Trish I know its hard to go through surgery and have something done which causes more pain for a while. I didn't forget you I was praying the day of your surgery and since. As for people seeing God's move in Nephew's life everyone saw the way God has moved. His first wife died several years ago and I began to pray he would marry a Christian woman and God answered that wonderfully. She went to church all the time and after their marriage he went with her. I've told my family what I prayed for,so they know he was in the hand of God and saved. What an awesome God we have.

Some things are so hard to understand.I just pray God comforts you all.One thing to be glad of is he didn't suffer a lot like someone with say cancer.

Darlene, I hope your family is able to see God's plan in this man's life. It is painful, I know.

I am praising the Lord for His strength to get through my surgery last month.

---Trish9863 on 3/23/09

Alan thank you so very much, that means so much to me. I know it is only with prayer and the Lord we can face hurtful things in Life. God Bless

Our family was shaken by early morning news, my husbands beloved Nephew had a massive heart attack and died. I have known him since birth, and grew up in their home, spending nights with his sister who has been a friend since childhood. We are heartbroken. He was about 62 years old and lived in the country, by the time the ambulance got there it was too late in spite of CPR the family used on him. He left behind a wife, grown children,a daughter, two sons, and a third son who is about 18 and still in High School. Please pray for everyone who loved him, especially his family, mine, and all who were close. This comes after my close friend's funeral a little over three weeks ago,my sons close friend's this last week, and now a relative.

Praise the Lord, I learned that my granddaughter will be getting a little brother in August. We knew her mommy was expecting, but my daughter called me yesterday to say they are expecting a boy.

Sue: When a person has 12 surgeries within 2 years like I have, well no one can get used to the pain after surgery. I might be facing another surgery sometime soon, with my kidney being full of stones. If I'd keep all the kidney stones I produce, I could fill my flowerbed with stones. Hee hee. I've been having problems out of my left breast it is full of cysts. Which hurt really, really bad at times. I was told to put a heating pad on it or bind it. I do both but after 10 minutes or so, it throbs worse than before. I had to have a hysterectomy because cysts kept forming then busting on my ovaries. I hate taking medicine but God gave Doctor's the knowledge of what medicine may help.
---Rebecca_D on 3/18/09

Rebecca, I'm happy you've chosen God. As for me, I'm such a big baby when it comes to pain, so I admire you.
---sue on 3/18/09

Sue: I get tired of taking medicine for pain. So I gave myself a choice, I can either soak in my sorrows saying poor pitiful me, or I can stand on God's word believing in him and chose to be joyful and happy. I chose to stand on God's word. I am already on medicine for my hysterectomy (Premarin) and I take medicine for my nerves, my bowls, and to help me sleep. I am glad that there is medicine to help whatever our need may be. But I just get tired of hurting, get tired of taking medications. anyone else feel this way?
---Rebecca_D on 3/17/09

Rebbecca D, I admire you for toughing out the pain instead of taking pills. Thats very brave. Many years ago our pastor had stones and was sent to a VA Hospital in another State where they used a machine which while he was immersed in water broke up the kidney stones into pieces small enough to pass. No surgery done and it worked. It was a new treatment then but should be more widely used now. I will be praying for you. God Bless

just reading about the aig bonuses. And how upset Obama is about them.Is he that nieve?Big business a money making affair.and many upper management position have contractural bonuses, not necassarily tied into profits. But in any event,GREED rules today, and I gor one would not be surprised at anything that is done with bailout money.
---tom2 on 3/16/09

Rebbecca, Two weeks! That is awesome! But I was wondering, if you're in pain, why stop taking the medication? God bless you, sue

Congratulations Alan! What exciting news to hear! Her name is so beautiful too. God bless you and your family.
---Anne on 3/15/09

I have good news and I have bad news. I will start with the bad news cause the good news will override the bad news. Bad news is I still have multiple kidney stones in my kidney. Don't know why or how or if the Urologist will do anything about that. Good news is I haven't taken any pain pills for a little over 2 weeks. :) I sill hurt and at times could use something to ease the pain, but I drink water and take the pain. This is good news to me, I might have another surgery in the near, near future, but until then, I am doing just fine. Help from God is available...if one asks for his help. And spring is around the corner, I already got my garden loosened to start plowing and get ready to plant.

Sue congratulations, how wonderful for your family. It's great to be a grandparent. Psalms 127:3 & 5 Lo children are a heritage of the Lord, and the fruit of the womb is his reward. Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them,--. This is true of grandchildren and even greagrandchildren,we have two of each. They all are a blessing. My husband jokes he didn't know how good it is to have grandchildren,if he had he would have had them first. Blessings

Home now,I just want to give God much Praise for being with Mom and bringing her through that heartattack. Please continue to pray for her,she gets tired easily which I don't believe is a result of the attack,it was happening before she had it,also pray she will not live in fear of another attack. I also wish to Praise God for giving me His stength for the tasks I had to do to take care of Mom,some were even things the Doctor had said I shouldn't do,but I came through no worse for wear. Praises to God for husband who even cooked and brought some wonderful meals. God is awesome! Alan been praying for your daughter and Grandbaby all the time I was gone, had them on my mind a lot. Trish glad Gdaughter is better, prayers are always with you and yours.

Catherine: Can I suggest that God's people address those postcards to the residents of the local nursing home, where there is unbelievable loneliness? It would witness to the postal workers handling it, and be received by people who desperately need to receive reminders of God's awesome love.
---Trish9863 on 3/9/09

Donna: God is so cool. When He does things like sell that house, I get goosebumps. Praising Him always.

My granddaughter is getting better. She had a horrific weekend with vomiting, high fever and diarhea. My daughter is pregnant and exhausted. Thanks all for praying.
---Trish9863 on 3/9/09

I am calling for all of God's people all over the world to write to Jesus. Drop a letter or a postcard in the mailbox, saying, "I love you Jesus. My goodness, you write to other people and those in Washington. Who's more important? [What a way to witness]!

Would you believe in these hard economic times, The Lord God sent someone to me in SIX days to buy my father's house. AND I asked the Lord to get me a certain price for it - and God got me the exact price I needed to cover the mortgage that's on the house, the Realtor's fee, transfer tax, etc.,

This is a testimony to my family because my sister tried to sell the house since last June by herself and it failed. She does not believe in God, nor forgiveness, and her way failed, but God's way didn't. I hope and pray this brings her to a place of repentence of all of her bitterness and resentment.
Please rejoice with me and pray for my family...they really don't know the Lord at all.
