Prayer For Reconcilation

I am grieved by how haz and kathr are treating each other on these blogs..

I'm praying that they be reconciled and freed of their burden of mutual hatred..

All who have started doing so join me in this intention.

Russia, Hungary, and other (communist) countries in Eastern Europe wouldn't have had prayer in school under communism, at least not until the fall of the Iron Curtain, but since the results were the same both before and after prayer in schools, it makes it difficult to understand how prayer in schools could have been a factor.

The triggers for mass shootings aren't lack of prayer, but hopelessness. There have also been incidents in the past where prayer was allowed (and even mandated) but it wasn't working, and people had no hope, so they said "ENOUGH!". The French Revolution was a perfect example of this.

Correlation doesn't imply causation. You can't infer that legalized abortion is responsible for mass school shootings just because one happened after the other, because one can make similar false cause-and-effect conclusions that are just as dubious.

School shootings are Nixon's fault, because they all happened after Nixon was elected?
Water is a poison, because everyone who drinks water eventually dies?
Piracy keeps the earth cool, because global warming has happened only since the decline of piracy (etc. etc.)?

Denmark has legal abortions. No school shootings. Japan has no prayer in schools. No school shootings.

KATHR: How many schools around the world have Christian prayer in schools that don't have mass school shootings?//

Portugal, Russia, Poland, Hungry and other Countries in East Europe. Central and South America Countries with Christian prayers in Schools

Your point?

//And is abortion an exclusively American issue? So what countries who have legalized abortion and no prayer in school have mass shootings?//

First of all we CAN'T apply my theory to another Countries unless you can NAME a Country with the SAME 2nd Amendment as ours?

Name that Country?

Only America allows personal gun ownership without a single school mass shooting incident UNTIL abortion was made legal and prayer stopped in schools.

Kathr: So, Nicole's 1st post to her question set the tone.//

1. I haven't even post anything in this blog.

2. Cluny's prayer is you and Haz. So WHY did you bring me into this subject?

Cluny wasn't praying for me.

He might BELIEVE I have been hateful on CN but he isn't praying for me.

Why can't you accept people's prayers?

I am not afraid to say 'SORRY'.

There are MANY posts of me saying sorry to people FIRST!

This is about YOU not me.

Anywho, Cluny if you want to pray for me, I would love it. Because I know I am a SINNER and said hateful things on CN!

I am not proud of that fact.

Kathr, I know my sins, why don't you FOCUS on yours own SINS for once?
---Nicole_Lacey on 5/26/18

Since I'm the person at hand here, I'm not presuming I don't hate HAZ....I KNOW I do not hate HAZ. YOU however presumed I do....and you are wrong.
---kathr4453 on 5/25/18

==Cluny, presumptuousness is a sin..did you know that? ==

But yours is not?

Glory to Jesus Christ!

Cluny, presumptuousness is a sin..did you know that? If testy discussions bother you, then please move on to a thread you feel more comfortable with.

There is no mutual hatred Cluny. the HATE question was first introduced by Nicole.

Haz27 has verbally assaulted many here with his hate speech calling everyone neo nazi, lefty Marxists bla bla blas for quite sometime.....and YOU kept silent......Now you are grieved because I rebuked Haz27 for his hate speech and said as Christians we live by a higher law. He again accused me of being a liberal lefty Marxist for saying that too...and YOU kept silent again. Everyone (except Strongaxe) kept silent...showing more of a form of HATE than anything I know.
---kathr4453 on 5/24/18

Speaking hatefully to others is a sin. Since it spreads hate not love. But it is not illegal.

On the other hand a place does not have to help spread hate. The KKK tried to murder my Grandparents.

Hitler murdered 12 million people. So I am opposed to those who support murders.

Christians love others. That is a central commandment in the entire Bible.
---Samuelbb7 on 5/24/18

There was a study among college kids that 25% believed the 1st Amendment does not apply to hate speech.

They are being brainwashed into thinking it is right to give up their rights.
---Nicole_Lacey on 5/13/18

People really need to read ALL of a thread to get the jest of the conversation. Jumping in in the middle is always a bad idea for those who don't understand the conversation, and then JUDGE. And these very same who say thou shall nit JUDGE, are the worse when it cones to JUDGING...WRONGLY JUDGING.

So, Nicole's 1st post to her question set the tone.

\\First of all, what you did Cluny is a SIN. We've all come across the woman who loves to gossip and hide behind a false reason.\\

Which, of course, you never do, do you?

ARe you saying you LOVE Haz?

He's a man, btw.

And just how is praying for reconciliation between two people a sin? Please explain.

Glory to Jesus Christ!
---Cluny on 5/24/18

First of all, what you did Cluny is a SIN. We've all come across the woman who loves to gossip and hide behind a false reason.

I believe we were hashing out free speech. To accuse of hate is not only a lie, but breaks all kinds of thou shall not's on your end, not to mention a self righteous attitude.
---kathr4453 on 5/24/18

It is sad that we who are Christians lack love and caring for others. Let us keep our eyes on Jesus. He loved those who hung him on a cross.

Can we not love those who we just disagree with?
---Samuelbb7 on 5/24/18

I am grieved by how...are treating each other on these blogs..
---Cluny on 5/15/18

I too am saddened by it.

These are family discussions. We here, are children of God. Our Father is grieved by our actions in these blogs.

Our God show us how reconciliation works. We must be grieved enough of the plight of the other person (perhaps caused by our actions) before we are willing to sacrifice ourselves for them. And we must sacrifice first showing our intention for reconciliation.

My prayer is that God shows us the hatred and lack of forgiveness we have in our hearts, and the damage our words can do to other people.
---Mark_Eaton on 5/24/18

Our hope lies in our heavenly position reigning forever with Christ. Meanwhile, we are left on earth to represent the exiled Lord and the message of his reconciliation to a world that has rejected God.
