There is no regard for any other prophets here either.
These prophets, men of GOD in Old Covenant explain the New Covenant. But, the denom's cannot bear to hear them. They want it their way.
Cemetary didn't teach it...we won't believe it.

Amos 3:7
Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.
Matthew 2:17
Then was fulfilled that which was spoken by Jeremiah the prophet, saying,

Where are requirements found in scripture to prove if "Jesus" is Messiah that is taught by church? .....Blog Question

This confirmed for me.
1. GOD married to Israel. Jer 3:14

2. GOD divorced 10/parts Israel. Jeremiah 3:8
...Israel committed adultery I had put her away, and given her a bill of divorce,...

3. GOD said he would remarry..Israel. YAHSHUA's death made this possible. Widowhood law.
Isaiah 62:4
Thou shalt no more be termed Forsaken, neither shall thy land any more be termed Desolate: but thou shalt be called Hephzibah, thy land Beulah
5. Wife wants back. .....I will go and return to my first husband, for then was it better with me than now.
Hosea 2:6-8
Matthew 20:14-16

Well to start off Jesus is the only begotten son of God.
If you don't believe in Jesus now you will be fooled when the Anti-Christ comes
You want the Messiah talked about in the bible not what the ("church") says.
Jesus didn't change one jot in the law, but blood ordinances and sacrifices did cease. It's written in the new testament, haven't you read it?
---larry on 10/12/09

Men in the course of experience have come to accept and/or reject certain things.
Jesus himself said, if you do not believe my word to leave me for my works sake. As Nicodemus said, we know you are from God. All this argument, question or dispute, rests on one thing and that one thing is called faith!!!!!

Christians today are taking the same path as the Jews in Jesus' day - they will not recognize him upon his return. One major deception is that christians believe what they hear at their denominational churches each having their own traditions, ways of living, and interpretations of the bible. (read Colossians 2:8-10) Another deception is the pre-trib rapture when Jesus sets foot on the earth christians will not believe it's him becasue they should have been raptured before that event.

They will not even recognize the two prophets mentioned in Revelation.

Jesus Christ is the real Messiah. Isaiah 53 prophesied of Jesus coming as the Messiah. When Jesus Christ was resurrected from the dead, He established the New Covenant. Hebrews 8:7-9 "For if that first covenant had been faultless, there should no place have been found for the second. For finding fault with them, He saith, Behold the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a New Covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah: Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of Egypt, because they continued not in My covenant & I regarded them not."

No one can possibly know the true God without the new birth.. When Jesus saves you then you know indeed that Jesus is the true God. For there can not be non-other. Jesus is in every book of the Bible, because Jesus wrote it....Sorryyyy, there is no other way to escape HELL, except through His Blood, and the power of His resurrection. Is what saves lost souls today. I do not just believe it, I KNOW IT.

Uncertainties such as "Will the real Messiah please come forth" will give the false christ, the imposer, the spurious messiah his platform. In his deception he will feed off man's doubts, concerns, and most of all man's fear. He will build upon the expectations and misconceptions of the religious systems of the world, and appropriate those expectations and/or misconceptions to himself. When Jesus returns there will be no room for speculation as to whether or not He is 'The' Christ, for we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. He dwells in a resurrected body, and the moment He returns the faithfuls bodies will be changed, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body.

There are many requirements that proves Jesus is the only Messiah. One well known one is being "born of a virgin". Jesus has given us the New Covenant which supercedes the old, and with it he has rightly Commanded us to obey to his New Law of ministering life, which is contrary to the old law and ministry of death: for it is not possible to "turn the other cheek" as commanded in the New Law and also to "take and eye for an eye" as commanded in the old law.

Anyone who has been saved by God's Blood knows that Jesus is the Messiah. There is absolutely no way to get to heaven unless Jesus forgives you of your sins. If you are truly saved you know these things. After your your body dies it's too late. Then your soul goes to hell. Anyone who's truly saved knows these things. Also, the wicked man is comfortable in what they do, because the wicked man thinks he is getting away with sin. He won't.

Oh and the part about law I think is misread too often. I don't believe they are speaking of governmental law. god says give to Caesar what is Caesars. I could be wrong but what I've gotten out of the new testament is that in the old testament they lived by the law of Moses as a sign of their faith, once Jesus came they were to drop the doctrine of the law and to live by the gospel of Jesus. We are to still follow those laws. But the laws are no longer the doctrine. The doctrine is Jesus and the fact that he came and died for us. The law can not save you....JESUS can!!!

One must be careful when they put
Jesus-Christ together like it's his last name.
As you know or should know, back in the Lords day's people called him Yahshua,
the letter "J" was non-exsistent back then.

