Every prayer prayed in faith, every prayer that is according to God's will, every prayer that is prayed in Jesus name. Every prayer request made with thanksgiving unto God, every prayer by the leading of the Holy Spirit, every prayer that includes forgiveness of others.
---Ianns on 11/30/19

Steveng, when it comes to healing...who needs the faith, the one doing the healing or the one receiving the healing?

Also will you share with us healing you have done greater than Jesus Christ. Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead....and you say you have topped this? How? Mike asked for prayer God has honored you is the chance to tell us all those you have healed or raised from the dead, or even greater than that...where God has honored you.
---kathr4453 on 2/22/17

A cut on the finger will heal over time in the world, but God's healing is instantaneous. All of Jesus' healings were instantaneous. Him bringing people back to life was instantaneous. If God could create the entire universe in six days, he surely could heal a cut finger instantaneously.

Christians have the same power of miracles, even of healing - even more than Jesus. If one prays, without the smallest of doubt, it will come to pass. Unfortunately, love has practically evaporated from the earth and doubt is a reason the current falling away from the faith.

Faith is the healing power. Remember: your faith has healed you.

It seems that many christians have the knowledge of God, but deny his power.

"Your ways are not our ways." THAT'S FOR SURE!

Thanks for a kind prayer, kathr. The Lord grant it.
---mike4879 on 2/17/17

Heavenly Father, your ways are not our ways, and what you hope to accomplish in our lives while we are here takes our total trust, even if we don't understand or feel that love. My prayer is that you will give to my brother in Christ a peace that passes all understanding, which is the greatest answered prayer EVER. That you will reveal in some small way that you want everything to be for our good, and not to destroy us or our hopes and dreams. But that you want us to see YOUR Hopes and dreams you have for us , far beyond our human imagination. That Mike will just enter into your rest, because he so needs that rest. The rest of the soul.

This I pray in Jesus name

Would anyone else like to amen this prayer for Mike?
---kathr4453 on 2/16/17

Say what you want kathr. NO MATTER! Whatever I write, you are on a different page. One can review my answers through this blog. One ONLY PRAYS, THY WILL BE DONE, THEN ALL OF ONE'S PRAYERS ARE HONORED. I requested other than Give us this day our daily bread and Thy will be done, what prayers has God HONORED/GRANTED for you? I thank you for sharing what God has done for you which is something like being caught up in the 7th heaven and too awesome for you to share and may be God has given you a thorn in your flesh to keep you from boasting and becoming proud from such a magnificent gift. And so you keep this a secret so that none may be jealous. But for how you answer, If I stop writing on these blogs, you will be one of the reasons.
---mike4879 on 2/16/17

Pamela, welcome to christianet. I totally agree with your answer. I'm having a difficult time answering this question, because it has to be honored prayer or granted prayer that is "NOT according to His will" or "give us this day". I could state all sorts of answered prayer, but again, it must have been according to His will. Actually often times prayer changed me, not Gods mind. I would not dare say I am so special that I was granted something that was not Gods will. Or that I could bend the will of God.

I know Mike thinks I'm being difficult, but actually his question the way he wants it answered is difficult. Even Luke health and healing was according to Gods will.
---kathr4453 on 2/16/17

YES, Mark_Eaton, it is offensive when one invests the time to reply, then the reply is not posted. It seems a waste of time. When one's efforts are not posted, it gives a "why bother?" message. I am passing time while hibernating through the cold season. Come warm days, I hope for better things to do. Meanwhile, I am on these blogs reading the thoughts, opinions, and views of others, and their questions and challenges and their Bible knowledge. Like you, when I invest my time and go to the effort in being a part of a blog, I like to see the words posted. It is among my smaller upsets when they are not. For me, other matters of life have had much greater magnitude. And to me, the site is much like church.
---mike4879 on 2/16/17

Hi Im new to this site, but just think that prayers being answered is like a garden. Ill explain. Some weeds in a garden are small and come up quickly whereas others their roots go down a very long way. Some prayers get answered quickly, but others I think the Holy Sirit is gently removing the rubble and hardened earth to be able to get that harmful root up out of the soil. Prayers too sometimes need a time to be worked through. So we need to be patient and trust that God always has the best in His heart for our lives, and will not deny us those things which He knows is right for our lives and spiritual growth and service to Him. Just thoughts.
---Pamela on 2/16/17

Well, there it is! Kathr, early on you asked if I meant "Did you get what you ask for?" and I answered yes. Because you continue to have difficulty with this choice of word (an "H" word), I will select another word: "GRANTED". Other than Give us this day our daily bread and Thy will be done, what significant request has God "GRANTED" in response to your prayer? If God granted you grace to except singleness, GREAT! You pray for grace and God has given you grace. GREAT! God has GRANTED you grace and sufficiency, WONDERFUL! That is what you pray, SPLENDID! Therein, God GRANTED what you request. Is that not easy to share? ...a prayer (significant to you) which God GRANTED what you prayed?
---mike4879 on 2/16/17

