Jesus was arrested and he was the Son of God. He was also crucified as a criminal and promised a robber that he would be in paradise with him. The law made nothing perfect and I would imagine that when Jesus comes to perfect the law that they would most likely be rebellious. Its the nature of men to protest what is right and follow that which is wrong and it has been this way for centuries. The law is of the flesh and so are the laws that are created today. They are for man in his sinful life. 1 Cor. 15:45 states that the first Adam was of the earth and desired earthly things, the second was a life giving spirt and desired heavenly things. Paul saw prison as spiritual realm.

If you were arrested for being a Christian would there be enough evidence to convict you? There wouldn't need to be evidence because I would tell them that I was a Christian. I'm not ashamed of being a Christian. I am not afraid to die for Jesus as He died for me. I will die bravely knowing with confidence where I stand with God.

Then again, if someone didn't like you because you were a Christian, they would conspire against you, telling lies to convict you of a crime you did not commit.

But don't worry, God knows their hearts.

Robyn...I disagree. Christians have the ability to fight sin. They do not have to sin daily. As a sold-out, born again Christian, we should be walking daily with the Lord and not giving in to every temptation that comes our way. We can live a righteous life as Christ is our righteousness and we don't have to live like the world.

Great question. My answer would be no for all concerned. I don't and have not seen a truly righteous and godly person stand for what is right and pleasing to God in all things. It is practically impossible. We fall down constantly, this is why we need God's mercy and grace. This is why we need to confess to God and ask forgiveness constantly for our sins. Repentance is very important also.

I should know better than anyone on here!

Why? Are you more favored than others?
---SusieB on 7/13/08

That is a heavy question dealing with do people see Christ in us. Most times when you get arrested for a crime, you want there either to not be enough evidence, or the evidence point to someone/something else. If I were arrested for being a Christian, I hope ALL the evidence would point to me. Then that would show that I truly do know Christ, and Christ truly lives in me.

Man if I was arrested for being a Christian for loving my Christ...I HOPE they would find enough evidence to convict me. I want all to see my love for him.

YES!!! My husband and I both would be witnessing to them as they took us away.

the only real evidence that the world can see and understand is a changed life, and a public announcement of belief in jesus christ.if your still around after the anti christ shows up you will get that chance.

I love this question. My answer is yes. Since "Christ is my life" (colossians) and since "in Him I live and move and have my being" I can't contain myself when I am around people. First, the Joy Unspeakable that Peter talks about in First Peter takes root in us and the Holy Spirit becomes a river of living water flowing through us, that I've had strangers over the internet say they can tell how much I love the Lord by the way it comes across in my emails. By the way, my ex-boyfriend called me a Jesus Freek the other day and I laughed and said, "thank you."

Once a person was witnessing on a vacant lot in a very busy business district. A worker came and ran the person off the lot, saying this is private property and my boss does not want you here. This was many years ago, the lot remains vacant to this very day. Those are the facts maam just the facts. You can draw your own conclusions.

It would only go to trial if you plead not guilty.
