Elena, I love you sister. I always think of you. Keep strong in the faith. There is very little we have control over, that is why it is so great to depend on the Lord.
Prayer is walking in the Spirit. Right now we have that ability, to speak to God and bring all our cares to Him. One day, we will be with Him forever. There will be no more pain. Love and thinking of you always, Que Dios te bendiga todos los dias. peace and blessings sister.

When we pray in God'swill we leave the answer up to Him. You know if its affirmative if you pray something the Bible says you should pray for . Otherwise its up to God.
NO, I dont think you show doubt by repeated prayers. The Bible gives the example of the neighbor who keeps knocking asking for bread.sooner or later the home owner will answer so he doesntkeep getting woke up.

pray without ceasing the Bible says. Pray for all things big or little. God is always concerned about everything in our life. He counts the very hairs on our head

"When can we be assured of affirmative answer to prayer?"
1 John 5:14-15 14 "This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. 15 And if we know that he hears uswhatever we askwe know that we have what we asked of him."
"Do we show doubt when we repeat the same prayer time after time?" Not necessarily, depends upon the prayer, motive, and the individual.
"How often do you pray? Do you pray for big things?" Pray for all things.I'd like to say I pray without ceasing, but in all honesty, I cannot say I have always been "successful" at that, however, I find that as one walks in Spirit, it is a continual prayer/communion with God.

I agree with Darline's and Cluny's answers except for his last one. We do display doubt when we repeat the same prayer for someone in our life and it does not happen. It is not lack of faith in God, but doubt on the prayer we said. People ask for many things that are not the will of God. New cars, new homes, our sons and daughters to mind us. While God wants the children to mind, many times He has a reason why He does not stop them and permits them to get into sin to later do a work in them. But as humans we are impatient and want things to be done now. So most of our prayers are self-fish. We are to ask for anything, it is God's will what we get. We still should come in prayer everyday. Because God's answer is always perfect and just.

There is no big and little with God but for me I pray for both, nothing is too small or large. Yes I repeat prayer, the last time I prayed may not have been God's time to answer for one certain person but next time may be the time. With praising God too,I probably pray and praise 20 to 30 times a day. I take the verse, pray without ceasing and praise continuely to heart and try to put it into practice. Even when occupied with chores I pray or praise. When I get up in the middle of the night I praise God. I try to show God I love him and we do that by staying in touch. We can be assured of affirmative answer when we pray God's will, based on his Word, and in his timing.

If a friend or family says to you "I was thinking about you today"
Would you say it made your heart feel warm
the thought someone cares.
what a sweet loving person.

God feels this when we think about him, So we all do pray to him in our thoughts.

I have to totally agree with Cluny's answers....he is right on.

We pray for OUR needs, not according to God's will..thus the prayer doesn't get answered until we see the TRUTH.

No, we don't doubt, Jesus rubbed mud on the blind man's eyes TWICE....was it because Jesus's power wasn't enough to heal him the first time? NO!!!!

I pray OFTEN, just now at my desk because my boss likes to play tricks on me by not giving me full information I need for my job and I just saw the Holy Spirit turn things around today....I prayed right at my desk..and He answered me. Glory be to God on High, who rules and reigns in Righteousness and Justice (they are the foundation of His throne) according to the Psalms.

\\1. When can we be assured of affirmative answer to prayer?\\

ONLY when we pray according to God's will.

The purpose of prayer is to get in tune with God's program, not badger Him into going along with ours.

\\2. Do we show doubt when we repeat the same prayer time after time?\\

No. Read the accounts of the Passion and Agony in the Garden, where Jesus prayed three times in a row to be spared crucifixion.

Consider also Psalm 136 (Hebrew numbering).

Do YOU show lack of faith when you sing the same hymn time after time?

Glory to Jesus Christ!

1) When the results either way happens or you take the action God has called you to take. Does that answer line up with Bible and previous revelation. Sometimes God does not care which path or decision you choose.

2)Throughout the OT prophets continuously prayed for the same thing. God sometimes relented judgement after many prayers. Elijah prayed 7 times for rain. David continuously prayed for his infant son. It keeps us focus on the object or situation present. However, do not let your prayer be an excuse for in action. Ex "I know God told me to do this but I just got to pray about it" (this is really convicting, this is for me as much as you)
