REVELATION 5:10 And hast us unto our GOD Kings and Priests, and we shall reign on earth
---RICHARD on 10/11/10

One of the characteristics of those who are saved(and know it ) is boldness.
I have seen the most shy people become unbelievably bold once they realized that they were eternally saved. That is just one of the reasons that I am "hung up" over eternal security it is in fact a peace that passes all understanding.

I now realize more and more everyday, that we are indeed saved only by His grace, through His Blood. Those of us that are saved. Ah Jesus. It is a mystery, to me.

"What is the reward of the saved?" Eternal life, and a resurrection to life eternally.
"And this is eternal life, that [the saved] may 'know' (perceive, recognize, understand, and become acquainted with) [The Father], the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom [He has] sent." Ref. Jhn 17:3
"The 'nations' (as in a multitude of people) [will be] angry [when Your] wrath has come, [to be carried out when the Lord returns], And the 'time of the dead', that they should be 'judged', [representing the judgement seat of Christ], And that [Jesus] should 'reward' Your servants the prophets and the saints, And those who fear Your name, small and great, And should 'destroy' those who destroy the earth." Ref. Rev. 11:18

The reward for my salvation is a mansion in heaven where there will never be tears, no terriorist, no gangs, no child abuse, no rape, no death, no cancer ,no need for jails, divorce or money. I will be a joint heir with the Heavenly Father. I thank God everyday for my salvation.

Is not the question the answer itself?

The reward of being saved IS being saved.

Let me speak directly to the questioner. Why do you want a reward? Why do you need a reward? Jesus said if you keep His commandments you show you love Him and He will love you, and the Heavenly Father will love you and Jesus will reveal Himself to you. That should be enough for anyone.

Besides that, we are co-heirs in all that Jesus will receive from the Heavenly Father. Wow. What do you think the Creator of all things is going to give His Son who did exacly what the Father wanted? Better than any reward I could ever imagine.

Not much of a reward, if you interpret this literally.

But as I've said elsewhere, it's a shame that so many modern Americans (especially Christians here) can't understand metaphor and symbol.

"After these things the word of the LORD came to Abram in a vision, saying, 'Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward.'" (in Genesis 15:1)

And I am not here first for getting what is for me, if I am first about pleasing God. So, my true reward is that I have truly pleased You, LORD. I seek this prosperity for God > "rather let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God." (1 Peter 3:4)

And if I truly love others as myself, I'd say I care just as much about their getting what is good, as I do about a reward for myself. Matthew 5:46

Brethren, Salvation is the reward of being Saved....

Grace Unto You & Peace Be Multiplied
---Shawn.M.T. on 9/30/10

Those who are already saved already have their reward. The reward then and now of following the Lord Jesus Christ is eternal life. ETERNAL LIFE is gained when we become saved and cannot be lost. All Scripture points to this truth.

Try Luke 17:7-10
If we receive just the Crown of Life, it is more than we deserve. As all of us have sinned, and fallen short of the Glory of God, we should only be told "Depart from me..."

I personally will be overjoyed to get the same pay as the servants that have labored in the field all day, while I have only come in at the last hour.
---ZedEx on 9/30/10

I understand that the saved will be receiving crowns, but what does that mean exactly. What will the saved be "doing" for all eternity?
---grace2U on 9/30/10

What other rewards does one seek for when a Christian has already received eternal life in Jesus Christ? Be very careful of what the doctrine of dispensation teaches.

There are crowns that are going to be given out for our reward. Search them out in Revelation.

The Crown of Life is one. I forget the rest, but do a bible study and then come back and share with us what you found. They're mentioned in Revelation I think.

I never stuided them because I know I ain't gettin' one!!!! LOL!!!!

I'm getting a big bag of coals when I get to heaven, one for each trial I had to go through (kidding of course).

"The reward of humility and the fear of the Lord are riches, honor WOW, and life"....Humility---a big word. It has eight letters in it. Very, very, few people knows what it means. Well, I'm here to tell you---it means total dependence upon the living God. Okay Scripture [Prov. 22:4]...."Blessed are you when people insult you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward in heaven is great, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you" [Matt. 5:11-12].