Christ coming from the english language,
which they got from the latin word Christo
which they got from the word Messiah.

So, as far as words go, Christ'ians are Messiah'ians...

Yahshua/Jesus "IS" the Christ/Messiah

Dear Reuben, I know you believe in God that He answers prayers, i strongly believe God answers prayers. Could you please pray sincerely to God to show you who Jesus really is to HIM(GOD) and to you a believer?
---Adetunji on 8/22/09

Well the proof is in the bible. Not only the words written in the old testament to tell us what was coming for the new testament (That DID come to pass!) but also as far as the time line in which it was written. Let's not forget about the fact that the bible was written by a number of diff ppl on 4 different continents. I think that's a good bit of proof in itself. You'll have to study it. If it's wrong it's wrong and you can move on. But when you discover it's not you'll be so happy you did.

If Jesus Christ isn't the "real Messiah", then there are a lot of people( myself included) who are following a lunatic! Jesus said in Scripture that if we "denied Him before men, then He would deny us before His Father. If He is not the Son of God, then He was one real liar. His statements in the Gopsels leave no room for any other stance, either He was/is the Son of God or a liar and a lunatic. I believe He is who He said HE was.

>Jesus Christ is the ONLY REAL Messiah. It was proven through scripture in O.T. prophecy. Jesus Christ is the ONLY one that has and will ever fulfill ALL of the prophecies about Him in scripture. Jesus did NOT do away with or change the O.T. Torah (law) - He fulfilled ALL of the Torah by His death on the cross. We are still to follow the Torah today and obey it, according to Jesus and the Apostles.

Hi Reuben, Not a lot of room here to lay it all out, but Isaiah identifies the characteristics of the coming Messiah, which Yahushua fits. You can see this for yourself in Isaiah 11:1-2, 42:1-3, 50:1-11, 52:13-15, 53:1-12. Also, see the parallels between Isaiah 54:17 and Jeremiah 23:5.

Psalm 2:1-9 identifies the Messiah as the Father's begotten Son.

Micah 5:2 Says the Messiah would be born in Bethlehem.

Proverbs 30:4 Asks the Father's name (Yahweh) and His Son's name (Yahushua aka Yahweh our Righteousness). Again, He is the begotten son.

I'm out of room, but I suspect you may be familiar, also, with the Talmud. If so, see b. Sukkah 52a. (continued...)

Now, Reuben, let's look at Yahushua's life. In John 10:24 Yahushua states He is the Son doing works in His Father's Name.

Isaiah 52:13 with Matt. 28:18 and Rev. 5:8

Isaiah 52:14 with Matt. 7:28 and 26:67

Isaiah 52:15 with Heb. 9:13 and Acts 2:33-36

Isaiah 53:1 and Micah 5:3 with John 12:37 (it was prophesied ppl wouldn't believe Him)

Isaiah 53:2 with Luke chapter 2

Isaiah 53:3 with John 8:48-49, Mark 15:17-20, Matt 26:37-39

...and the list goes on! (Google Why We Must Believe Yahushua is the Messiah. The first result leads you to an excellent study.)

RE your question about the Law, no, Yahushua did not change it, He fulfilled it!

It is in the bible, rueben.Jesus was born of a virgin, died on the cross and rose the third day.So Jesus Christ is the Messiah. The bible says so.Read the bible. And after Jesus died and rose again, didn't need to do sacrafices anymore. We can pray to Jesus, ask forgivness and repent from our sins.Jesus died for our sins,so we can go to heaven. The only way to heaven is through Jesus Christ.

Yes, there were Jews who were expecting their Messiah to give them a political and military deliverance. But Jesus is not interested in helping us to live our own lives that we can seek, here on earth (John 12:25, Psalm 63:3, Proverbs 8:11), by giving us merely political and monetary and other improvements. He has more for us, than what humans can understand the Mosaic Law and altar service orders to mean. If ones wanted to make Jesus their king, for purposes that their pride was seeking, it says > "But Jesus did not commit Himself to them, because He knew all men, and had no need that anyone should testify of man, for He knew what was in man." (John 2:24-25)

You are asking three questions at once.I will address the first.Jesus did not meet the requirments set fourth in pre Jesus era prophecy. There was unfilled expectations of Jesus and the then Jews (one example)would not tolerate someone who accepts a title from his apostles as a son of God yet would not become king of the Jews.
The cuurch(s) has mistaught who the messiah is.If Jesus met the qualifications then he would have lived a normal kingly life and accepted the kingship title on the same day when he fed 5000.There was a great number of people who walked away that eventful/uneventful day having their hopes dashed to pieces.
