and no one will be "resurrected" to mortal status. ---kathr4453 on 9/25/12

Dn 12:13 for thou (Daniel) shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days.

Jn 5:28 ..for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, And shall come forth.

Ezk 37:12 thus said the Lord Yahweh: Lo, I am opening your graves, And have brought you up out of your graves, O My people, And brought you in unto the land of Israel.

Lk 13:28 ..whenever you should be seeing Abraham and Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, yet you cast outside.

They will inherit the earth. They will come into the land. They will fulfill the promise of Sinai.
---Phil on 9/30/12

Resurrected Israel and those who lived by faith, shall be raised to mortal life on earth. Dn 2:44 Dn 7:27 Dn 12:2

---Phil on 9/14/12

Wrong Phil, those still mortal on earth are those still alive through the great tribulation period who did not take the mark of the beast.

However, ALL OT Saints now in Heaven with Christ and NEW T Saints, The BOC will be part of the first resurrection, and no one will be "resurrected" to mortal status.

MORTALS are humans who are subject to death. The second death is HELL, the Lake of Fire. It HURTS! ( will not be HURT by the SECOND DEATH...get it?

although an interesting philosophical remark it is not biblical ---Follower_of_Christ on 9/24/12

2Th 2:7 Only when the at present detainer may be coming to be out of the midst, then will be unveiled the lawless one, whom the Lord Jesus will despatch with the spirit of His mouth and will discard by the advent of His presence.

1Th 5:9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ.

Just as Lot was removed from Sodom before the indignation, so too shall we.

Grace and judgment cannot co-mingle.
---Phil on 9/25/12

It is not possible for the body of Christ to remain on earth at His return.

although an interesting philosophical remark it is not biblical and goes against holy scripture. prophecy shows us the Lord will reign on earth as King of Kings in Daniel as well as Zechariah 14

Zechariah 14:9
And the Lord shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one Lord, and his name one.

Israel had the prophecy of the coming messiah and did not believe, today the professing Christianity has the prophecy of the coming again of the Lord to rule the earth yet not all are Believers!!! many have become unbelievers and discount prophecy and Gods holy word to create stories not found in holy scripture.

It is not possible for the body of Christ to remain on earth at His return.

We will be changed, all of us, in the blink of an eye[1C 15:52].

If He did not glorify us, we would have to endure wrath, and be subjects of the rule of Israel to come, both of these being impossible.[1Th 5:9]

There will not be equality among peoples on earth.

He has chosen only one race to represent His rule on earth, Israel.

One cannot be on earth at His return without being subjected to them.

Paul says, "because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God." (Romans 8:21) So, I understand this means this earth, part of "creation", will be delivered into our "glorious liberty". Our "glorious liberty" includes how our earthen body will resurrected > "raised in glory", Paul says in 1 Corinthians 15:43. So, I consider that the whole earth also will be resurrected in our "glorious liberty". The "new earth", then, will not be what is now, but Heavenly in glory, Heaven and earth together, possibly (c: So, Jesus will be with us on the Heaven-quality earth. This will not be degrading (c:

Lk 13:28 There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you [yourselves] thrust out.

All Israel shall be saved. Ro 11:26

The nations are parted according to the allotment of the tribes of Israel.
Dt 32:8-9

The Kingdom of the heavens is earthly. The Lord is that King over this Kingdom.

Resurrected Israel and those who lived by faith, shall be raised to mortal life on earth. Dn 2:44 Dn 7:27 Dn 12:2

We, the Body of Christ, will not inherit Israel's allotment. Our portion is all that belong to the Christ of God. It is not merely the earth, but all that is His. Eph 1:10-11

1000 years in heaven, during which time we will serve as judges:

1 Cor 6:2 o ye not know that the saints shall judge the world?

Rev 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: ...and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

So we have 1000 year reign with christ as judges in heaven THEN:

Daniel 7:22 judgment was given to the saints of the most High, and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom.
Revelation 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth:
Revelation 21:2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven,

we come to earth and live here

Trey: "In that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives,.. And in that day it shall be that living waters shall flow from Jerusalem,.. And the LORD shall be King over all the earth." And at that time He will have "redeemed us to God by [His] blood Out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation,..[and] made us kings and priests to our God, And we shall reign on the earth... with Christ for a thousand years And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,..and will go out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, and they [will] surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city."Zec 14:4,8,9>Rev 5:10>20:4,7,8,9

Hi, Cluny (c: God bless you (c: You wrote > "Now you are expecting the Son to debase and humiliate Himself again to rule on earth." Jesus says, "I am with you always," in Matthew 28:20. So, He is here and not degraded, plus the Holy Spirit so precious and wonderful has been doing the most dirty work of all, in us cleaning us up. But the Holy Spirit is not degraded!

I understand that Jesus will be on the "new earth" (Revelation 21:1) which will have Heaven's own glory > Romans 8:20-21. In "the holy Jerusalem" "from God" (Revelation 21:10), on the "new earth", "The Lamb is it's light." (in Revelation 21:23). So, Jesus will be on the "new earth", not this one.

The Lord Jesus returns to earth, to rule as King of Kings and Lord of Lords from Jerusalem. When the Lord Jesus returns he brings his reward to his faithful church:

Revelation 22:12 12 And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work

Daniel 7:27 speaks of the Kingdom under the whole heaven (no in heaven under heaven)

John 14:3 The Lord states here he will come again

Matthew 25:31,34 When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. 1 Thessalonian 4:16,17 Daniel Matthew 5:5,35 Proverbs 10:30 Zechariah 9 & 14

The Lord Jesus will sit on his throne in Jerusalem
---Follower_of_Christ on 9/13/12

\\When the Lord Jesus returns he will rule Gods Kingdom on earth from Jerusalem, ruling from his throne in Jerusalem as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.\\

The Eternal Son emptied Himself when He left the Father's side and came to earth in the Incarnation.

After His Passion and Resurrection, He ascended into heaven and returned to His place at the right hand of the Father.

Now you are expecting the Son to debase and humiliate Himself again to rule on earth.

How can you call yourself a follower of Christ?

Glory to Jesus Christ!
---Cluny on 9/13/12

Heaven is not the reward of the saved. The Father in Heaven resides on his throne in heaven. The righteous will live eternally on earth with the Lord Jesus. When the Lord Jesus returns he will rule Gods Kingdom on earth from Jerusalem, ruling from his throne in Jerusalem as King of Kings and Lord of Lords. When the Lord Jesus returns he will bring with him his reward of eternal life and rulership in Gods Kingdom one earth there is no mention of mankind going to heaven.

Jesus is all that Heaven is, for spiritual blessedness (Ephesians 1:3). And Jesus is already being "formed in you" (James 4:19). And "New Jerusalem" comes "down out of heaven from God" (Revelation 21:2) to the new earth, I understand through Revelation 21:1-3. And this scripture shows me God will be "with men" on the "new earth". So . . . there will be the new earth, Jesus will be in us, and New Jerusalem from heaven will be on the new earth. This, to me, means heaven and the new earth will be together.

Jesus of Heaven is already here in us, on this old earth (Galatians 4:19, 2 Corinthians 3:17-18). And God's love is Heaven's love already "in our hearts" > Romans 5:5 (c:
