Those who are concerned [more] about the WILL/desires of God and have the "fruit of LIGHT" because their spirit is consistent with God's spirit have the present/inner heaven...

Romans 8:16
"the Spirit himself bearing witness WITH OUR SPIRIT".

Ephesians 5:8
"walk as children of light".

There are two 3 word definitions of what God is...

"God is LOVE" (1 John 4:8).
"God is LIGHT" (1 John 1:5).

Know them well and have the "fruit of light".

Do not take the kingdom by force with procedures and rituals/deeds (Matthew 11:12), but enter "by the door" (John 10:1) with "faith for faith" (Romans 1:17).

Job 28:28~They'll understand by the departure from the evil within themselves: That we're able to continuously overcome for Christ's sake through being Sealed unto the indwelling Peace of the Comforter under the Law of the Spirit of Life by 'Faith'.

Where we're kept in remembrance, that the Lord didn't come to bring Peace to this world but a Sword(God's Word) dividing as under of soul & spirit, and joints & marrow, as it discerns the thoughts & intents of the heart: through which Righteousness is imputed unto us by these Justifying Works of 'Faith' which like for the Little Native Indian Boy are the discerned concerns of what's being divided inside of us: Unlike Eccl.1.

Thanks for your inquiries & God Bless
---Shawn_M.T. on 3/30/09

Shawn~ No, I don't know the reason, I guess it was something of interest to me at the time. But I do see where you and I are of the same mindframe for you wrote:

"We're now adopted under the Law of the Spirit of Life in Christ: where there's no condemnation unto us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit by faith in Christ..."

Wish more people understood this. Thanks for the response and God bless!

---Anne on 3/27/09

Anne, Do you happen to know why your curiosity was peak to the point that you wanted to see my point of view on these questions?

Thanks & God Bless
---Shawn_M.T. on 3/27/09

Shawn MT~ Sorry I asked so much at once...just wanted to see what your views were. Thanks again and God bless.
---Anne on 3/26/09

It's divinely ironic that you ask this question, regarding imputed righteousness and imputed sin!

It's stated in Rom.5:13 "until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law"....this is why by Faith in Christ we're Freed from underneath the condemnation of a SchoolMaster of the law of sin & death where sin is imputed and forgiveness unto salvation is temporarily.

We're now adopted under the Law of the Spirit of Life in Christ: Where there's no condemnation unto us, who walk not after the flesh but after the Spirit by Faith in Christ and Righteousness is imputed unto us by the Justifying Works of Faith through the indwelling Spirit's convicting of our heart. James 2:22-24.
---Shawn_M.T. on 3/26/09

Anne, That's unfortunate but I pray your pursuits are only temporarily foiled.

God brought me into the Wisdom of His Word outlined in scriptures, without the use of scriptures: I came to 'Faith' like the Little Native Indian Boy.

Now that Faith has come, the indwelling of the Lord's Spirit keeps me in remembrance of the Truth in all things of the Lord, enabling me to Discern God's Grace & Strength that may lies in any religion.

Hindus Wisdom has a saying that mirrors Abraham's & my spiritual walk unto Faith: "The man that sees God in all things, has no need for scripture", for after all, God is the Word. John 1:1
---Shawn_M.T. on 3/26/09

ShawnMT~ Thanks for sharing, and I agree. It is so comforting to know that God sees deep into our hearts and minds (those who have heard of Jesus, and those who haven't) and knows us through and through and will judge each fairly. (I went to Bible college some time back, and I believed how you just explained and they did not...which was a big reason for wanting to not pursue that avenue further.)

What are your thoughts about the 'imputed sin'/'imputed righteousness.' Also I was crious if you follow Calvinism, Arminiamism, or what teachings guide you as you seek scripture. Thank you and God bless.
---Anne on 3/24/09

You're Correct, Rom.2:13-16 is speaking of a SchoolMaster(a law to bring us into being Justified by Faith) and how, everyone who has not the Jewish Messianic Law but do by nature the things contained in the law, are a law unto themselves: which will bring them into Justifying Faith.

Anne, Christ said to spread the 'Good News' and the 'Good News' is the Truth of the Gospel of Christ Jesus. A Parable is just a story and if that story is the Truth, despite however the Truth is spoken, it's still the Truth.

Christ said I am the Truth.....and if anyone has heard the Truth, like the Little Native Indian Boy did from his Grandfather, then they have heard of Christ Jesus!

Good Day to You Sister & God Bless
---Shawn_M.T. on 3/23/09

ShawnMT~ Excellent analogy, and inspiring...thanks so much for sharing!

