Do We Have A Freewill

In this context, the concepts of "absolute sovereignty" and "free will" are creations of man. They come from man's incomplete view of Creation, and God is not bound by them. God has known everything that everyone would do since before he created them, thus the great paradox: Man is predestined by his own free will.

It is also good to keep in mind that, although many of the things in the Bible are to be taken literally, some of the more strange ones often speak in a symbolic sense, or are visions a prophet had that often involve symbolism. This is a bit of a leap, but it may help to learn Hebrew and get a Hebrew Torah. Some of the more esoteric passages are more clear in their original form.

Why Should I Believe The Bible

I once asked the same question. Truthfully, it's not one that can be answered by another person. No answer I received satisfied me.
