Does Jesus Talk To You

What is Jesus saying to you today? About you? Does he talk to you about others and why would he do that? I'm trying to get to a point of how someone on these blogs knows another one's heart.

Jesus talks to us in various ways. The Bible sermons other people he talks to us in our hearts with a still small voice have to listen he never talks in loud clamorings

God sure does speak to me everytime I read His Word. That is what the bible is for. ....I don't actually hear His voice speaking to me, He can impress upon my heart just as clear as if He was speaking.

Amen Shira!

Christ IMPRESSES on ones heart through HIS TRUTH - ONLY found in Holy Scripture

When people say GOD physically and audibly "spoke to them" they are deceived ...this is why so many have a "new message"

Christ said MANY would come in HIS name to DECEIVE and the deceived are taught to believe the LIE they "hear" Christ speaking to them

If one believes they have "heard" the voice of Christ talking about others they have simply HEARD a minister of Satan

God sure does speak to me everytime I read His Word. That is what the bible is for. It is God's letter to us. While I don't actually hear His voice speaking to me, He can impress upon my heart just as clear as if He was speaking. That has happened on many occasions. When God speaks to our hearts, there is no doubt who it is.

Anon, you must have not read my response carefully. I was talking about God "Speaking to you" verbally about what kind of car to buy. Of course He directs our steps, that is why I said, walking in the Spirit. There is no passage in Scripture that tells us what kind of car to buy, on when to get in the internet? Christians have use words losely many times and say God told them something when He speaks to us through His Word and directs us by His Spirit. It is a spiritual experience.

//He does not speak to you about material things such as to what kind of car you should buy..Mark V//

On the contrary Mark, five years ago I came to work NEVER planning on buying a car that night when I left work.

The steps of the righteous are ordered by the Lord. The Lord is involved in what kind of car to buy.

I found myself playing around on the internet looking at new cars and left my name and number on the website. Got a call and found myself going there after work.

EVERYTHING was ordained for me in heaven, all I had to do was go there, sign the papers, get the keys and drive the car home. That was when Jesus showed me He acts in the capacity of our Husband and God acts in the capacity of Our Father.

Anon, God speaks to His children through His Word. The Word of God. He does not speak to you about material things such as to what kind of car you should buy, or who is going to be in need, what He does is convict your heart, and you begin to feel a burden in your heart to help or give. He also guides you by the Spirit to the Truth written already in the Word of God. We walk in the Spirit. He doesn't tell you to get on CN. you feel the need to get on CN by faith that He is moving you by the Spirit to get on CN. Our relationship with the Lord is spiritual. The Spirit speak to our spirit. It is a spiritual experience, discernment is Spiritual also, because we are born of the Spirit.

Jesus tells me, "Go to the Christian website, and post my words which I tell you." Yes, he talks with me about others, because he cares. Every real born-again Christian knows whom is also Christianed and whom is not, for we know them by their fruits, by the things that they say and do, whether they be a Christian tree or else they be an antiChristian tree.

Anon, only the Lord knows someone elses heart.
1 Kings 8:39
"Then hear thou in heaven thy dwelling place, and forgive, and do, and give to every man according to his ways, whose heart thou knowest, (for thou, even thou only, knowest the hearts of all the children of men,)"
Also 2 chron 6:30

The holy spirit is the reveler of all mysteries which is usually for a specific reason. God can sometimes talk to you about others if he wants you to pray for them, send them a word of encouragement, sometimes it's a word of instruction for them. But this takes a level of maturity spiritually. Most of the time Jesus speaks to us about our selves and that is fun and comforting.

When Jesus speaks to me it is for me only.Jesus doesn't tell me about anyone elses business unless it affects me directly, example...(name)is going to go against you please keep alert...etc.However mainly he speaks to me as a elder brother does to show me what i don't understand and need to know.

Anon, no one knows another man's heart, I mean no one, no matter if they say they do. We don't have exray vision or the eyes of God to see a heart. We can make a judgment on how people act and what they do, and what they say, and yet never be perfectly correct. Only God has that power. We make judgments by the persons heretical views to Scripture.
The Spirit convicts us to help or spread the gospel. When Jesus talks to us through His Word, He guides us how to speak the Truth, the gospel of salvation to whomever He puts in front of us. We don't know if they are already saved or not, but believe by faith God is guiding us to certain areas. We are to look to see where God is working and we should follow with the gospel to that area.

Not to be so critical, but first have compassion for each person, be positive, in prayer blessing anyone (Matthew 5:44, 1 Peter 3:8-9) in hope of how God is able with each person. He will show me how someone really is, but not so I can look down on a wrong person, but so I care and have compassion and trust God to make me creative in how to love anyone and not be fooled by the person. This comes not with Jesus just telling me, but correcting me so I really love. "And this I pray, that your love may abound still more and more in knowledge and all discernment." (Philippians 1:9) "He can have compassion on those who are ignorant and going astray, since he himself is also subject to weakness." (Hebrews 5:2)
