Devil Have Rights To Us
Does this scripture Jude 1:9"Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee". Imply that the devil has a right to our bodies after death?

Daniel says Michael is a Prince not an Archangel.

\\I believe the verse should read "the Archangel of Michael"\\
On what basis?
Such a reading is not supported by the Greek text.
What precedent do you have for an "Archangel OF Michael"?

Revelation 14:9 And the third angel followed them saying with a loud voice if any worship the beast and his image receiveth the mark of his name.
(The unsave get the number of the beast)
God gives his mark to the save couldn't find verse right now it's late.

I believe the verse should read "the Archangel of Michael".This Archangel never did make any accusations against this rebel. This would be an act of prejudgeing another prior to their court appearance.
Angels never exercise judgement upon anyone.
The dispute was over a special resurection where Satan declared Moses' resurection should be posponed until a group dispensational resurection was announced.Although the verse reads about a dispute over a decomposed human corpse Moses recieved his special resurection with a new spiritual form anyway.

No. Once God has claimed his children the devil has no right . however if the person chooses to walk away from God then it's an open field for the advesaries out there!

I don't believe so. This Scripture reveals to us that if the devil can't find the body of the mediator of the old covenant, why do we try to? The old has been surpassed by the new, a better covenant built on better promises with a greater mediator who has a greater ministry. We aren't told where Moses is buried for a reason. Don't need to dig up the old that has passed away.

God I hope not!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So are you saying if we live our lives for the Lord and have repented for our sins, lived according to what the Word of God says to do, we have forgiven everyone, led a life of being morale, honest, and righteous through Jesus Christ, that at the end the devil might have a right to our bodies...it doesn't make sense to me, does it to you?
I believe the Lord comes down at our last breath and receives our spirit unto Himself and I'm going to keep believing that until the Lord shows me differently.

Not at all.
Satan was probably trying to talk circles around Michael to stake a claim, but don't forget: the devil is a liar.
Romans 14:8--If we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.
That includes our bodies as well.

The devil only has a right to our bodies, if we give that right to him, through sin, unforgiveness, and the occult.
