MarkV I can't begin to thank you for all your nice words about me,but I shall try. I am very grateful that you feel the way you do about how I am on here. I do try to always think and pray about what I write on here. Your are so welcome for how patient you say I am with you although I didn't realize I was,so thank you again for kind words. I am the one blessed when I get to pray for someone's needs, and you are so welcome. Thank you and praise God when my heart gives evidence of who I am,it is all through God living and moving in me and my life. I am glad to know you too,and I ask those blessings and peace for you too. God Bless

Fay thanks for the prayers. I welcome and need all the blessings, wisdom, understanding God can give me.
---Darlene_1 on 6/9/10

Darlene 1, I pray God continues to bless you. That he reveals new wisdom & understanding. That He fills your heart to overflowing with His presence. His loving healing presence.Amen.
---fay on 6/3/10

Fay I asked prayer because the Word of God says pray ye one for another and the prayer of faith will save the sick, there is the possibility she was feeling the results of medication in the hospital plus the big reason even with aging God may well choose to heal someone no matter what the cause. Most of all I ask prayer because I love her,and don't give up praying for people no matter what the reason for the illness, besides she and her husband were our traveling buddies and it breaks my heart to see her like this. I never stop praying no matter what because I know God is the God of the impossible. When we pray for one another we are showing the love of God. Thanks for the prayers.

Ps 37:4 Delight thyself also in the Lord and he will give thee the desires of thy heart.
---fay on 6/3/10

Fay, your answers and suggestions are the reason I am so much against people that say they can heal, that God does what people tell Him.
We don't know what God is going to do with a persons life. We have no idea what is best though we know what we want to happen. Things in this world are not done by what we want or our will, it is all the will of God. And we pray for many reasons. One, because we have someOne to depend on. That can decide what is best for any of us. Who never makes mistakes and all His actions are righeous. We also pray because we ask to pray that God's will be done. We pray because many times God provides us with an answer by healing the person, or strengthening us to endure the trails.

Darlene 1, I am so glad she is out of hospital. If you really believe that your sister-in-law is just aging then why ask for prayer in the first place.

I ask you Father God to release this woman from this illness completely. In the name of Jesus I ask that you fill her heart, mind, body, soul & spirit with your Precious Healing Presence. Fill her to overflowing Lord. Give her a new awareness of Your Glory. Use her to heal others. Amen
---fay on 6/2/10

My Sister-in-law is out of the hospital and in a rehab nursing home getting physical therapy to strengthen her Thanks for all the prayers.
---Darlene_1 on 6/2/10

Jesus & the 70 disciples called the sicknesses spirits. That's the Father's theology. I attended a church for 5 years where everyone that walked in the door was healed. 4 services a week for 5 yrs, every service & I only saw 1 man leave without his healing. When an archer misses the target he seeks the cause within himself.

Your acceptance of God's word is between you & God. Each must follow the path God is leading them.Your choice not to follow that path is your choice. But just because you choose not to follow it does NOT give you the authority to call it false.
---fay on 6/2/10

Fay thanks, you're so precious to offer advce,I really am grateful, but I must be honest with you. I have been a Pentecostal Christian for 60 years since I gave my life to God through Jesus at 11. I have prayed for sick, they were healed, some weren't though,I have prayed and rebuked spirits off people and cast demons out of homes by the name of Jesus but I do not adhere to the belief that sickness is of the Devil, don't get me wrong, sometimes it might be but that's rare, and I don't believe it is a spirit causing my Sister-in-laws problems. She is aging, there are often ailments which come with that, dementia is one,but it also can be due to medicines. Praise God he gives us discernment so we can know the spirits in operation,if any. God Bless
---Darlene_1 on 6/2/10

Fay, in Jesus there is hope, hope for salvation. It's your theology that brings false hope, because it comes from you not God. Yes, Jesus restored sight, have you restored sight to anyone? How many people you brought back from the dead? Jesus did. How many mountains have you moved? Greater works we will do but not in power, but in content. Through our witnessing the gospel. We can never have the power of God or we would be gods. You call sickness a spirit, when it is the body having problems not the spirit of the person. The condition of our health is many times our problem. We cause it by eating too much or smoking or drinking to much, it was not a spirit. Other times its just cancer that comes. It's God's will that will be done, not ours.
---MarkV. on 6/1/10

False hope? How can any hope in Jesus be false? Jesus went about teaching, preaching & healing. He raised people from the dead. HE told us we would do MORE than he did. He gave us the same glory God gave him. He gave us authority over all things. He told us the kingdom of heaven is within us.He gave us the keys to the kingdom of heaven. I KNOW whose hope I am. And it's Jesus. Nothing is impossible with God, nothing. I thank you for speaking in love but I stand for the truth that you could see also if only you could let go of traditional thought. I really do understand. It took a long time to rid myself of traditional thought. Faith is not "I'll believe it when I see it." Faith is "believe it & see it."
---fay on 6/1/10

Fay, when I speak to you I want you to know it is with love. You said the curse is broken, I agree to a point, broken in the spiritual sense. Physical death is still coming to all people. It will be done away when Christ comes. You do not need faith to believe that, we can see death happening everywhere. People might live to 100 or a few years more, but they are still dying. That curse has not been broken yet, but it will. I live by faith in the Truth. I only say what I say to you because many have a false hope. Many say people die because of lack of faith, or that someone didn't have enough faith. Which is false, they die when God appointed time comes. Some will not die when the Second Coming comes, they will be take as they are.
---MarkV. on 6/1/10

