Did God Create Demons
//Wrong Luke. God did not create anything sinful.---Jerry6593 on 7/17/16
Luke is right! All means all.
demons are creature just like you and me.
But, you are right when you state God doesn't create anything sinful.
Adam was not created in sin.
But due to free will Adam decided to be sinful.
Most people don't raise their children to be murders, thieves or rapists.
They become murders, thieves and rapists on their own without their parents.

The Bible refers to "sons of God". Lucifer is called also "bright morning star". The idea is that OUR MAKER made Satan so brilliant that Satan became caught up in his own splendor and considered equality with God something to be grasped and wished to be EQUAL WITH THE MOST HIGH. On this, he took a third of the angels in his rebellion. But what he became was not how God made him. Ecclesiastes 7:29 "This only have I found: God created mankind upright, but they have gone in search of many schemes."

Yes, Geraldine, God created those being who became demons but they were not demons at their creation. They chose to move away from their Creator just as many human being do now.
Satan (Lucifer) had pride of place and must have thought he was worth even more and rebelled to get it. He will, eventually, pay the ultimate price for doing so.

Wrong Luke. God did not create anything sinful. God created at least 10 million angels (10K X 10K), and 1/3 of them BECAME demons by following after Lucifer-turned-Satan, and were cast out of heaven. Read your Bible.

Good answers, Luke and micah.
Glory to Jesus Christ!

God created angels.
Some angels were corrupted.
Ford created the Mustang.
Some Mustangs aren't what they used to be.
Did Ford create the Mustang that sits in the junkyard?
Yes, in a sense, but it didn't look or act like that when it came off the assembly line.

Wrong Jerry, God created all things. All mean all.
Steven, only a few thousand demons, which were angels were held captive, not all demons you can read about them in Jude 6. We have a whole lot of them today. Demons are everywhere, but only one devil, Satan. And he is not everywhere, he does not have that capability. Only God does.
---Luke on 2/26/16|
Is 44:24 . . . I am the LORD that maketh all things . . .
Jn 1:3 All things were made by him, and without him was not any thing made that was made.
Eph 3:9 . . . who created all things by Jesus Christ:
Col 1:16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
Heb 3:4 . . . but he that built all things is God.

Did God Create Demons?
No. God created angels. One third of them became demons on their own.

Tree of knowledge of good and evil Why create that at all ? How can there be a war in Heaven if it a prefect place ?
Satan in is the God of this world ? ----------------- > Matthew 28:18
Why create evil at all -------- > Isaiah 45,7

If the demons, devils, satan, were "chained" how is it possible that the earth is full of evil, terror, sickness?.
How do you explain the following verses?
1 Timothy 4:1
1 John 3:8
Satan is still the god of this world wreaking havoc throughout. If it were not so then earth would be a paradise.
But in the end...
Revelation 12:9, 12

Geraldine, God created everything. He created the angels knowing full well how many were going to rebel against Him. God created them for that very purpose. God knows all things so that means everything was in His plan. Nothing surprises Him, because He does not learn, He know it all.
Even the fall of men, He created them knowing what they were going to do. Every detail of our lives God knows. Even the breath we take is by the will of God. We thank God everyday for giving us another day of life.
---Luke on 1/16/16|
God is the author of everything for his Sovereign Purposes that we can not understand.
All we are to do is trust him and know he is "God."
God's Sovereignty is a mystery our minds are too finite to grasp...
6 That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the Lord, and there is none else.
7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord do all these things.
---john9346 on 1/13/16|
Geraldine, demons are fallen angels.
In traditional Christian theology, with their great intelligence, the could see the consequences of their disobedience to God, and chose to rebel anyway.
Christ is baptized! In the Jordan!

"I don't understand Satan, demons, devils. Did God create them?" No, However He did create the angels that brought them forth.
"For what purpose? "The LORD has made (or ordained) everything for its purpose, even the wicked for the day of trouble", and has reserved them for the day of destruction.

///Leon Yes I agree God created everything good, clean, and pleasing in His sight but rebellion once again made humans sin and become those who were against God's way. I want to add too, God didn't create the evil that the people fell into and become those created for the day of evil, they chose that for themselves. God Bless---Darlene_1 on 1/7/16///

Darlene: Scripture says 1/3 of the angels rebelled & fell from Heaven with Lucifer. They were previously free & empowered by God to serve Him in His marvelous light. After being defeated & cast out of (banished from) Heaven, their God-given power was stripped. Their abilities became limited (bound, restricted, CHAINED) to doing only works of darkness in dark places (Lk. 8:26-39, Jn. 1, etc.).

///Leon I'm not disputing what you said but I thought you might like to see this scripture. Proverbs 16:4 The Lord has made everything for it's own purpose, even the wicked for the day of evil. Note, it doesn't say He made the day of evil. God Bless---Darlene_1 on 1/6/16///
Darlene: That's right. What Pv. 16:4 doesn't say is that the Lord made the now wicked beings to be wicked. God, being Omniscient, knew how they'd choose before the day came in which they did evil. Overall, Scripture shows God initially made His angels & we humans GOOD, but with free-wills to choose & do good or evil. Again, everything God makes is GOOD. God bless! :)
---Leon on 1/6/16|
I'd just like to add that this did not surprise God.
God had this all figured out before time began.
All for His glory and to reveal those who are His.
Satan, his rebellious crew, and those aligned with his nature have an end in the Lake of Fire.
God creates everything good.
It is sentient beings who corrupt and destroy that which is good.
---micha9344 on 1/6/16|
Leon with all respect for what you wrote about angels becoming demons but I have long wondered how that's possible when the Bible says the Fallen Angels are chained in darkness until Judgement. If they are restrained by chains how can they be lose to perform their evil? I use to think as you but when I saw that they are chained I began to wonder about it. God Bless

Geraldine: Everything God creates is good. He does not create evil. His angelic & human creatures all were made by Him with a "free-will" to choose to do good or evil.
Satan (the Adversary aka the devil) was formerly known as Lucifer the Arch Angel (spirit being) before he chose to rebel against God & was cast out (exiled) from Heaven to Earth. The former one third of the angels, who followed Lucifer in his evil rebellion against God, also fell to Earth with him & are now demons (evil spirits)
---Leon on 1/5/16|
God created everything! That means He created Satan, demons and devils. Read Revelations 12:7-9.
God created Satan as Lucifer, the highest ranking angel of all. Lucifer, however, wasnt content to worship and serve his Creator. Full of pride, he rebelled, leading a third of the angels. Unable to match the Almighty God, Lucifer was cast to the earth where he has operated as the devil ever since.
Pray for me,
the unworthy monk Brendan

I assume He created them, since he is the only Creator.
---john1944 on 1/5/16|
If someone uses drugs, then drugs are THEIR "demon". If a person does wrong things ("evil"), then they are doing things "SATANICALLY".
Don't misunderstand, there really is an ENEMY OF CREATION, but you can only be misguided/influenced "satanically" if you are cooperative (your choice).
Today, the word "EVIL" actually means 'MAN"S WAY' (as opposed to the Creator's way).
