Brother Sister In Christ
Declaring Jesus as Lord and Savior.

Explain Matthew 5:16

Does Matthew 5:16 conflict with Matthew 6:1-4? No. Why or why not?
Mat 5:16 reveals to us that The Light in us is the Fathers inspiration and influence manifest through us, the works are His, the glory belongs to Him.
Mat 6:1-4 cautions us that when we receive of that inspiration and influence, we are make no provision for the flesh by taking forethought concerning any external recognition that may, or may not result from His work in us.

Aborts And Miscarriage
"Is there a difference?" Yes, one is usually accidental, the other intentional. One spontaneous, the other premeditated. One an act of God, the other an act of man.

Eastern Orthodoxy Roman Catholic

"Can someone here tell me what must I do to be save?" ---cowboys#1_Fan
I personally don't think anyone here can say it any better than Apostle Paul and Silas already has, and in their own words, "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house." Act 16:31 What I have been given to embrace concerning that is if we simply adhere to, trust in, and rely on, the Lord Jesus, the Christ, we will indeed be saved.

Christ In You

"You in Christ" is representative of your abiding in the Word, "Christ in you" is representative of the Word abiding in you. As Jesus said to those who would follow Him "Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine, no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing." And "At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you." "Christ [is] the power of God, and the wisdom of God." Jhn 15:4,5>Jhn 14:20>1Co 1:24

Rich Man Lazarus
Strongaxe, Mark Eaton, as concerning the resurrection of Lazarus, Jesus said, "Our friend Lazarus sleeps, but I go, that I may awake him out of sleep. Then said Jesus unto them plainly, Lazarus is dead." As concerning the dead, It is written that they "sleep in Jesus". And that "we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent [or precede] them which are asleep." For "the dead in Christ shall rise first."

Are Statues Good Or Bad
Loony1 I think the general consensus is as Samuel has stated, "Statues are neither good or bad per se. What they are viewed as or stand for. That is what is good or bad." Or as Chria puts it "A statue in and of itself is neither good or bad, only the meaning or interpretation any particular person may give it." Or my view, "It is that which the statue is given to represent" or convey in the mind of the person or persons considering that representation or conveyance. That which is offensive to one, may not be so, to another.

Under The Law Of Tithing
The intent of tithing was the support of the Levitical priesthood. But "the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law." No one is under the law of tithing, except, perhaps those practicing the religion of Judaism.

Preterists and Futurists
"What do you think? I think the most important concept of the book of revelation is the fact that the Lord is revealing Himself, and His plan for His Church. It's His witnesses of the true kingdom, (the reign of His Spirit within us). To demonstrate His method of operation, or His way. He has set His principles for life, our testimony is a life laid down and made new to test, prove and approve those principles, as a true testimony to the fact that The Fathers ways are true and just, thus best suited for his creation. This is our indictment against Satan, our standing in agreement with the Father decision to destroy him and his works.

Rich Man Lazarus
The rich man and Lazarus was a parable. How do I know? Because when the parable was uttered Jesus was responding directly to the Pharisees. And as it is written "without a parable spake he not unto them." Why? " Because it is given unto you [his disciples] to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given." Why? Next 4 verses Mat 13:12-15 It was only after finishing the parable of the rich man and Lazarus that He again spoke directly to His disciples.

Knee During National Anthem
"Here's the problem, there is no LAW anywhere that says you must STAND during the anthem. I also know in church we pray both standing up and sitting and kneeling. If some feel they want to kneel while others are standing, no one says that is insulting God.

I may HATE that one can openly burn the flag, and I still cringe when I hear or see it, HOWEVER, I respect the person's RIGHT to do so under our constitution."

Kathr truer words have never been written. Good to read you again.

End Of World September 2017

This simply shows the lengths some people are willing to go for notoriety and publicity. The sad part of this is the fact that the media so willingly exploits it & plays on the fears of the unlearned or misinformed concerning this. The events surrounding the coming of Jesus and the end of this age are written, and are discerned by those who are sealed mentally by the Word & Spirit of God. Free your mind of the frivolous distractions & concerns of the world.
