I KNOW THIS MUCH, and more. If all people ended up in hell, there would be no reason for any of us to complain, now, come on now Jesus.

"Does anyone know what God sees in His creative human beings? "I sure don't". Ah.
---catherine on 11/5/10"

I believe the answer to the above question has to do with God's ability to understand our potential, and understand what we are supposed to be, and will one day be. Unconditional love encompasses all about it and especially anything that has been made of a higher-order, and in the image of Almighty God must be considered worthy of all effort to save. We humans have in us uncovered, undiscovered, deeply hidden, attributes which we can never realize without being reunited with Almighty God.

I like what aka said.... For me, He is still with me, and in me. My standing with God is not based on my profession, or my good name, or my loyalty...... GOD.

Kathr was not saved by the Covenant of works she tells us, and she says there is no Covenant of Grace, by what Covenant was she saved by? Is she teaching another gospel? Not saved by works and not saved by Grace, is there another Covenant we never heard of? Are people been saved another way that we have not heard of? I would love to see the passages to support her view so I can learn something today.

Concerning the question above, My standing with God is based on the faith God gave me. "For by Grace we are saved, through faith and that not of ourselves, it is a gift of God lest anyone boast.",

God sacrificed His Own for me, Jesus gave His life for me, and the Holy Spirit strengthens me despite me.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. I'm taking God at His word. Trusting in His mercy, love & sacrifice for me.

Hi mima....

Just another thought....KNOWING your Covenants WILL SET YOU FREE...( from false teachers, cults and bogus gospels that can't and won't save anyone!!!)

Even Mormons can claim a standing with God believing in Jesus...but on what foundation? They believe God gave another covenant to Joseph Smith annulling the Abrahamic Covenant.

If God can annul a covenant He clearly states cannot be annulled...all the belief in the world is here on sinking sand!!

Same with the Mosaic WAS done away with.

My covenant with him through HIS SON Jesus. The race is not over, so I haven't recieved the crown yet, however I am humbled to be in the race. So my standing is that I am one of Gods daughters, & happy to be a disciple & servant daily.

Part 2

One can say Yes the finished work of Christ, yet because they claim that AND a wrong covenant there are issues.

Let me explain:

The Finished work of Christ AND the Old Covenant of Law, believing you can lose your salvation...WRONG.

The Finished work fo Christ and believe in Universal salvation, not found in any Covenant, WRONG!.

The Finished work and the Covenant of Grace not found in scripture where God picks and Chooses?? WRONG!!No such covenant.

BUT the FAITH of ABRAHAM which God clearly says is NOT WORKS or saving yourself...THAT is your Covenant...and where THOSE Promises are...It's THAT FAITH God is Looking for.

Well, I don't know what God sees in me. I ain't figured it out, yet. I know that He loves me. I love Him, only not enough. He said, "Don't worry about it. As you grow, you'll love me more". God wants strong people to serve Him. He's looking, He keeps looking. Someone who needs Him. And then watch-out! Ahhhhhhhhhhhh....He is the potter, I am the clay. JESUS+

The foundation of our standing with God is the most important thing we can believe. It's either ROCK or sinking sand. Our faith is based on God's PROMISES. BUT we need to rightly divide to whom and for what are many promises made. Can we CLAIM all promises. I don't believe so.

My faith is based on the Promise God made in Genesis 3:15 and reiterated again to Abraham, called the Everlasting Covenant AKA the Abrahamic Covenant also Everlasting. This Covenant PROMISE was never done away by any other covenants, as clearly stated in Hebrews, Galatians, Romans 4 and on and on!!!

First of all, everyone needs to know and understand this: God is real, and so few people are chosen to live with Him through-out eternity, till it is not funny. I base my good standing with God on this: HE HANGS AROUND. Ha, Ha, Ha.

It's based on the finished work of the Cross of Christ Jesus.

Through Jesus, we have peace with God and have been made righteous.

Our standing with God is based on What Jesus did for us -He was crucified, died and was raised from the dead, so that we now have a "standing" or "relationship" with God through Jesus.
