People say "I" am anointed too much here all over the blogs. Where is the humbleness, I pray?

Seek Christ in your children, in your wiues, seruants, and subiects. Father, mother, son, daughter, master, seruant, king and subiect, be names in the worldly regiment. In Christ we are all one thing, none better than other, all brethren and must all seek Christ and our brothers profit in Christ. And he that hath the knowledge whether he be lord or king, is bound to submit himself and serve his brethren and to giue himself for them, to win them to Christ.

William Tyndale, The Obedience of a Christian man 1528

The reason for our existence is to glorify God.

Contrary to the general belief our existence is not for the purpose of, being happy, being successful, having many friends and such things. Our existence is to come to grips with our condition. From birth all man's condition is that they are lost and on their way to hell. God knows this and has plainly stated such to us. The remedy for this lost condition is in the person of the Lord Jesus Christ and his actions on our behalf, he and he alone offers the way of salvation. And he will not cast any out that come to him. He has done everything for us so let us hurry to him and asked for his forgiveness and his mercy and grace will fall on us.

There are humans who are just existing . . . not enjoying God in His loving of all people, not enjoying how You, LORD, include us in Your loving all people. I do not wish to say what is the purpose of ones who keep on existing without God, except one can consider Romans 9:21.

But Joseph (Genesis 37-50) lost everything and was put in prison, after his own brothers sold him into slavery. They even put kid's blood on Joseph's bloody tunic (Genesis 37:31-36), in order to make their own father think a wild animal had mauled his beloved son to death. But God used even this for His loving purpose (Genesis 50:20).

No matter what awful thing happens, God has His good meaning for us who take good advantage of a hard thing.

"Till Christ be formed in me."
---anon on 10/15/10

I'll try to put it in simple, everyday, terms:

People were created -- in the image of GOD -- to have FELLOWSHIP with HIM.

The Bible also COMMANDS us -- this is NOT optional -- to spread GOD's Word and make disciples of ALL nations.

Yes, even those "people", and/or "nations", that you might not like or that might HATE you.

I find the FIRST part to be "easy". I am constantly praying and working on the SECOND part.
---Sag on 10/15/10

To Love the Lord Thy God with all of thine heart, mind and soul.

To Give All the Glory to God Our Father and Jesus His Son.

To Fellowship with God, Jesus and Holy Spirit.

To "go and preach" the good news of the gospel to the poor. To be a witness to them of the Lord's love for them.

It's the kindness of God that leads people to repentence, not the preaching of people, amen?
