Is Evangelism Important

Evangelism is one of the GIFTS given to the Church ( Ephesians 4) yet the ORTHODOX do not believe in Evangelism.

I know that the Antiochian Orthodox Church does a lot of evangelization. I have run into those guys.

Apostolic succession practiced in the Orthodox churches is what opposes the Gifts God has given to the BOC, His Church...not the earthly church of RCC, Orthodox ect. The Orthodox or RCC do not believe in these Gifts as the Gifts alone are AUTHORITY GOD GIVES personally, and not voted on by man or decided by man.

Their only authority are their Bishops or Popes....electing themselves and trying to make you believe it's God ordained....yet no scripture backs up such a thing.

The early Church had MANY bishops or pastors ...and LOOK Ephesians 4 says that is one of the GIFTS GID GIVES ...and NOT BY SUCCESSION.

Looking more and more like a CULT.

Here is where the TRUE CHURCH AKA THE BOC , EXPOSES Orthodox and RCC succession. These verses refute their cultish practices. The Lord gives EVERY CHRISTIAN a GIFT, to use WITH AUTHORITY, no matter who you are, where you live, whether you are a man or woman. Please know yours and use it WITH AUTHORITY, and don't let any bully try to stop you.

Ephesians 410 He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.) 11 And he gave some, apostles, and some, prophets, and some, evangelists, and some, pastors and teachers,12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

Cluny you wouldnt recognize one of these GIFTS of it hit you over the head. So you argue at every turn against evangelism. It appears its YOU who doesn't know the difference.

Once more, kathr lies about Orthodoxy.

Apparently, kathr has never heard of the Russian Orthodox evangelization of Alaska.

There is, however, a difference between evangelization and merely proselytizing other Christians. This is a distinction that must miss her.

Glory to Jesus Christ!