Thank you Luke for sharing that, and thank you Pharisee. These were the kinds of answers that I hope for. Thank you kathr for sharing what God has done for you.
---mike4879 on 2/16/17

God answers our prayers. All answered prayer is prayer honored. Sometimes the best answer is NO, because we foolishly don't know what we are asking, that may be horrible down the road. Sometimes the best answer is WAIT, because now is not the time. And sometimes the answer is yes.
---kathr4453 on 2/16/17

God is always answering prayers. If you do not wish to share prayer requests that God has honored, that is up to you. This blog is about prayers that have been honored, and you are changing the blog with a multitude of words on anything other than any prayer honored by God. All you provide in your self-righteous spiritualism is ring-around answers to this legitimate invitation to invite readers to share prayer requests that God has honored. You are not answering the invitation of the blog.
---mike4879 on 2/16/17

Mike, since you have stated that God has not answered any of your prayers, or something to that effect, also sounding somewhat bitter with many of your comments, I suspect maybe folks are reserved in sharing such an intimate thing here. At least I feel that way Mike. You have made snide remarks to almost every post I have made on several subjects. Why would I open myself up to a snide remark regarding God honoring prayer?

Mark_Eaton, my apologies. I will try not to overwhelm with my posts. I know I do get long winded.
---kathr4453 on 2/15/17

Not many prayers are being shared that God has honored. Instead, there is more ring-around.

Other than "Give us this day our daily bread," and "THY will be done," what prayers has God HONORED?
---mike4879 on 2/15/17

you need to go back and read what I wrote.
---kathr4453 on 2/14/17

I do Kathr. I read every post you write.

Unfortunately, you write three or four posts in response to every one that I write. I must confess this has angered me at times and I have suspected that you are a moderator. For me, the system simply won't let me post on the frequency you can.

So, I cannot respond to every post you write. I summarize what you have said and respond to your posts as a group.

However, this has caused me to miss some specifics in your posts. For that, I will try to be more specific and respond to a single post at a time.

But, I would ask that you try to post less responses to me. I cannot respond to them all.

Jesus said, if you have seen me, you have seen the Father. Jesus left heaven and was made flesh not only to die for our sin, but to be an example to us in what is is to have a relationship with the Father. Jesus was not some separate entity doing His own will, while the Father was over there doing His, and the Holy Spirit was somewhere else doing His. If that is what one thinks, then even their understanding of the Triune God is discombobulated. Jesus came to do the Will of God, the Will of the FATHER. And if one wants to KNOW the FATHER, it appears in scripture we follow in the steps of Jesus, that is so clearly taught. Romans 12:1-2
How can anyone KNOW The FATHER if they don't first KNOW His WILL.
---kathr4453 on 2/15/17

Mark, you are so right!

Jesus became Man to teach us we can trust The Father no matter what happens in life.

Jesus trusted His Father to raise Him from the grave.

So as we must Trust God in all things during life and esp. AFTER death.

No one obeys anyone they do not trust.

Adam and Eve didn't trust God enough to Obey the ONLY 'no not' command giving them.

Trust has be established FIRST before Faith can be obtained and kept.
---Nicole_Lacey on 2/14/17

What can be more important than knowing God? Is our first commandment to live a crucified life or to love God? How can you love someone you don't know?////

Mark_E, you need to go back and read what I wrote. You CAN'T love God if you don't KNOW HIM. Why do you think Jesus died and rose Again? Answer..SO THAT WE CAN ONCE AGAIN KNOW HIM...that is The Father. It was ALL Done for the purpose of KNOWING the Father.

If your not crucified with Christ Mark_Eaton, you will never KNOW The Father. If you say you do, then you are saying there are more ways to the Father and have thrown Jesus..the Only way, under the Bus. I can read and know everything there is to know about F. Scott Fitzgerald, but that is not the same as KNOWING HIM.
---kathr4453 on 2/14/17

our Father also wants us to trust Him even when we sin unlike Adam an Eve...
---Nicole_Lacey on 2/13/17

You are correct.

But Adam and Eve went from walking with God to hiding in the bushes instantly. How easily they could be convinced of God not being who He said He was!

I know its even easier today. As many know, I am a 12 Stepper and I work with many men who are pastors, elders, seminary students, Christian men who do not fully trust God. Many think they do but find out when confronted by a stronghold in their life, that their trust in God is faulty.

To me, faith in God is inadequate. Trust is a must.

So when some poo poo the crucified life and say that KNOWING THE FATHER is more important
---kathr4453 on 2/13/17

What can be more important than knowing God? Is our first commandment to live a crucified life or to love God? How can you love someone you don't know?

And the "know" in John 17:3 is experiential knowledge, not intellectual knowledge. This takes daily communication, daily interaction.

Why do people not trust God? Because they do not know the Father. Jesus we know and can relate to. But that Father guy, we cannot trust Him. Look at His character in the OT! Wow, what an angry, vengeful, and wrathful God!

This is why knowing the Father is so important, to fully trust God.
---Mark_Eaton on 2/14/17

The essence of Mark_Eaton's hearts desire is Ephesians 3:14-21. AKA The MYSTERY Jesus revealed to Paul, this Mystery Jesus prayed in John 17. This MYSTERY not revealed in the OT, or the Lords Prayer. The Kingdom on earth was no secret or mystery kept hidden until Jesus rose from the dead. The prayer Jesus prayed in John 17 is so different than the Lords Prayer. Jesus says in John 17, that where He is so,are we. Well, Where HE IS is seated at the right hand of the Father. A d states:, I IN THEM and Thou in me that we may be ONE. This is not what the Lord's Prayer is about. It's what Colossians 3:1-4 is about, again many scoff at. We have been translated into the Kingdom of His Dear Son, Jesus, where..MY KINGDOM is not of this world.
---kathr4453 on 2/13/17

Eph 3:14 For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man, That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, length, depth, height, And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God. Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, ---- Amen.
---kathr4453 on 2/13/17

Well Nicole, the prayer Jesus prayed in John 17 is what Pauls prayer is about concerning US, in Ephesians 3:14-21 and what Gods will is concerning US, and in John 17 Jesus clearly states THIS is how one comes to know the Father in the fullness. So when some poo poo the crucified life and say that KNOWING THE FATHER is more important, it confuses me because no one can KNOW the Father except THROUGH the Son...and that IS being Crucified with Christ first so one CAN come to know the Father. & #128522,

God has answered many of my prayers. I always ask for His will to be done.
My latest prayer happened I was having much trouble breathing, and it got to the point that one morning I passed out and my wife called the EMT's. At the hospital I had a breathing tube when I woke up. I spend 1 month in the hospital and after that I had to use an oxygen mask. I prayed one night and ask God for help. To please help me, that I needed Him so bad.
The next day after my prayer, After taking Lasix for two days I could breath again. I have been off oxygen for five months now. I do not need to carry the small tank anymore. Praise Almighty God. I thank Him so much.
I had fluid in my lungs.

Mark, our Father also wants us to trust Him even when we sin unlike Adam an Eve.

No sin is greater than His Mercy
---Nicole_Lacey on 2/13/17

It's the ONLY prayer giving by Jesus in the Bible.
---Nicole_Lacey on 2/11/17

Jesus, who is the Word of God, uses words to teach and this prayer is a great example. The first words of the prayer are so simple but so profound. Perhaps, the most profound words in the Bible.

"Our Father" tells us that not only is the Father, the Father of Jesus, but the Father is also our father.

Oh, that we could all get an understanding that He is our FATHER. A loving Father, who will work all things for our good. A Father that is not disappointed in us. A Father who does not require us to perform for Him. A Father who still loves us even when we fail Him. And a Father who will never stop trying to show His love to us.
---Mark_Eaton on 2/13/17

Steveng, I know many pray that prayer. But we need to discern the kingdoms. Colossians 1:13 say we have been translated out of this present evil world into the Kingdom of His Dear Son. I also see .."the Kingdom of God is within you.". And then the Kingdom that will be on earth for 1000 years. And then the final judgement.

The kingdom that is to come on earth will be implemented after the great tribulation, Zechariah 12-14, Matthew 24-25, where only 1/3 of the population will come through. The Church will be translated out to meet the Lord in the clouds.

I feel I need to pray for souls to be saved, before the wrath of God comes.

kathr4453 wrote: "I don't pray for the Kingdom to come on earth."

Why not? Christians are suppose to, for it is written in the prayer example and written to seek first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness.

The shape the world is in now christians are praying for the kingdom to come now. They're asking God not to delay. What's wrong with praying for his return quickly?
---Steveng on 2/12/17

Nicole, suggesting someone could be in sin and why God has not blessed them is not for me to even entertain. Therefore, I don't second guess God by wondering if that is why. Actually you are the one second guessing, because you don't know and are guessing. Jesus gave the Lord's Prayer to the Jews before the cross. No,one in the OT prayed in Jesus name "We" pray to God through Jesus Jesus name, just as Jesus instructed in John.

