Darlene: I understand the pain of physical therapy. I went through PT after I got rear ended in August.

Mary: Thank you, and everyone for your prayers. I'm still pretty sick with the MRSA in my sinuses.
---Trish on 5/8/13

Mary you are so welcome. I just appreciate your praying for me and everyone who has. I started physical therapy yesterday and it was pure torture. I can't raise my arm up forward or to the side and the therapist took it and forced it up both direction 10 times each way that is to try to restore use of it. When she finished she put heat on it for the pain and it helped but while she did it I had tears it hurt so bad. I remember an old adage,"no pain no gain" and in this case it is so true. The hoped for end results does justify the means. I have little tolerance to pain but with God I can do all things through Him. God Bless

Hi Darlene, thank you so much for your prayers on Trish's and my behalf, glad your arm is out of the sling too, praying for the pain to get better soon. Trish, congrats on being so close to family now, awesome! :) God bless, Mary

I am so grateful for this past weekend. Seeing my family from Pennsylvania and New York, while celebrating my grandson's first birthday, was awesome.

My grandson got his first taste of chocolate cake with chocolate frosting. He squished it with both hands, and tried to lick his fingers off, getting it all over his face, and into his hair and ears. He loved all the attention he was getting, and just kept smiling.

God is so good to me, I can't begin to express it.

I just need to give the Lord praise. This weekend my granddaughter had her third dance recital last night. Today, we are celebrating her baby brother's first birthday. So, my son and daughter-in-law flew in from New York, and my sister flew in from Pennsylvania. I am so thrilled to live here, within walking distance of my daughter and her family.

Trish and Mary I'm so sorry you both are troubled with that infection. I have had many sinus infections and my doctor told me of one lady who was troubled the same way. She finally took matters into her own hands bought a water pick for teeth and used it to wash out her sinus every day,it worked,no more infections. Any one should talk to their doctor first before trying it and never having tried it I'm not saying for anyone to do that. I'll be praying for you both and others on here too. Sling is off my arm and I will begin six weeks of physical therapy. I'm still in a lot of pain but praise God I'm better. Thank you all for prayer.

Hi, thank you Trish, I'm sorry you have it too, it's an awful disease. Your church sounds very good and God bless you for wanting to serve in the nursery. :) I'm so thankful I have such a loving husband who takes care of the hole in my chest with such tenderness. :) God bless you and your new home :)
---Mary on 4/27/13

Mary, I'm sorry you're dealing with MRSA as well. I had never heard of having it in your sinuses till the doctor told me. I've had four sinus surgeries, the most recent was in June 2012. I'm sick again, and need to call the doctor.

I'm enjoying my home, and love my new church. I've applied for membership, so that I can serve in the nursery. So few women are willing to serve, and there are some months where my daughter is in there three times, between Sunday School and church. I come from churches where the older women served there so the young Moms could be fed.

Hi Everyone,
I took a break from posting for a lot of reasons, and decided I missed all of you, and will continue posting on the What's Up Blog.

I've been sick with chronic sinus infections, and my new ENT doctor took a biopsy of my infection. Turns out I have MRSA in my sinuses. Antibiotics don't work. So, he gave me instructions on how to cleanse my sinuses with a topical antibiotic for the nose.

I also need to see a specialist for a possible ulcer.

I recently had an iron infusion, so I'm hoping to get my strength back.

I have kept up with all of you, and prayed for you.

Bro. Willie, do you believe we are close to the end times? What happen in Boston was so terrible. And what has been happening in schools and other places are also terrible. But do you think that for a country which has alot of freedom for people to go where they want, and just about do what they want, and as many evil people, mental people, gangs, terrorist, and just people going crazy, we have had but very few incidents? Thousands of people are coming into the Country each day, I figure we have been very lucky that very few incidents have happened. Here in California there is so much crime. I am surprise we do not have more violence in large amounts. What do you think?

I am thankful in April as I am all the other months. I don't deserve God being good to me. I have failed in many ways. God just keeps loving me and molding me. I am enjoying the last years of my life. I am an artist and I make jewelry also. that keeps me busy. God bless everyone.

No posts here in our "What's Up" April blog? And now it is April 18, 2013.

May be, Chria, Trish was the one to keep this going, not only the one to start it?

In Boston, there was the bombing at the Marathon location. And that has gotten a lot of attention, here. But Jesus says, "Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near." (Luke 21:28)

So, be uplifted, and do not let this evil world have power to keep us hurt and suffering and to take our attention away from God > looking up is up! (c:
