I've always thought this was so awsome:
Eze 44:28 And it shall be unto them for an inheritance: I am their inheritance: and ye shall give them no possession in Israel: I am their possession.

Jesus says: "If you all love me, my Commandments keep. Nevertheless when the Son of man comes, will he find faith on earth? For the Son of man will come in the glory who's Father of him, with the angels of him, then he will reward to each according to the works of them." John 14:15+ Luke 18:8+ Matthew 16:27.

My favorite Bible verse is:
Proverbs 3:5-6 Which states. "Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not unto your own understanding. In all your ways take notice of him and he will guide your path."
This has been a favorite since the year 1982 when my mother passed away. She had leukemia but died of an accident. I was 32 and had all sorts of questions as to why her. This is when I learned that in all things rely in God and his ways. He will guide us to his will and we will know that what he has for us is for our good and will last forever. Always be guided by God's will not relying on ourselves or man. Chery3398

Job 28:28 The Fear of the LORD, that is Wisdom, and to depart from evil is Understanding.
It keeps me humble before the Lord, as I diligently endeavor to depart from whatever evil may be in my Life because I desire to Understand the Knowledge of God's Word which requires Wisdom!!!

Isaiah 40:30-31 (King James Version)
30Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:
31But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings as eagles, they shall run, and not be weary, and they shall walk, and not faint.

This is similar to the question, which is the best of the gifts, Romans 12, 1Corinthians 12. It's answered with another question, which one do you need now? But, the following verses have been favorites at times: Job 5:7, although I probably used it out of its' context. Psalm 42:1, and the Martin Nystrum song used in many services. Numbers 23:19.
Romans 16:27. -Glenn

My favorite Bible verses are:
1If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
2Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
3For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.
4When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.

"He who has my commandments and keep them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.".
Jesus spoke such a power-packed message in just ONE verse!!! WOW!.
If you break it down into fragments, we must first receive Jesus's commandments. We must learn them and next keep them. If we show our love and devotion to Him, then we are declared the ones who truly love Him. And when we do, we are loved by Christ, we are loved by God, and Jesus promises to reveal himself, the Word of God, to us.
What a promise!!! What a verse!!!

"Buy the truth, and sell it not, also wisdom, and instruction, and understanding." (Proverbs 23:23)
Years ago, I read & didn't understand this proverb. I asked the Lord & didn't get an immediate answer. So, I thought if He wanted me to know He'd tell me in time.
Months later, I read it again & got this insight: You "buy" the truth by "paying" attention to, by spending time in God's recorded word (the Bible). One "sells" the truth when he/she "exchanges" (trades) it for devilish lies.
Wisdom, instruction & understanding comes to all who willingly give God a hearing (listen) & adhere to His Word.

"nor as being lords over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock." (1 Peter 5:30
I am not to lord myself over anyone, not even in my mind, not by pressure, charm, deceit, certain sorts of convincing, etc. But win by example in the sight of God. And ones are *entrusted* to us > God is *trusting* me with every person, for me to be personally interested in any person and do what God has me do to love each one, how He rules me in His peace to do this >
"And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body, and be thankful." (Colossians 3:15)

Romans 8:28 And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. I've always trusted in this verse. Sometimes I've thanked Him instantly and other times I've had to wait quite a while for Him to work things out for me. He has never let me down. PRAISE GOD

Mat 4:3 And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.
Because Christ said no!
However, I look at the stones as us!
And the bread as us in Christ!
I raise my hands, bow my head
I'm finding more and more truth in the words written in red
They tell me that there's more to life than just what i can see
Oh i believe

I think my favorite single verse would be 1 Corinthians 10:31, "Whether therefore ye eat or drink or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God." My favorite chapters are Romans 7 & 8. God bless to all and Happy Resurrection Day!

II Cor 5:7 "For we walk by faith and not by sight." This verse actually helped me accept Christ when I was lost. It made me realize that we are in control of absolutely nothing. That was very disturbing to me then but has since become a comfort. I just pray that I become better at walking the verse.
