ALL THE ABOVE. Weather, of course, is controlled by God. But in the book of Job, when God approves of Satan putting Job's faith to the test, Satan sends a bad wind storm which destroys homes and kills all his children. Scientists/ People also influence weather by seeding clouds and causing torrential rains and floods. So all these control weather, but more God and the Prince of the Air.

Jesus said that God sends rain upon the just and unjust. Sometimes it is sufficient and moderate, and sometimes it may be a flood.

I believe my time and manner of death is appointed by God. I pray only that He Whom I cannot face as Judge will greet me as a Friend.

Glory to Jesus Christ!

Matthew 5:45 - That ye may be the children of your father which is in heaven for he : maketh his sun rise on the evil and the on the good and sendeth rain on the just and unjust,

{ Would this not go for calamity Too ! God could stop it if he wanted}

The only way a person to to be protected from Satan is to become a truly loving christian.

Steveng, Jesus told Peter Satan had requested to sift did Satan request to sift Job. And what did Jesus say to Peter? NOT your above statement. And one might research what it means to be an overcomer. Or research Jesus 40 day trial doing hand to hand combat with Satan, leaving US an example when we do hand to hand combat with Satan. Job was a loving Christian who loved his children and was loved by many. And because he was a righteous man Satan scoffed and thought he could bring Job down.
Every Christian WILL encounter Spiritual warfare, and we see James addresses HOW we overcome ...Just read James 1.

Usually weather is a natural phenomenon. Although, God has on occasion controlled it. Also, people have a small influence on some localized areas - deforestation, planting in dry areas, cloud seeding, etc.. Some people question as to whether the U.S. may have technology that can influence the climate as well. Satan was given temporary permission to attack Job, but God is ultimately in charge.

God took responsibility for what Satan did to Job.

Job 2:3 (JUB) And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my slave Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that fears God and has departed from evil and that he still retains his perfection, although thou didst incite me against him to destroy him without cause.

Job was a godly man and look what Satan did to him. Besides, the spirit of God my reside in christians, but it doesn't mean that nonchristians can't do harm to christians. As it is written that christians will be prosecuted and persecuted in the end days like they have always been. Look what's happening in the middle east where christians are being killed by ISIS. Don't believe that it can't happen in the United States. A second holocaust is comming not only jews, but christians, too. Also, will Jesus recognize christianity today when he returns?

Satan is not god over Christians, in whom the Spirit resides.

Lk 10:19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and OVER ALL THE POWER OF THE ENEMY: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Thank You, Lord!!

Satan is the god of this world and he is doing everything in his power to destroy all of God's creation. Ultimately God will have complete control, but for now Satan does. Sure, many christians will die before Jesus' return, but in the end they shall live. The only way a person to to be protected from Satan is to become a truly loving christian.

I believe that the Global UN government, along with the aid of the U.S. government, is controlling some of the weather situations through the HAARP System.

Doing so to manipulate and have control over mankind.

To either assist or deprive.

GOD allows mankind to use this System for HIS Judgment, etc.

The same with Satan and the fallen angels have the ability to manipulate weather patterns to cause destruction (The Story of Job, e.g.).

GOD allows that, too, for HIS ultimate purpose and Glory.

And, GOD Himself causes weather changes, being the Creator and all.

Ultimately, and overall, GOD is the One in control.

GOD does change and cause certain weather patterns

God won the bet! He didn't have control of Job cursing him or not. FREE WILL

If satan knew God will CONTROL Job from cursing Him why would satan take the bet?

Because satan knows God doesn't cheat and wouldn't take control of Job's will of cursing Him.

Aservant you keep running in circles.

So how is it that God took complete control?
---Nicole_Lacey on 6/20/15

God takes full responsibility for causing Job's troubles.

Job 2:3 . . . although thou movedst me against him, to destroy him without cause.

God controlled Job indirectedly. God forced Job to deal with the consequences of His permitting Satan to destroy those Job loved. Also, Job had to endure his wife's terrible, ungodly advice. Job's desire would have been to keep his children alive, keep his property intact, and to keep harmony with his wife.
---aservant on 6/20/15

Aservant read the book of Job again.
How can God control Job if satan makes a bet with God saying Job will curse Him if his surroundings are different.

God told satan to do anything but do not to kill Job or his wife.

So how is it that God took complete control?
---Nicole_Lacey on 6/20/15

God controls people. God controls Satan.

See Job 1, and 2. God prevented Satan from killing Job.

It is appointed when and how man dies - Heb 9:27.

God set that appointment, so God ultimately controls all death.

Hi, Geraldine (c: Isaiah 57:1 says

"The righteous perishes,
. And no man takes it to heart,
. Merciful men are taken away,
. While no one considers
. That the righteous is taken away from evil."

So, from this I see that God considers it a blessing for Him to take a person away from this evil world. But we can make this life a sort of an idol, so that we fear death.

But Jesus died for us in order to "release those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage." > in Hebrews 2:14-15 > which shows to me how "fear of death" is slavery to Satan.

But it is good to stay here to love and help others, as long as God desires > Philippians 1:23-24

Your OCK is showing again, dear soul.

Don't worry about this.

We should use normal prudence and common sense, and trust God for the outcome.

Glory to Jesus Christ!

Look at what Jesus said about the people killed by the falling tower of Siloam (Luke 13:1-5).

Sometimes good people die because Satan perscutes them (e.g. Christians eaten by lions). Sometimes bad people die because God punishes them (e.g. the Flood), but usually disasters kill bystanders who aren't either.
---StrongAxe on 6/16/15

Hi, Geraldine (c: I understand that God has the overall control of all things. Satan can not do anything, except if and when and how God has control.

Now, practically, people have a role. If they do not dig an escape hole in an area known to have tornados . . .

or if they do not invest money for a good dike system in New Orleans . . .

or if they live where it is known there can be a lethal flood . . .

did they obey how God would guide them in His care for them?

There are people who claim to be Christians, but they do not do what God leads them to do, and so they do not prepare well and they marry the people they do.