Shawn, what are your thoughts about such people as you spoke of. Like let's take the Native Indian people you spoke of...they never heard of Jesus, yet they, because of a good conscience, knew the difference between righteous ways and evil ways as you said. Please take a look at Romans 2:13-16. I know God is a fair judge of you believe these verses speak of such men who may never have heard of Jesus, yet follow in ways of righteousness by following their conscience, and that God will have mercy on their souls. Thank you Shawn for listening and I look forward to your response.
---Anne on 3/20/09

Great poem!

I heard a similar story base on a little native Indian boy who has a dream about two wolves. One Menacingly Dark and the other Lovingly Light. He tells his grandfather of this dream which scared the boy because he felt that the dark wolf was going to harm him & the light wolf. His grandfather informed the boy that the wolves were the two natures that we all have within us that we can't flee or runaway from. This causes the boy to be even more scared but the grandfather comforts the little boy by telling him that although THEY'LL BOTH ALWAYS be with us, it'll appear that the dark wolf has fled from us if we resist feeding him and submit to feeding the light wolf: enabling us to always overcome the darkness.
---Shawn_M.T. on 3/19/09

Shawn thanks for sharing.

I read this little poem the other day and thought it was rather true and right to the point:

Two natures beat within my breast
The one is cursed, the other is blessed.
The one I love, the other I hate,
The one I feed will dominate!

Similarly Paul wrote in Gal. 6:8 "For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life."

Thanks, and good day to you too and God bless.
---Anne on 3/18/09

Knowing how it's rightly your passion to warn everyone to flee sin. I thought you(if anyone) would hear & appreciate what I'm sharing & revealing to Believers about how through 'Faith' we're able to sustain and overcome the temptations that lead to sin.

You're correct, those verses of Paul & Timothy are warnings to flee sin, where as the whole book of James is about Faith without Works being dead: to reveal the Truth of 'HOW' by the Works of Faith in Christ enable of us to 'Resist' the devil as we submit ourselves to God: sustaining us in overcoming the source of all temptation leading to the evils of sin.

Good Day to You Sister & God Bless
---Shawn_M.T. on 3/17/09

Shawn MT~ Yes, you are correct that we must resist the devil. Also remember that the Bible does teach to flee sin as Paul and Timothy taught in the following verses:

Flee idolatry- I Cor. 10:14

Flee youthful lusts- II Tim. 2:22

Flee immorality- I Cor. 6:18

God bless you Shawn!
---Anne on 3/16/09

To Whosoever has an ear to hear?

God resisteth the proud, so never be so 'Proud' as to think that any concern that someone may have regarding the Kingdom of Heaven is to trivial to be compassionately & patiently addressed.

Submit yourself to the charity of God's Word, to edify the Brotherhood, for God draws close to us as we draw close to Him through humbly submitting in all things to His Will.

What it take to make it to Heaven is to stay on the straight & narrow, by not trying to 'FLEE' the evils of sin but instead through RESISTING the devil, and he will FLEE from you. James 4:7
---Shawn_M.T. on 3/16/09

No one "makes" it into Heaven. If God is so inclined, He allows one into Heaven, because He's God and it's His Heaven... and His pleasure.

Seeing the behavior/attitudes of self-professed "christians", 144,000 seems realistic (some people compare the 8 of global population in Noah's time).

Original "Jesus devotion" was called "THE WAY" (Acts 24:22 and 11:26).

Most "christians" will not believe the "depths of God" (1 Corin. 2:10) because they rather play the "God game" and be a "book person" having a PERSONALITY of "spiritual fruits" (fruits of the spirit) to boast of (PRIDE, VAIN ego/vanity).

The "FRUIT of LIGHT" (Ephesians 5:8, God is light) characterizes those who will receive eternal life.

BLOOD, SWEAT, AND TEARS. If you are one of the few who ACTUALLY makes it to heaven. Well, you are the most blessed.
---catherine on 3/16/09

Those who continue living obediently for God and following the truths of the Bible, and the leading of the Holy Spirit are those who make it to heaven. Seek God's word diligently since we are living in the days of wicked deceptions, and licentiousness abounds.

Those who SAY they have fellowship with God, but walk in darkness/sin, lie and do not practice the truth. (I Jn. 1:6) Flee all sin, immorality, lusts, greed, idolatry etc for the Bible teaches in Gal. 5:19-21 that those who partake in the works of the flesh: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, fighting, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambition, heresies, drunkenness, and the like do not inherit heaven.

Stay on the straight and narrow road.

Be ye filled brother, God Bless You.
Remember not the signs and wonders!
He is has more than enough for all.

Joh 6:26 Jesus answered them and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Ye seek me, not because ye saw the miracles, but because ye did eat of the loaves, and were filled. Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed. Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.

O ye of little faith, why reason ye among yourselves, because ye have brought no bread? Do ye not yet understand, neither remember the five loaves of the five thousand, and how many baskets ye took up? Neither the seven loaves of the four thousand, and how many baskets ye took up? How is it that ye do not understand that I spake it not to you concerning bread, that ye should beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees?

Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things?
It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.

I was a dreadful sinner. One morning I accepted Jesus as my Savior by answering an altar call message of salvation on TBN. I did this because my friends had been praying for me and the Holy Spirit prepared my heart, and God drawed me to His Son Jesus. The seal of the Holy Spirit in my heart was the evidence that I believed and received the message in my heart. The reason I believe in eternal security and eternal salvation is my faith and understanding of God's grace. The moment I first believed, the fruits of the Holy Spirit started working in my life. My hope, despair, and feelings of hopelessness were replaced with love, joy, peace, etc.. and the assurance that I was a child of God because Jesus made me one.

For the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which went out early in the morning to hire labourers into his vineyard. And said unto them, Go ye also into the vineyard, and whatsoever is right I will give you. And they went their way.

StevenG, you are half correct. The elect are those chosen by God from the foundations of the world. Many have already come forward already and are save, and many more will be coming today, tomorrow and until the Lord has received them all. For many are not save yet, but will be one day, when God comes to them in power through the Spirit and they will hear the gospel, they will believe by faith, they will repent and be forgiven, and they will be made righteous, they will be justified, they will be sanctified and they will be glorified. "Just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, having predestined us to adoption to the good pleasure of His will."

For those of you who claim that people are in heaven are calling Jesus a liar for he said that no one has yet ascended into heaven.

For those who claim the two witnesses to be certain people is adding to the words of Revelation. All it says is "two witnesses/prophets." Nothing more.

How does one get into heaven? Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength, and to love your neighbor. Unfortunately, most people, including most Christians, during these end times do not know HOW to love. A great delusiion will encompass the world which will fool everyone including the elect, if that were possible. (the elect are not Christians)

1st cliff, you need to read Hebrews 11:5....By faith Enoch was taken away so that he did not see death, and was not found, because God had taken him, for before he was taken he had this testimony, that he pleased God. Where did Jesus ascend to? The theif went with Him. There is only one paradise to God, and that's His kingdom. As for Elijah, Elisha watched him get taken up. Elijah and Enoch never tasted death.

Addie/Mima, The bible does not say Enoch and Elijah never died! It says God "took"him. When you read in the news that someone "TOOK" his own life, what does it mean?Still alive? No! No one has ascended to heaven except Jesus.(Jn.3.113.)Jesus said he was going "TO" prepare a place, obviously not prepared beforehand! The thief on the cross was promised "paradise"(Eden restored) not heaven! Paradise is a Persian word meaning park or garden!

In the old testemant there were a couple that did go to heaven immediatly, Enoch Gen 5:24 and with Elijah in 2Kings2:1 2:11,Elijah was taken into heaven. As far as our time Jesus, when He came told of the place that he prepared for us in the Gospels, all that is spoken in Reval. about this place, we know the requirments to make it there are to accept Him. These examples elijah and Enoch never seen death God just took them. the sinner on the cross that believed, He obviously went to heaven because of Jesus' reply. So i hope that helped.

The bible also says to ask God to search your heart to see if anything be hidden, to see if any wicked way in us. Psalms 139:23-24. So you see Eloy, if a person has hidden or secret sins, that they have forgotten about, they need to ask God to search their heart to bring out those (if any) hidden things so we can repent. There is no action that an individual can take that will qualify you for heaven.

Salvation is by invitation only and it is strictly Gods choice and God made that choice prior to the creation of the world before you were ever born. God has complete foreknowledge of who will accept His gift of grace and who would reject it and it is only offered to his Preordained Elect.

You can only be adopted into the family of God and you cant not initiate the adoption process you self, God the father has to chose you. You become a co-sibling with Christ Jesus and he has the rights of the first born, but as a member of Gods family you have all the other royal right of family membership.

There is only ONE way, and that's through Christ. A person MUST accept Christ as a personal Savior. Only Christ was able to meet the requirments to activate life in heaven with God. This method needed to activate this relationship with God was required as a result of Adam & Eve breaking the rules. To activate and re-establish this proper relationship was made possible by Christ who met all the requirements. It MUST be done on the individual bases.

They that are in Christ, and live according to the Spirit, are free from condemnation
There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. Romans 8:1-2 (KJV)

As I said to a similar question shortly below this blog, those to whom Christ is merciful make it to heaven.

Those that are born again in the Lord and have endured til the end with Christ will go to heaven. Those that died without the Lord or have sin in their heart upon death, will end up in hell. What does it take? Being born again by the blood of the Lamb. Enduring til the end with Christ. Making sure that there is nothing between you and the Lord, hidden or unhidden. Just because one gets saved umteen years ago, if they have any unrepented sins in their heart, or have a grudge (an ought) against someone, they won't make it to heaven.
