Scriptures Of The Early Church
Along with what wivv has said > each Christian was included in being >

"the epistle of Christ" > see 2 Corinthians 3:1-3.

And Paul says how ones became "examples" > see 1 Thessalonians 1:7. We were "examples" of what God's word really means (c:, including,

"with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love." (Ephesians 4:2)

"And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you." (Ephesians 4:32)

We have experienced how God in His love "in our hearts" (Romans 5:5) has lovingly forgiven us. Our Teacher demonstrates what His word means . . . in us! (c:

How Did Angels Rebel
Hi, Holly (c: God bless you (c:

I don't know of anything in the Bible that says angels have no free will.

I think free will can be an idol, of ones who want to think we have control. Control can be an idol.

How can we serve God, though, with no free will ? ? ? ?

But as God changes us to be like Jesus, Jesus can not sin. But He is free in His will, to love. So, we need a free will like in Jesus, not like in the fallen angels.

A point is that angels could fall. So, what good, really, was their free will? And if they could fall, how can we do any better, unless Jesus shares His way of freedom with us, in His love.

Did Paul Replace Judas
Hi, Micha (c: God bless you (c:

In the book of Acts, in chapter one, you can see who was the replacement for the Judas who betrayed Jesus.

So, Paul was not the replacement for Judas. Acts chapter nine tells us about Paul becoming an apostle. But Jesus chose Paul to minister the Gospel to us Gentiles (Galatians 2:7-10). This was after they replaced Judas, so they already had twelve apostles.

Paul is number thirteen (c: So, we can see why maybe Satan hates the number thirteen.

How Was Christianity Maintained
There have always been Jesus Christ's gentle and humble and obedient people. And we have had qualified leaders, according to the standards given by our Apostle Paul, in 1 Timothy 3:1-10.

"nor as being lords over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock." (1 Peter 5:3)

These have been "examples" > people we can know personally so we can feed on their example in real life. We have not depended only on public show and say-so of ones we do not even know.

Brother Sister In Christ
Jesus' "sheep" can tell the difference, Karen. A sheep can smell who is a real pastor, and who is a wolf in pastor's clothing. John 10:1-30

Every child of God, not only our leaders, has the "fragrance of Christ" >

2 Corinthians 2:14-17

Ephesians 5:2

Our Heavenly Father, then, can tell > He can smell if we obey how He says to love >

"And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma." (Ephesians 5:2)

Mix Of Grace Law Or
Jesus died on the cross for our sins. And Jesus rose from the dead on the third day. And now Jesus is Lord of all.

We have been reconciled to God by the death of Jesus on the cross. And now > "we shall be saved by His life," our Apostle Paul says in Romans 5:10. He does not say we already have been saved, but "we shall be saved by His life."

So, even though we have trusted in Jesus so we have gotten started in our salvation, "we shall be saved by His life." I think this means the life of His love in us making us more and more like Jesus > Romans 5:5, 1 John 4:17.

And works in this love can exercise our character to become stronger in how Jesus is.

New Covenant With Israel
Jerry, I think the New Covenant was made with the Jews who obeyed Jesus.

Christ Baptist Church
Monk, there are more for you to discover. You might look in a yellow pages listing or on the Net.

Not all Protestants are busy with criticizing what names Catholic parishes use. Episcopal churches can very frequently use names of their saints.

But others use things like "Faith", "Bible", "Victory", "Overcomers", "Grace Gospel", "New Hope", and various others.

By the way, I call myself "com7fy8" (c: including comfy in this name, because Hebrews 13:5 says, "be content with such things as you have" and God's love makes us unconditionally content.

Non Biblical Manger Scenes
In any case, we need to make sure there is nothing mangy in us. But in us we need to be the nativity scene of Jesus, by loving and caring the way God wants >

"And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you." (Ephesians 4:32)

I remember that the three magi came from a distance, and arrived a while after Jesus was born. But, in their hearts they would desire to be present at the nativity. So, spiritually they could be present . . . like how we can be there, by imagining being there and wishing we could have been there (c:

We can be with Jesus by loving the way Jesus was loving us by coming to this earth. So, thank You, Jesus, and happy birthday ! ! !

Going To Purgatory
Hebrews 12:4-11 shows how we now can get our Heavenly Father's correction. So, purgatory can be a doctrine of procrastination to what will not happen, instead of getting the real correction which we can get now. Because God is able to do the real correction we need, in this life.

We need to actively seek God, then, for His correction. And >

"Do all things without complaining and disputing, that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation" (in Philippians 2:14-16) . . .

not later after we die, but right "in the midst of" this selfish world's "crooked and perverse generation".

With God, this is possible now (c:

Is Christmas Pagan
Using a so-called pagan day for a good purpose is not pagan.

But it is pagan to claim any day to belong to Satan and his kingdom!!!!

Because every day belongs to Jesus, for His purpose, because Jesus Christ is the Lord of all.

And what was meant for evil God is able to use for His good, like He did with the situation of Joseph > Genesis 37-50.

So, our attention needs to be with God and all He is doing.

"Test all things, hold fast what is good." (1 Thessalonians 5:21)

Test each thing for the good which God can do with it.

Judge Roy Moore Apologies
I think people jumping to conclusions might need to apologize to themselves and get with God so they don't do that.

For all I know, she could have done a forgery, but this does not automatically mean he is not guilty of things she has accused him of doing. Plus, one forgery does not mean he is innocent of other wrong things.

And God has given us the "do not bear false witness" command because God knows humans do on purpose falsely accuse people. So, for all I know, any number of women could be lying.

I am curious if there is evidence that a number of them have ever been at the same time and place where accused men have been.

Also, one might accuse truly, but others could be jumping on the band wagon.

Is Senator Warren A Native
If I use the name of a legitimate Native American in a way which has a disrespectful meaning, this could be creating a new way of discrimination, plus demeaning a woman by using her name in a poor way.

But lying is nothing new.

But each individual is unique, so I might do better to take the adventure of facing the challenge to have each person speak for one's own self about why each one does what he or she does.

It is too lazy to try to speak for everyone in just one way, I would say (c:

But a simple answer might be that ones for Donald will ignore his wrongs, while they criticize the wrongs of the opposition. But I think this would be lazy, versus making the effort to be really honest.
