Prayer For Our Parish

My prayer for our parish is that we become a haven of healing for the hurting, uplift for the downtrodden, and a a beacon for those searhing for the truth--but that we NEVER become fashionable.

That we become conformed to the image of Jesus, while learning how to love with one another and have compassion and good example for ones who need Christ.

And I need to seek our Heavenly Father for the correction which His word guarantees to us who are His children > Hebrews 12:4-11.

About not being fashionable > our Apostle Paul does say he became "all things to all men" so he could save some > 1 Corinthians 9:19-23. So, I see, Cluny, how Paul would relate with people at their level, not self-righteously make himself look and act totally different > 2 Corinthians 10:12.
