What helps sinners wake up is the power of God. While we were yet sinners He died for us, and because of His great love for which He loved us (His own), He made us alive together with Christ.
If you are talking about everyday waking up as Christians, we should be waking up for the Lord by learning more about Him not about man. A study into the nature, character, and attributes of God will give us a better understanding of God Himself, and of Scripture passages. If you don't know God, you will never understand the passages correctly.

Mark 13:35-37 "Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning:
Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping. And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch."
1 Corinthians 11:30 "For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep."
Ephesians 5:14_16 "Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.
See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,
Redeeming the time, because the days are evil."

"What is helping you to wake up to God and His righteousness, today?"
Waking, as in spiritual revelation(seeing who He is His righteousness/Jesus Christ) God gives as we grow in Him, is by Him, so answer is God
He sustains, strengthens, keeps
"I lie down and sleep,I wake again, because the LORD sustains me." Ps 3:5
While this may be physical, He is there, His Word given in thought/heart to start the day
Also,"The Son is the radiance of Gods glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word." Heb 1:3
"It is God who arms me with strength and keeps my way secure." Ps 18:32
"the One who was born of God keeps them safe"
1 Jn 5:18

to be honest, c:, i don't know...i really think it seeing my relationship to my son compared to the Father's relationship to me.

also, it is getting easier to see God's righteousness because of our ever increasing self-righteousness.

"Awake to righteousness, and do not sin," Paul has written in 1 Corinthians 15:34. And ones here are pointing out this would not be written to sinners. And the question says, "What is helping you" . . . not what is helping sinners.

So, what helps me is to start each day being still, in order for God to do what He wants with me, before I do anything.

And I am welcoming anyone to share what helps you. God bless you, too (c:

help waking you up seems to mean to new christains who are being raised and waking and not the sinner...

"Wake up"? Is the sinner simply just "asleep" or is he declared "dead"? This is what Scripture tells us about the effect of the fall of Adam:

"Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin, and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned." Romans 5:12. "And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins,Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved,) Ephesians 2:1,5

So far be from it that the sinner "woke up", rather was raised from the "dead" by the grace of God through the Holy Spirit.
