News said gas will be jumping to $4.00 gallon, and expect to see that before Memorial Day weekend.
Wheat is at an all time high. A loaf of bread is keeping pace with a gallon of gas.

Last year I was tested in my finances and the price of gas and food wasn't as high as it is today. This year God has poured out financial blessings upon my life. Here's my point:If you're feeling the crunch because of rising prices, it could be you are being tested, or you may not make enough for your lifestyle. Whatever the reason, "Give and it SHALL be given unto you, good measure, pressed down, shaken together and runneth over." Pray and ask God - He is Jehovah Jirah, your provider.

God said the poor will be with us always. The richer get richer and the poorer get poorer. God is not pleased with the things these fat cats ar doing to the poor. The are raising the prices of oil and other commodities when they get ready. Who suffers? You guessed it--the poor. Be we shall be at rest one day(the poor) it will end in due time. I look forward to that day when the poor shall be first. The bible tells us that.

I try to drive my car as less as possible. Food is very expensive also. Everyone is feeling the crunch. I take the bus(commute to work) when possible. This helps me save on gas. I cook casseroles and meals we can eat off of, for several days. We eat a lot of meatless dishes, also. Drink more water cut the soda, coffee and beer. Even though I am not a beer drinker. Taking small cuts backs like this saves money. It adds up in the long run. Let me add: I wash and iron my own clothes. No high cleaning bill.

remember life was not easy for jesus, but he had the father.this is life for a christian.christ told his disciples.dont worry about what men can do to you unto death, but worry about him who after death has the power to throw your soul into the lake of fire.makes worrying about gas kinda a minor thought doesn,t it?

The secret to financial security is found in Malachi 3:10 "Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, That there may be food in My house, And try Me now in this, Says the LORD of hosts, If I will not open for you the windows of heaven And pour out for you such blessing That there will not be room enough to receive it."

No the price of gas or food does not make my financial life difficult, because I won't let it. Why worry about something you can't do anything about? I refuse to let the things of this world get me down. It isn't worth the headache. God meets my needs all of them, and he sometimes gives me some of my wants. So why complain?

Tom...We drove over 22000 miles last year for the ministry, but God provided. Everything is going up in price. We live where the major grocery store offers a card that gives you 10 cents off gas if you buy over $100 worth of groceries. Their prices are so much higher than in city. Lots of gimmicks to make it look like we are saving money. Gas is cheaper in the large city where we do most of our ministry, so we fill up there. We pay less than we pay here with that 10 cents off.

I live in a place that is economically depressed, it's got Indian casinos now, but people hold those jobs like they're a family heirloom.

Phizer just closed down across the river, I forget how many hundreds of new competitors I have for ANY job.

And then yes as Tom has mentioned- Gas prices, making even a 20 minute commute to work a kick in the levis... it feels worse for interviews Thanks pres. Bush! Isn't he in the oil industry? I'm sure he's sorry for us, he's a traitor if you ask me.

I'm angry, so many people who struggle and fail, a world dying from pollution, diseases off the chart, the cost of medications are a gouge, everybody suing someone and a president who's concerned about other countries!!!

With the cost of the wars in both Afghanistan and Iraq this country could have EASILY been secured so another 9/11 never happened again, instead we have a "war on terror" which killed more Americans than 9/11 and our enemies are promising another sucker punch.

Well, it certainly is not only you. These days I am really listening close to God on financial matters.

I've never had lots of money and lots of material things, so I'm used to living on pennies a day. But it is getting much harder these days. As a matter of fact, the prices are getting outrageous.

Nope it's not just you Tom, Im sitting on in empty tank right now because I can't afford to pay for gas or anything else for that matter.
