As I find it difficult at many times, I've found it easier to go and help in places where sharing is always done as people know this is a place where you are fed, and dicuss God with the people there (in the refugee centre in Athens).

A word about sharing one's faith,

Winter always slows me down. It's been over two weeks since I witnessed to someone.

With the weather warming very soon I will once again be out in the open(I put signs on my pickup truck) I will once again get started. One thing about winter it increases the time I spend in jail ministry.

I agree totally, without works faith is dead,or at the very least awkward to be in heaven with our lord, and have no other reward, because our life was spent without any works, seems almost impossible if you are truly saved.yet even worse would be to counted among the goats by our lord,a life spent in denial, believing your saved and never were, how sad.

Shawn T. I believe you made it very clear to Mima about "Works of faith" and the one he was speaking of "works of the law" Your explanation was very good because I believe once someone hears "works" they right away assume "Works of the Law" Thanks for making that clear.

Brother, You're chiming-in on a comment Mima 'Cherry Picked' out of my original post, where I was sharing how the confidence to present ones Faith comes from being a 'Doers' of God's Word, which produces Justifying Works of our Faith/Good Works which makes it possible to share our Faith as testimonies of God's Word in our Life when spreading the Gospel b/c it's impossible to share Faith which is without Works : seeing how it is dead ... and that's what this thread is about, "Sharing Faith" !!

Tom2, You're sharing "How we're Saved", but Thanks for Eph.2:8-9.

... and as stated in Eph.2:10 We are his workmanship, created in Christ unto Good Works, which God Before Ordained that we walk in.

I LOVE TO STUDY "The word of God"> However, I cannot study unless God is into it. The anointing has to be there. God is teaching me a lot of stuff that I am not getting from the Bible. I love ChristiaNet's Bible tests. God has promised me a period of time when I will be studying more. For the first five years after I was saved I studied everyday through-out the day. Sharing my faith: Yes, I am comforable. Why wouldn't I be. Just let someone, anyone, seem open and here I go. I know there is a living God. And He lives in me. Remember, we do all things through the power of the Son. For we have no power of our own. There are some issues like confronting false teachers that I really must contain myself. [family members, mainly].

it is by grace, through faith in the finished work of Jesus, that we are saved, not by works, lest any man should boast.

Brother, Make a righteous judgment if you're going to judge at all b/c there's no conflict here, seeing how God is not the author of confusion.

Gal.2:16 is speaking about the Faith of Christ by which God's Children are Justified compared to the works of the law, by which no flesh is justified.

Abraham in James 2:21-22,24 was Justified by His Works of Faith. A Faith rooted in the Hopes of God's Promise of Grace in the Finished Works of Christ.

Mima, I'm sharing about 'Works of Faith', not works of the law. So, It appears that the word "Seems" is the optimal word in your post, and it seems that you need to reread my post again but more carefully this time !!

This statement by Shawn.M.T."These Works of Faith are by which we're 'Justified', and by which we're to Live." Seem to be in conflict with thIS statement from Galatians 2:16,"Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified." It seemed we are not justified by the works of faith but rather by the faith of Jesus Christ. You can be the judge.

Colossians says Christ is your life. I never knew what that meant until I came into some level of maturity in Christ Jesus.

So because Christ is my life, I include him in all of my conversations with people. I Glorify the works and miracles of God in my life.

I study the bible every day by doing word studies. When I needed Joy, I studied Joy. I also study it by chapter and verse. I use the Bible Knowledge Commentary and it gives a good understanding of the passage of scriptures.

Someone recently said to me they don't understand my obsession with God. It was a non-saved Jewish person. I was pleased that they used that word, so now I tell God, I am obsessed with your Love, Your Joy, Your Mercy, and with You Yourself.

To Whosoever Has An Ear To Hear?

Brethren, We must come to understand that the sharing of Faith is not just the sharing of our Knowledge of the Bible, as it is also the sharing of our "Testimonies" of God's Word in our Life !!

To share our 'Faith', calls first for our Faith to have "Works" b/c if our Faith has not Works, then it is impossible to share seeing how it is dead. These Works of Faith are by which we're 'Justified', and by which we're to Live.

So, Meditate Day & Night in spreading the Gospel while becoming a "Doer" of God's Word, and you'll easily overcome the sharing of your Faith with others through the Strength of Christ & by the testimony of God's Word in your Life. Rev.12:11

Ouch this question hurts. Obviously I'm not where I would like to be--but God is a God of new beginnings. :)
