell the diffirence.

They can attempt to predict the future (Acts 16:16). Theyre knowledge is not infinite. They learned it through thousands of years of experience and observation.
Demons have great strength (Mark 5:3, Acts 19:16, Rev.9:1-11).
Demons are involved in carrying out Satans evil plans.

Not "God" (good) kinds of "miracles".
Why do you concern yourself about demons?
If you have a truly Godly and righteous demeanor, the devil has no hold on a righteous man.
The devil can only TEMPT, not PERFORM evil. PEOPLE perform evil (if they COOPERATE with satan and give in to temptation). If we would accept responsibility for our own actions instead of blaming satan or other people, evil/wrong wouldn't keep happening.

If you look at the story of Moses it provides a great example. When the Lord sent him to pharaoh he was given signs that he was from God. So he took his staff and put it on the ground and it turned into a snake (that woulda been cool to see!) Then pharaohs sorcerers did the same with their staffs, only Moses staff went and ate the others!!! God rocks! But it is possible.

The devil and demons have the attributes of angel.
They are given power only at God's command.
Understand the make-up of the angel, he has power to do the Lord's will, if he's fallen the Lord will use that angel's evil heart to bring about his purpose.
In the appointed time of evil, God allows Satan to build his war machine that power will be active because God allowed it.
Jesus said to Pilate- You have no power over me except it be given you from above. God is in control.

These are the miracles the spirits of the devil work:
: Galatians 5:19-21 the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these, Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

Yes. And of such magnitude and convincing quality that they are capable of motivating and energizing the Kings of the earth and of the whole world. The mind can scarcely conjure up or fathom the scene and its vast implications for the world of mankind. 1 Tim.4:1. Read and understand scripture.

Just because somebody doesn't SAY he is doing things by the power of Jesus doesn't mean that he automatically isn't.
In one instance, the Pharisees asked Jesus what his authority was for doing what he was doing, and he asked them where John the Baptist's authority came from. Since they didn't answer, he said he wouldn't say what his authority was either.
His refusal to answer DIDN'T mean that his authority automatically came from Satan.

Miracles can come from 2 sources - God or the devil. That is why the Bible says to test the spirits to know if they are from God. If the person performing the miracle does not say that Jesus is the Christ or that Jesus came in the flesh, it IS ONLY from the devil. Test the source as well to see if the miracle brings worship to God or worship to any other than God-then you will know.

The devil can and does work miracles. The primary drawback is they are only temporary in how long a particular miracle last and the devil has a hidden agenda for the person who receives the mircle. A person must remember, it's going to be payday some day. The devil does NOT perform a miracle at no cost to the person(s) receiving the miracle(s) from him.

It's called witchcraft and divination.
Soothsaying - imitating words of knowledge
Psychic ability - false prophecies
Calling up spirits
