As I was pondering my years long discussion with legalists here, I believe the vast difference between our beliefs is the ORDER in which one lives their Christian life. I am a huge believer in COVENANT PROMISES, and know God deals with man through His Covenant Promises. There are several pertaining to those already saved. Hebrews 13:20-21, 2 Cor 3, the BETTER PROMISES Hebrews 8:7-12. ROMANS 8:35-39. All these are GOD WORKING IN US TO WILL AND TO DO. The difference is, these promises are given to those who are IN CHRIST. Not those NOT IN CHRIST.

It occurred to me, having posted these over the years , is actually the core of the legalists /pharisee's objections.
