I hope everyone had a blessed Lord's day, and Happy Mothers Day to all the women in our lives who have been motherly in one way or another.

I have been blessed by spending Mothers Day with my daughter, her husband and my two precious grandchildren.

God is so good to me.

Sunday May 8, Happy Mother's Day!, and if you're not a mother, then Happy Female Day!
---Eloy on 5/8/11

All moms are precious, who would deny Mom her special day?
All too soon she must leave us, too late then to say "I love you"
There are those among us pretending to be Christian who say "we honor mother every day"
Not having a "special" day (birthday, Mother's day Christmas etc.) my brother (JW) in 40 years never gave mom so much as a candy bar!
Theory is one thing ,reality is quite another!

Happy Mothers Day to you too, and to all moms here!
My mom died 30 years ago, and still there are times I miss her. She was, like many back then, a stay at home mom,and I was SO secure in her, knowing she would always be there. I've heard others refer to her as being a proverbs 31 type of mother/wife. I did not know the Lord then, though I wish I had, if only so I could have loved her more

To all mom's have a wonderful Mother's Day in the Lord, and even if no one sents you flowers are a card, just remember that many of us are praying for you for the great work you are doing or have done in your lives as mom's. Many have lost their mom's as I have, more reason to spread the love to other mom's.

When is Mother's day in USA?

In the UK it is half way through Lent, and was 3rd April this year.

Historically it was the one day in the year when young girls in service in the great houses were allowed home to go and see their mothers, and it is offically known as Mothering Sunday

Hello, Happy Mothers day to you as well! Your Mom sounds like she was a very special person to you. Happy Mothers Day to all mothers, young and old. Lets also remember Moms in nursing homes and those who suffer the loss of a child. God bless those able to love and those who do not know how too! Amen.
