Do You Have The Truth

Gods word tells me I have the truth! Historicaly, His word proves itself with every archialogical discovery that reveals people, places, & things the nay-sayers try to say didn't happen.
No-one else in the course of history has fulfilled prophecy like Jesus. And in light of current End Times prophecy being revealed, almost daily, it continues. Matt5:18 Jesus say's that not the smallest parts of the Law (jot & tittle) will disappear.
When Jesus went to rebuke or correct someone, He always said, "As it is written". Not "as it should have been written" Jesus proved the word as written.

Ruben!
Mike in Luke 10:29 it reads who is my neighbor", Luke use adelphos
---Ruben on 12/17/08

Sorry Ruben! This is another false reading of yours.

Remember Luke is writting in Greek.
In Lk10:29 he used the greek word "plesion" which means 'neighbor' or 'countryman'.

Ive recommended before that you get a concordance with the Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek words used in the bible.
Until you do. You will continue to misslead others with your missinterpretations.

What does the verse mean? Joseph DID NOT KNOW Mary until she brought forth Jesus. What does "KNEW HER NOT" mean?

I know it does not mean that they had sexual relation as you want it to say. 2 Samuel 6:23 reads "Therefore Michal the daughter of Saul had no child unto the day of her death." Is this scripture telling us she had children after her death?..No

---Ruben on 1/4/09

Ruben,
Obviously, yours and Mics "critical thinking skills" need alot of refining.
If you can't see that the scriptures Manny listed refer to sexual relations. That should scare any women reading your blog!

What is Very obvious in Gods word somehow gets skewed in your minds by what you believe about the RCC.

---Ruben on 1/4/09

This is another one of your misplaced/misread illustrations that taint your credibility and understanding of the scriptures.
Read the scripture carefully AND your own wording to see that it says 'unTo the day of her death'. Not unTill the day of her death.

It means, she could not concieve children her entire life, died childless and did not leave any heirs!
Read the entire reference from V16 to V23 and you will see that God did not let her have children because, (v16) she despised David. And (v20) she riddiculed David.

You would do well to heed your own words and be ready to give an account to the Lord for that when you were given the truth you rejected it, just as you do Christ or the apostles words by sighting the Macabees or lesser books to trump their words.
All because you believe in the RCC's claim that They Are The 'One True Church'.

And now you'll be thinking of Peter and his successors, or "The Gates of Hell", etc.... Just because the RCC lays claim to these scriptures, Out of Context I might add, and you haven't got the wherewithal, to check and see if what your'e told is true.

The time is short for you, your family and friends to know the truth and be saved. You Better Be Right!

You remind me of 2Tim.3:5,7.

yes, and they all agree that Jesus had no brothers.

And both Men wrote that the Virgin Mary was a virgin forever..

Whatever!
---Ruben on 12/17/08

Whatever is that both men had not yet researched the fact that they had been decieved by these falsehoods.

But you have been shown and therefore are without excuse. My hands are clean on these issues.
The scriptures bare witness to these truths, in context with the rest of scripture, the law of Moses, and the languages they were spoken in all confirm that Mary had children with Joseph, And Mary could not have remained a virgin.

Neither was she sinless! According to Gal.4:4-5, She was born under the law, therefore was subject to sin and death.

If she were sinless, then the law was not fulfilled. As two sinless people could not satisfy the requirement of the law!
The penalty would not have been paid!
We would all still be under the law and sin. And Jesus death would have been in vane!

God's Holy Spirit is available to help teach us.

Jn.14:16-17, And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever,
(v17) even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot recieve, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him, but you know Him, for He dwells with you and WILL be in you.

You guys, Mic & Ruben, need to get past the "dwells with you" part and recieve the "in you" part. Until you trust in the Holy Spirit more than you do the RCC.
You will not see the truth and it will only serve to hinder your understanding.

Since Brothers has a broad meaning, give me book, chapter and verse that says Mary had other children
---Ruben on 12/15/08

We did Ruben!?!
Luke explained it perfectly and truthfuly.
When he used the words for cousin(s) for Elizabeth and her relatives. Then, why didn't he use the same words when describing the brothers(sisters) of Jesus!?!
Because they didn't apply.
He left "Adelphos" for brothers because it's the correct interpretation, otherwise he would have used 'Suggenes' or 'Suggeneia'
to indidcate "cousins/relatives".
Could it be any clearer? Do you understand the term "Inextricable Inference".

Why then viturally no Church Father nor Martin Luther, John Calvin could discern scripture like you can. They all agree that Jesus had no brothers, are you saying you know scripture better then them..
---Ruben on 12/16/08

Actualy, Both men and the church fathers had the scriptures that were available to them at the time by the RCC.

Martin Luther(1483-1564) spent the 20+yrs he had left defending himself against the vidictive RCC. Most likely was not able to study more as he would have liked.
John Calvin(1509-1564) was in the same situation. Defending himself of the truths that he was able to discover.

It wasn't until 1604 when King James decreed the the full scripture translation be undertaken.

Fifty-four of Great Britains best biblical scholars used all the texts available. Including the Apocrapha, the Macabees and lesser books, not in the KJV because of 'questionable' origins and lack of continuity with Old/New Testaments as we have them today.