MarkV, God said man would die because of their sin, yes. But when Jesus died & rose again the curse was broken. James says a man that wavers & doubts won't receive anything. We need to quit looking at the natural & walk in full faith.
---fay on 6/1/10

Fay, this is with respect to you, the fact is that what happens is the will of God. And no, God doesn't get anyone sick in order to take them, sickness and decay of the body is from the curse that God put on mankind. It is not a spirit that is killing her or harming her, it is the facts of what happens to everyone in life. When God answers our prayers we know they are only temporary. Since they will no doubt die later as everyone does.
When Jesus healed people, those too died at a later time. The miracles were perform to authenticate that He was God. They were not done so that people could continue living forever. If what you say is true, then we would have people still alive for centuries, always fighting spirits to continue to live.

Darlene 1, When God is ready to take someone home he doesn't have to make them sick. Print the prayers. Post in her room. Ask everyone who visits to speak them out loud. Stand at her bedside & demand the spirit attacking her mind to leave in the name of Jesus. According to Luke 10:19 you have authority. Bind fear & squash unforgiveness. Make sure he knows you know it. The enemy is a thief who comes only to steal, kill & destroy. He is a huff & a puff & a bluff. Shoot him down. Remember John 14:12 & John 17:22. Read these scriptures out loud before you go and at her bedside. You have the authority! Believe it & use it. This is spiritual war. When an illness moves around it is a sure sign it is a spirit.
---fay on 6/1/10

Fay,that was a wonderful thought and prayer, thanks, but I'm sorry to say another problem has surfaced,so she's still in the hospital. My husband took her husband, his brother, out to a cafe for supper on his Birthday. When her husband returned to the hospital afterward she said "you kept me waiting in this car all day long while you were out partying". Today she woke up from a short nap and fussed at him for being gone all day,he wasn't,she was ok before she went to sleep. I don't know if its some of the medicine or if she is having mental problems, dementia isn't uncommon in a woman in her late 70s. God Bless
---Darlene_1 on 5/31/10

But we want her out of the hospital, so let's all stand in agreement she leaves the hospital today. The word tells us together we can put 10,000 demons to flight. Unity in the bond of love.

Jesus, you said anything we ask, believing, we shall receive. Shall means no question of doubt. We thank you God that you stand by your word, watching to perform it. We praise you & we thank you. We praise you Jesus for you are the only one worthy of praise. We praise you above everyone & everything. THE one who sits on the throne. We give you glory in all things. We give you glory in this situation. Heal her completely Lord. Fill her up & overflowing with your Healing presence. Use her life Lord to heal others! AMEN.

Lord God, I pray for Darlene 1's sister-in-law. I ask you to put your hand on her Lord. According to your Word I bind, resist & rebuke the problem in the lungs & command it to flee in the name of Jesus. God I ask that you fill her with your Healing presence.I command every atom of her being to come into alignment with the perfect creation God made her to be. That her lungs work in perfect sinc with the rest of her body Lord. I ask you to fill her with new revelations & dreams & visions and make her a willing vessel for Your service Lord. I command the enemy to flee her mind. She is free, she is free, she is free. All this I speak in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Shop For Distance Learning Colleges

Well, on this date May 28, 21010: I just now remember a question which I asked God a long time ago right after I was saved. And here it is. I asked Him, "is there a school for people to go to learn how to be a hypocrite? God said back to me, "they don't need to go to school to learn how to be a hypocrite, they only need to go to church. Hallelujah.
---catherine on 5/28/10

Trish, you're welcome and yes God is so very good. Thanks to those who prayed for my Sister-in-law,she is still in the hospital. When the Doctor talks about sending her home she responds "lets don't rush this". I think some of her problem, besides the breathing problem,is plain old fear and I can't blame her,its terrible not to be able to breath. She still needs our prayers.

I would be appalled if in the UK, the Monarch and Prime Minister (equivalent of the US President) were to) were to "skip the Memorial Day services"

There was outrage here whne the PM failed to bow his head!

But it does seem that Obama was attending a service elsewhere than at Arlington.

Can that be verified? Is it an adequate reason? .

This month is certainly long! So long that it took two What's Up blogs. Somebody needs to tell John that he can post another question to start a discussion for his pathetic rantings.

I find it absolutely DEPLORABLE that President Barack Obama isn't planning to attend the Memorial Day services at the Arlington National Memorial.

As the commander-in-chief of the U.S. Armed Forces, I'd think that President Obama would be willing to show more "respect" for veterans.

I didn't vote for President Obama. His values are "questionable". I think that his plans to "skip" the Memorial Day services are both "dis-honoring" to veterans and a sign of poor character.

Maybe President Obama will read this posting and change his mind. I hope so!

Thanks Darlene. God is good, all the time.

I think everyone should totally ignore John's post, as this is a totally inappropriate venue for his discussion on that topic. He is free to start his own blog on that topic.

Eloy,it sounds like what you planted this year has become a real "sweet" blessing. It is so wondeful to me to be able to know others plant and see things grow,I am aways happy to hear when someone else is having such a rewarding outcome for their efforts. I'm not able to garden or plant things anymore but one of my dearest memories is of my Dad's Mother always cutting me beautiful flowers from her yard. God Bless
