PRAISE THE LORD!! :) Just got word from my husband over the phone that the spot on his lung is NOT cancer--hallelujah! We are soooo grateful to God!

Bless you Alan--thank you

Mary ... Praying!!
---alan8566_of_uk on 2/13/11

Praise God for Ali and other answers to prayer! :) If anyone feels led, can they pray for my husband? A cat scan was done recently to identify what a spot on his lung is, whether it's scar tissue--or God forbid something else. We'd appreciate any prayers and a soon result by phone or in the mail--thanks.

Praise God!!
Ali is so much better now, although still on intravenous antibiotics, and will move soon to oral. She is eating, and is walking around the hospital. She should be discharged during the week. She still cant speak except very softly, and the vocal cords are frozen on one side. The results of the MRI scan arent yet back to show what might be causing this. Still, that is fairly minor compared to the really life-threatening situation she was in.
Pray now to thank God for this great improvement, and to speed Alis return to a normal life

Thanks for you prayers for Ali ... here is an update:
Prayers are being answered, although there is still some way to go.
Ali is now able to walk a bit unaided, and the temperature seems to be under control Her voice is soft and husky, and they hope that she will recover her normal voice, but maybe there has been some permanent damage.
She is still having antibiotics intravenously for the next week, and then will have to take them orally for a fortnight.
The best news, I think is that she is becoming bored!

Thanks for your prayers please keep going with them, as i will for all those other needs !

It's freezing here as well today.

I am grateful that I am feeling a bit better today...still sore, but not as bad as it has been.

I am still sick with a sinus infection addition to the infection in my toe.
---Trish9863 on 2/9/11

It's below freezing today, br-r-r-r-r-rrr.

Eloy: Thank you. I will read your e-mail and pass it on to Barb.

Those adorable little kids are my grandchildren. They are my Munchkins, and I spoil them every chance I get. Thanks.
---Trish9863 on 2/7/11

Trish, Thank you kindly, I do appreciate it. I penpaled you. You have some really darling little children there.
Well, I got to run to the post office and get some stamps and tax forms. Have a really good day.
---Eloy on 2/7/11

Thanks for the reply, Eloy. Good to hear Barbara and Steve are doing well, too...thanks, Trish.

Though we may fuss a bit, everyone here is a cherished individual. Once we get to know one another, it's hard not to miss folk when they suddenly disappear.
---AlwaysOn on 2/7/11

Eloy: I will e-mail her and let her know that you send your greetings along.
---Trish9863 on 2/7/11

Trish9863, Thank you for that information. I really appreciate it. When the burglars stole my computers I lost her and Steve's email address. Please tell her that I said "Hi!" to her and Steve, and that I miss her dearly. Maybe she would consider coming back to Christianet to blog, though I know that she has gotten turned-off by all the tasteless Christian-bashing as I myself have. You can give her my Penpal, and tell her that I merely do not repond anymore to those bloggers whom only blog to dis my posts and argue.

NVBarb now lives in Oregon. She is doing fine, and still has Knothead, the crazy cat. I hear from her regularly and see her on Facebook all the time.
---Trish9863 on 2/6/11

Has anybody heard from Barbara and Steve in Nevada? How about it Jack, I know she talked with you alot, do you know if is she doing ok, and her cat with psycho-tail, do you know?
---eloy7794 on 2/6/11

AlwaysOn, Yes, she has been gone from here for awhile. She had some troubles with a man friend in the past. We know that she loves Jesus, and I hope that she is ok also.

I've noticed that Catherine hasn't been around here. In fact, according to her replies, it doesn't look like she's posted anything in more than two months. Does anyone talk to her by pen pal or email? Do you know if she's ok?

Sorry to interrupt the flow of this blog, but I saw her name on an older blog and realized I hadn't seen her here in a while. She usually posts a lot, so her absence made me a bit curious. Of course, everyone's allowed to take a break from CN or move on, but I do hope she's well.

I am grateful that I was able to retire on disability, because this recent weather has been brutal, and I struggle to get moving everyday.
---Trish9863 on 2/2/11

What's up is that I'm trying to make a decision to continue during Ministry full-time instead of part-time. It's my passion!!!

Mary: Praise the Lord for your husband's baptism. That is awesome. Congratulations on your doggy. They are so much fun.
---Trish on 2/2/11

Just another month to serve the Lord. I will try to be more dedicated, more praying, more Jesus and more of being a good witness.
