Rebecca: I am so sorry that your doctor has not been able to resolve your kidney stone issue. Remember what Paul said in 2 Corinthians about God's grace being sufficient.

I would appreciate prayer as I heal from sinus surgery almost two weeks ago. I am experiencing horrible earaches as I heal. Doc says it is normal. I am just praying for strength to get through this phase of the healing.

I am still fighting kidney stones. My Urologist had me do a 24 hour urine collection and send it to him, so he can know if how and why I make so many stones. I had enough stones to fill my driveway. Hee, hee. Please remember in prayer the families of those two Fireman that died in the line of duty in WV. I know one of them fairly well, he was a good man. I don't know if their heart was right with God or not, but he (Johnny) always had respect for those who were Christians. My husband a fellow Police Officer/fireman went to the Wake and packed with people from different states. It was touching to see that many people. That is truly called Brotherhood. Too bad Christians can't do the same with fellow Christians.

tom2....I live in Arizona and have seen many wild animals, including the biggest mountain lion I've ever seen, even in a zoo. It walked out in front of us as we were driving down the highway and it was about the size of a large German Shepherd dog, only heavier. Until then I didn't realize we grew them that big around here. Since we are on the border of Mexico, jaguars are coming up from South and Central America. This part of the country is extremely ecologically concerned and, therefore, they release them back into the wild. There are millions of uninhabited acres here. If you put all the wild animals in the zoos, the land would change drastically as the ecological system would be disrupted.

I appreciate everyone's prayers. I am struggling with post-op fever. It is low-grade, not high, just enough to make me realize I don't feel as well as I would like. God is good. He stays with me throughout the day and night.

God bless.

I am praising the Lord for His awesome blessings to me this week. I had surgery, and He made it such a blessed time, I barely knew I was operated on.

I would appreciate prayer for my son, Sean. He is struggling a lot and needs help in a lot of different ways.

Dudley: I am so sorry I missed the comet. My family did get the opportunity to see Halley's comet in 1986.

I am praising the Lord for a successful surgery today. God was in every thing that occurred. Please pray as I recuperate.

Hugs to all,

WASHINGTON An odd, greenish backward-flying comet is zipping by Earth this month, as it takes its only trip toward the sun from the farthest edges of the solar system. The comet is called Lulin, and there's a chance it can be seen with the naked eye far from city lights, astronomers say. But you'll most likely need a telescope, or at least binoculars, to spot it.

The best opportunity is just before dawn one-third of the way up the southern sky. It should be near Saturn and two bright stars, Spica and Regula.

On Monday at 10:43 p.m. EST, it will be 38 million miles from Earth, the closest it will ever get, according to Donald Yeomans, manager of NASA's Near Earth Object program.

Today is a day where people express love to one another. I just want to remind everyone of the greatest love there is: God's love. He loves us so much He sent His Son, Jesus, to die for us, so that we can have an eternal relationship with Him. The thing about His love is that it is eternal, and does not fail.

Happy Valentines Day to everyone. I love you, but more importantly, God loves you.

Brother Tommy, my prayers are for you and your family, that God opens up an opportunity for you that will give you time for your ministry. I feel like I know you already brother, peace and blessings

Tommy: I will gladly pray for you, as you await God's job. He has something for you to do to serve Him, and He will show you IN HIS TIME. He did that for me when I was laid off years ago.

God bless.
---Trish9863 on 2/13/09

I would covet everyone's prayers, as I was laid off from my job on the 3rd, and am unable to find work that would be compatible with my ministry objectives. I have told people around me for years that I believed that God would provide for those who belong to Him and now it is my time to prove that I do actually believe that.

God teaches: He is teaching about WAITING! Also, He is teaching about staying in praise and worship in all circumstances. God is teaching calmness in storms. God is saying today, "I care about my people".

The only thing that is up in February is Just A Whole Lot Of Jesus! I see more opportunity than ever to share the true LOVE of Christ on this blog and to those around me. In the desparation of life< Jesus is always there to touch, heal, rejoice and cry with each person who talks to Him. So let February be the "Month of Conversation with Jesus" month.
Get to talking people, He is listening and He is answering your prayers NOW!

You're welcome Trish.

These Wahat's up blogs are a good opportunity to share our concerns, joys, difficulties and needs, and it's good that you start up a new one each month, it avoids the original getting too long.

I am to be a grandfather in 2 weeks and 1 day (if on time!) In our joy, we are also sad that my dear Brenda did not live to see her first grandchild (or indeed the first wedding) Prayers please

Thanks for starting a new What's Up blog, Alan. I would appreciate prayers for my sister-in-law this coming week. A year ago, her husband, my brother died, and then this week she learned that brother's best friend's wife died of cancer over the Christmas holidays. She has tried reaching out to the friend, because his relationship with God is unknown. Friend is not taking phone calls or replying to e-mails. So, in addition to praying for Sis-in-law, please pray for the friend, Don.