I don't pray for the Kingdom to come on earth. I don't believe in the Kingdom NOW theology. Those who do use today Kingdom Law which is not Grace. That will be when the 1000 year reign will be on earth. It will be ruled with an iron fist. I pray for people's salvation RIGHT NOW.
---kathr4453 on 2/11/17

The most profound was when I prayed for my Granny and her bone Cancer went away.

What I love most is when you get to speak prophetically, once when I was a canvasser my supervisor was an atheist and often ridiculed me for my faith. Last to get dropped off he said "your turn to get wet." (it was pouring rain) I said "I won't get wet." and he laughed. Everywhere I went that night it was pouring rain all around me but on me not one droplet fell. It misted all around where I was all night. As I got back in the van the floodgates opened and two of us went home dry that night. :D

//I personally don't pray the Lord's Prayer. That prayer is not a prayer in Jesus name, for one,//

It's the ONLY prayer giving my Jesus in the Bible.

That's why it's called the 'The Lord's Prayer'.

He is the Author. No one else.

What are you saying?

//I were to say something here that God answered for me, but someone else did not get, would I not sound like I was boasting? Would that not cause hurt to another?--Kathr

No because you don't know the soul of the person.

God is God you are not.

That other person may be in a sinful state and God chose not to bless that person.

How can you second-guess God?

Can't you publicly thank God?
---Nicole_Lacey on 2/11/17

Mike, no one is criticizing you, but it seemed you were criticizing others answers. Thanks for showing what you meant. Wasn't sure if this was going the Benny Hinn way....I pray for a Jag and WOW God honored me with a Jag....kinda thing.

Children are a wonderful gift from God. I have one of each, and now two grandsons.

But with all this rejoicing over this, im still Cautious and mindful that so many do ask for children and can't have children. And many of those people think that God loves them less than maybe you or me. I am very sensitive to others feelings, and KNOW it has nothing to do with them or sin or not being loved or not having prayers answered. Some things just are not Gods will for everyone. PEACE.
---kathr4453 on 2/11/17

Is life not more than food and the body more than clothes? I invite others to share a significant thing God has done for them as people are encouraged to pray and we are told "Ask and you will receive." Instead, I get ring-around answers and I get criticized for my blog, and NO ONE says one prayer that God has honored for them. I have two children. They are my favorite people in the world. For these I thank God for I wanted children. I will welcome a hundred, but I have two. Two are sufficient in this evil world. Other than this, I have no good track record in honored prayers.
---mike4879 on 2/11/17

Mike, I personally don't pray the Lord's Prayer. That prayer is not a prayer in Jesus name, for one, and my sins are forgiven based on the finished works of Christ, not based on conditions from day to day.

Secondly, I guess it also depends on what you think prayer is for? And when you say HONORING, do you mean public honoring? Or private honoring?

To me prayer is so personal, and if I were to say something here that God answered for me, but someone else did not get, would I not sound like I was boasting? Would that not cause hurt to another?

Give us an example of you being HONORED by something you asked, that you know clearly was NOT Gods will before criticizing or mocking someone else's answer.

You ONLY pray "Thy will be done," then I guess God surely honors all of your prayers.
---mike4879 on 2/11/17

Yes, I do mean: Did you get what you ask for in prayer from God?

Other than "Give us this day our daily bread," what prayers has God HONORED FOR YOU? What SIGNIFICANT requests has he HONORED?
---mike4879 on 2/11/17

Mike, what exactly do you mean by God HONORING prayer. Do you mean, did we get what we asked for?

Prayer does not HONOR us, but it HONORS God. I could be the recipient of someone else's prayer for me. God answers prayer. And all prayer should be honorable.

Now do you mean something like....has God exalted you above your enemies. Or did someone fall into the pit they dug for you? Is that what you mean by honoring? Well, the answer to,that is.....if we pray evil against our enemies, God will not answer that. If we put our trust in God when we are persecuted and don't curse our enemies, yes God WILL honor those who do.

I see, this has been here for a while.

Well, when we pray according to the will of God, God will always honor His will.

I will say one prayer according to His Will is Psalms 91 is absolutely true. But the problem is, not everyone KNOWS where that secret place is or even what that secret place is all about. And verse 15 is where Honor comes and who it comes from, and it is grounded in verse 14.
---kathr4453 on 2/10/17

Not many are answering this one.
---mike4879 on 2/4/17

Consciously I can not think of any. However I am sure that there are some that I am not aware of, that has been honored through His Spirit as He made intercession for me. Provisions made when I didn't know how to pray as I should. A way made when I thought there was no way. Request made by groans, answered through blessing that I've written off as good fortune or luck. All praise to the Father for His unseen guidance and provisions.
