Do You Laugh Enough
Ecclesiastes 7:3 Frustration is better than laughter, because a sad face is good for the heart.
That's just what the Bible says.

Yes all the time!
I laugh at myself with others.
I love witty jokes, even if I get them 2 hours later.
I love men who throw witty jokes around without a smile and don't even care if you got the jokes or not.
They just move on to the next one.
I would finally get the 2nd joke when he is already on his 5th jokes.
Laughing is a gift from God.
I can even laugh with God about my silly planned out adventures.
I trust God to direct me and MOVE me (when I am going the wrong path) at all times.

The smile has been wiped from my face. Consider also Luke 6:25 "Woe to you who laugh now." And Isaiah 22:12-14 The Lord, the Almighty, called you on that day to weep and wail, to tear out your hair and put on sackcloth. But see, there is joy and revelry, slaughtering of cattle and killing of sheep, eating of meat and drinking of wine! "Let us eat and drink," you say, "for tomorrow we die!" The Lord Almighty has revealed this in my hearing: Till your dying day this sin will not be atoned for, says the Lord, the Lord Almighty.

I just posted something about my old senior pastor, dr Patrick McLovin but saw this and had to write about him again. Dr Mac always had a smile. He was joyful and his humor was active. He explained that joy comes from the Lord and laughter is a gift from God.

Laughter is very infectious and makes us (and others) feel good.
I laugh a lot and like to see others doing the same.

You made me smile this morning...which is halfway to a laugh and good too!
Ecc_3:4 A time to weep, and a time to laugh, a time to mourn, and a time to dance,
Luk_6:21 Blessed are ye that hunger now: for ye shall be filled. Blessed are ye that weep now: for ye shall laugh.

Laughter is very infectious and makes us (and others) feel good. There is a time for sorrow but we are told that laughter is the best medicine and, more times than not, it certainly is. Laughter releases stress and tension within us which can only be good for us. I laugh a lot and like to see others doing the same.

Yes Darlene, how true.
Two weeks ago my father was sent home on hospice.
He had us (children) laughing as we were planning his funeral last week.
He knows we are going to be crying later on after his death. But for now he is trying to help us cope with his limited time on earth.
He is one strong man with a wonderful sense of humor.
I love him dearly.

I'm glad to see y'all are laughing too. I too am a person who laughs a lot. I have wondered for a while just how healthy is laughing for people. It must be important or God wouldn't have it put in the Bible. When I'm with a friend who is down I just naturally say something to make her laugh. I know it feels better all over to laugh than worry or cry. God Bless

I rather laugh than cry.
I am with Andrea. I laugh at stuff others don't even notice.
God created laughing for a reason.

I sometimes wonder if I laugh too much. As a child and then as a young adult working in an office I was continually told that I must stop laughing so much as it distracted others. I have a good sense of humour and seem to also find humour where others don't see it. I think that is better than being thoroughly miserable all the time like some people I know. God wants us to be happy. I am serious when being serious is important.

Donna 9393 I prayed for you and wish you peace and happiness and God's providing for you with a job. If you haven't signed up with the unemployment office do so ,I don't know about other States but I know in ours they will pay for you to go to school for training for job skills. The Grants include enough money to help pay living expenses too. May God guide you. God Bless

Thank you for praying for me. I intercede on a regular basis. Pressing into Father God, Lord Jesus and Holy Spirit. I know my Redeemed lives. Found a fabulous book by David Wilkerson called Knowing God by name. Thank you. (((Huggs))))

Donna, I'm sorry to hear of your troubles. It's rfreshing to see you so close to the Lord in these times, where many would become bitter. It's through times like these that our faith is really put to the test, but James tells us in James 1 there is a glorious outcome.
I will keep you in my prayers for a job. Psalms 93 hold near to your heart.
2 Corinthians 12:9And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.

Donna 9393, you did not mention whether you are praying for those ignoring your needs, but I feel you probably are. Keep on hanging in there!

I wish I could laugh but I can't and I don't. I'm almost homeless, can't find work in 11 months. Out of money. Brothers and sisters don't really care to help, nether do local Pastors whom I've supported financially. Tomorrow is Mothers day and my 3 kids are in heaven. Family won't speak to me, yaddy, yaddy, yaddy. I Praise and Pray and Rejoice in the Lord my God. I stick close to Him for He alone is the one who cares for my soul. TO God Be the Glory. I love Him so much. I'm hanging in there.