F.H.A. Screvener, A Respected biblical scholar and textural critic noted,
The KJV was so laborious, so generaly accurate, so close so abhorrent of paraphrase, so grave and weighty in word and rhythm, so intimately bound up with the religious convictions of the English people, it will never yield up its hard earned supremacy.......

Theres never been a legitimate challenge to it's authority in 400yrs, Ruben.

Did Jesus Have Brothers

As has been said here before. When a books history, geography, it's people, it's message(non-spiritual in nature)or even semi-spiritual, Does not line up with the OT/NT scriptures. And is written by an author that can't be verified. We don't consider them valid.

The phrase" If They SHOULD Be Written Every One" does Not suggest that anymore were?! And is one the RCC intimates has been done and canonizes them to try to justifiy their validity.

The Holy Spirit has given us just the right amount of books, inspired books, recorded by men of God, inspired by the HS, that harmonize with each other.

Did Jesus Have Brothers

Mike as you should know :

"And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen."(Jhn 21:25)

Besides not recored are the names of the books of the NT, give Book, chapter and verse that gives us a list of the canonical books of NT,OT?
---Ruben on 12/15/08

This one(Jn12:25) always intrigued me Ruben. Because the RCC claims to have the inside scoop on such books. You can google to look them up if you like! I have no respect for their authority. As is true for most of the Non-Catholic,Anglican,Orthidox,denominational scholars.

Am I A Prophet Of God

So I guess COLOR does matter to you and Trav after all! Why do you and others pretend that it does not when it comes to Jesus (god, right?)? This CLEARLY answers your earlier question to me on why color matters.

I would strongly urge you to do some serious research on the Jewish people, who are indeed historical! You should start with their ancestors, the Hebrew/Israelites! Notice that the bible places them in Africa and Asia! They grew up in Africa!
---I_AM_I on 12/10/08

Actualy, History doesn't tell us what color they were. There were alot of earthly changes from Adam to Jesus. Meteorlogical, Atmospherical, world wide flood, etc...Or is that just myth too!(Despite the non-eyewiness, geological evidence!?!)

Am I A Prophet Of God

Location does! Jesus was more olive than dark, as the Jews still look today. Why should it be any different. Their eyewitness history would back that up!
Moses was going to marry an Ethiopian woman(Black), Was being chastized for it by Miriam. Obviously, they, the Jew's, weren't as you try to suggest.

Your still trying to use your flawed, imperfect, reasoning, Your logic, knowledge and understanding of things, as that which is greater than God's (Who Is Spirit).

And on that note,
Matt.3:16, Then Jesus, when He had been baptized, came up immediately from the water, and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting on Him.

Am I A Prophet Of God

(V17) And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

Obviously they weren't all crammed into Jesus with no body left to take care of the universe.
1John3:2, Beloved, now we are children of God, and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.

I_AM_I! You can't even be sure what You believe if you can't get the facts straight about the Jews, and what you intimate to know.

By the way! What Eyewitnesses do YOU have to to confirm your beliefs are correct?

Did Jesus Have Brothers

So Elijah and Enoch both were pretend to have and the two witness in the Book of Revelation again was pretend to have assume to heaven...Funny!
---Ruben on 12/12/08

The problem with your reasoning here is that this IS recorded in Gods word. And the assumption of Mary IS Not.
It's an Unfounded assumption to be sure.
Again, If it was of such importance to the church. Then why didn't John write about it since Christ charged John with caring for her, and he would have been there to see it? To Not record it would be close to a sin in RCC thought!
It's a fable, turned tradition, sold as truth.
John would not have dishonored Jesus or Mary if this were true. Think about it!

Did Jesus Have Brothers

Mike, does scripture say that the Apostles were fiil with the Holy Spirit even in their mother's womb in the upper room like it say John was in the womb of his mom!
---Ruben on 12/12/08

This one is even more ridiculous, Ruben.
The "assumption" of Mary's Assumption is bad enough.

Once again, God's word records that Jesus "Alone is Sinless".
1John3:5, And you know that he was Manifested to take away our sins, and In Him Is No Sin.

There is no "manifestation" (something obvious) about Mary or John the baptist being sinless. This one inparticular is blasphemous. It takes away from the Majesty and Sovereignty of God

What Is A Rosary Used For

Again did she of the Gospel of John and turn the page to Jhn 7:5 and read the verse and said..ooh he means the disciples!
---Ruben on 12/11/08

It's becomming ever more clear that you just don't have a clue about how to study or even reason the truths of His word.

Your dealing with a timeline and progression of events here Ruben. And scripture and events that are taught daily in the synagogues and the streets.

The references are clear Ruben to those who seek to know the truth.

Did Jesus Have Brothers

Ruben - and who exactly of the early church proclaimed Mary to be sinless and did not experience death? I love to see your research on this subject.
---Lee1538 on 12/10/08

Ruben --- I'm trying to think of somebody that, according to Scripture, was born without sin.
I can think of no one...except maybe Adam and Eve before the fall. Can you give some examples...along with Scripture that proves their sinlessness?
---Donna66 on 12/10/08

Thats a pretty big assumption assuming the Assumption of Mary, Ruben.
A definition under assume is:"To pretend to have". I think the RCC pretended that she did!
Under assuming: "Taking too much for granted." Also, presumptuous.
