Glorify God Or Peace
God does not stutter, and neither do I. We are to HATE the very clothes that the wicked man wears on his body. We are to Hate the very ground that the wicked man walks on. We are to Hate the very devil that lives in every unsaved person. We are to Never Hate the human-being, because we are all made in God's image....It amazes me how many believers will die and go to hell. SATAN BELIEVES AND HOW HE TREMBLES! He'll be in hell too.

Catherine: 'HATE what is evil' - a very good piece of scripture - but dangerous in some cases
Before we can HATE what is evil, we must first know what is evil
It is just that even here, on a Christian site, there are lots of disputes about what exactly God wants, or what God hates
Some things we agree on, for sure
But some other, well, we can't be sure
My normal methods is go discuss with people from at least 2 other congregations, as different churches...........

I liked what I read what little I read. In Romans 12:9>>>>"Let love be without hypocrisy, HATE what is evil. Embrace what is good. Thank You Jesus. Have a tender love for all your brethrens and sisters, because they are in Christ, also. Do not favor the rich ones....Some churches are into this, today. If you are not rich it might spoil the preacher's steak dinner on Sunday afternoon.....We need not think of ourselves as great. Believing that we are God's gift to this world, is foolishness. We, humans, I feel, are inconsequential. [have thought this] But Know this, God can do mighty things through His people. Unbelievers are blessed to have us.

We should also remember that 'peace with all men'(Rom 12 and Heb 12) has the 'if possible', in one or another form, in front of it
We are told to be at peace with all, when we can. That is not the same as doing everything to be at peace. We are told to try to be at peace, as in, not cause problems either between us and others, or between others, and to submit when that is not in conflict with our Biblical duties
There may, though be some times when peace will conflict with justice, or our other duties

Forgive me Gee for mispronouncing your name. My apologies.

Dee I would keep in mind the words Jesus spoke to Peter when He concerned himself with John "What is that to you? You follow Me."
In following Him you will "aspire to lead a quiet life, to mind your own business, and to work with your own hands," as if the Father Himself where your supervisor.

Humans are social so acknowledge Monday Night Football your favorite team and keep walking toward your cubicle. Seek balance.
No use being at either extreme of separation or condemnation. Life is not black or white but shades of gray, and we are not robots unaffected by society around us.
In short, give the piety a rest.

Gee, when I was working at AMD I use to drive by buildings and see the same people outside smoking all the time. I was an air condition mechanic and went to all the buildings and always saw the same people outside smoking. Using company time. I never said anything. The reason is because they are responsible for their own lives. Our job is not to tell them what they are doing is wrong but to preach the gospel to all who will listen on your own time. Most everyone finds ways of getting away from working, and most everyone like to gossip. Very few mind their own business. That is the world for you. What else is new?

You refuse to participate in any way, shape or form, but continue to love.

It's more important first to seek peace with God. With the living God. Peace with men comes from your heart. Keeping the peace is not for Christians, to be concern about. "We must obey God". Satan will through this at you, to get you to back off and to get you into disobedience. Jesus did not come to bring peace. Always antagonism between God's people and the wicked man. And there will be no peace among the wicked man. NEVER. You can preach it, you can pray for it, you Can talk it, all to no account, for God cannot lie. There will never be peace among the wicked. Amen. Ah Jesus.++

I have avoided workplace nonsense by only working for myself for the past several years.

Once I was asked to lie for the company by my boss(who would be astounded at how the big companies take advantage of the small companies) and I refused. Whereupon he said to me, well you know how we can handle that, yes I certainly do I replied and the matter was closed. This same boss often times took my word over other other peoples by saying, well mima says this, and that's what were going to go with.

I keep silent. I don't listen, nor bother with the gossipers in my office.
I sit next to a very bitter woman and I keep silent towards her all day long. I also keep silent all day just so I can "be still and know that I am God."
At night I fill myself up with the Word of God and Worship and Praise Him so that I have strength for the next day at work.
Scripture says, "Thou will keep in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on thee."

You ignore these things. You put yourself fully into your work and do more than you are required and you won't have time to notice these things. Worked for me before my retirement and continues to work for me in the service of the Lord.

You have to bide you time where you are now with the fill knowledge that your eternal life after the resurrection of the dead will be significantly better.
If you can't handle that work some where else.

I usually tell the gossiper that I will pray for the party in question, and that usually shuts them up. Then, I avoid the petty people like the plague.
