There is no such thing lol

No it means he or she has a digestion problem.

I am sure he or she burps in front of other people as well.

If you are worried, make the sign of the cross.

Touch your forehead then between your breast bone back up to your left shoulder (Orthodox right shoulder first) and right shoulder.

Say In the name of the Father (forehead) and the Son (between breasts)
and the Holy (left shoulder) Spirit (right shoulder)

Amen

No Christians can be possessed by demons. Those who live for Satan can be.

Patrice a couple things:

1. No one is possessed by demons in our world today, oppressed but never possessed.

2. As a Christian your number 1 priority needs to be witnessing/sharing the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ with this person...

3. Have you had a talk with this person to see if they have some type of Health Issue?

I ate a piece of spanakopita this afternoon, and burped within an hour afterwards.

Was this spanakopita possessed by a demon?

(Steveng, burp demons are the least of spiritual issues that should concern you.)

It's also possible that Patrice stinks. Sorry if that offends, but it may be so. Some women wear perfume in place of bathing, and it's enough to make a maggot gag. Or they keep wearing old perfume without bathing the next morning. After a few hours perfume can get rancid. See this all the time in the workplace. Men too who wear cologne above and beyond the norm.

Yes it can cause others around to react.

Patrice, where did you get the idea that you're the only one this person burps around?

Little Harsh Monk. But your point is correct.
---Samuelbb7 on 10/11/18

Is this THAT important? Maybe the person has gas. There are people dying and going to hell for lack of the Gospel, and you're worried because a person is burping? At YOU?

You are not that important!
---Monk_Brendan on 10/11/18

Exactly what would be the point of burping? Sounds like very tame non threatening demons., who sound more like jr high boys acting out in class. ......which I doubt there are any of those. Or maybe when the world comes to an end it will end with one big loud obnoxious belch, where they are now practicing for that day.
---kathr4453 on 10/5/18

I'm wondering why burping demons are even an issue with anybody.

\\Do you have the mind of Satan?\\

I don't know about you, Steveng, but Christians have the mind of Christ.

Rule of thumb to see if a given illness is caused by demons: Try all medical means to cure the sickness first.

cluny wrote: "Demons are real, but they don't make peoiple burp."

How do you absolutely, positively know this for sure? Do you have the mind of Satan? Satan causes all sorts of sicknesses as witnessed in the bible.

Jobs sicknesses changed his physical appearance that even his friends were not able to recognize him. Job 2:12
---Steveng on 10/4/18

I'm certainly spiritually inferior to just about everybody. So that's a good thing?
---Johnny74 on 10/3/18

Demons are real, but they don't make peoiple burp.

Their most subtle work is to make people think they are more spiritually superior than they really are.

You find examples of this in these blogs.

Perhaps demons are just metaphors.

How do you know it IS a demon, Steveng?

Give your evidence about something you have not actually seen for yourself.

Besides, Job was never demon possessed, as you mistakenly posted.

Steveng:

Just because demons CAN do all kinds of bad things doesn't mean that ALL bad things ARE done by demons. Assuming they are NECESSARILY caused by demons is assuming way too much. Nowhere in the Bible does it say that all bad things are caused by demons.

I don't absolutely know it isn't - but by the same logic, you can't absolutely know it is, either.

There's a principle in logic called "Occam's Razor" - the simplest explanation is most likely to be true. When I find a puddle on the kitchen floor, it's more likely an ice cube fell out of the fridge than aliens teleported a piece of Saturn's rings into my kitchen. When someone burps, it's more likely they ate beans than they are demon possessed.
---StrongAxe on 10/3/18

Strongaxe, you assume way too much. Besides, every bad this is caused by demons. Read the book of Job and other demon possessed persons.

The major reason Satan and his demons use such antics is to destroy God's creation, to prevent others from hearing or speaking the truth. The entire bible is witness to this.

So, how do you absolutely, positively know, in this particular case, it wasn't a demon? How do you know that the demon inside the burping person is disgusted with a godly person walking by?

The only thing to do is pray for that person or get someone to de-possess this person.

As an added note: You falsely accuse me of being "paranoid" and "being ruled by fear." I fear no one, but God...
---Stevengg on 10/3/18

Yes, I looked it up. 12 years ago it was the Lemon Demon.

Steveng:

You wrote: How do you absolutely, positively know for sure it wasn't a demon?

Nobody can be absolutely positively sure about the causes for ANYTHING, but if you just assume that some mysterious unexplained event automatically is caused by demons, you're paranoid and being ruled by fear. In contrast, Christians are not to have a spirit of fear.

If you burp and the first thing you suspect is a demon, there might be a demon there, but it isn't in the burp - it's in your fear-dominated thinking.

(Wasn't there another question like this on these blogs years ago?)

Doubtful. Some try to make every thing about demons.
---Samuelbb7 on 10/2/18

No it is not a demon. There would be no purpose for a demon to do such a thing. It may be that someone is kidding with you.

I predict that there will be far more questions directed to you than speculative answers.

Some specific details from you would be very helpful.

You can't be serious.
---Johnny74 on 10/2/18

This is one of the silliest questions here I've seen.

Where did you get such an idea?

How about the Holy Spirit is burping because you're not where you should be spiritually? That makes as much sense.

Glory to Jesus Christ!
