We Want To Leave Church

Honesty is a good place to start.
This sounds like fear.
The joy of the Lord is your strength.
Set up a meeting, face to face, no written letters.
It's affecting you very deeply.. the cowardly way out is no good.
Have some integrity, eat a dirt sandwich and tell the truth. Shake the dust off of your feet and move on.

Is Ezekiel 37 True

Yes, I believe it literally, accurately, and implicitly. Ezekiel 37 Jew and Christian. They will stand, they will remain, and they will survive. Jerusalem, the envy of the world, where God has chosen to place His Name.

Your Job In Heaven

The kingdom of God is not food and drink, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so that I should not be delivered to the Jews; but now My kingdom is not from here.

Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

You Must Be Decent Not Christian

We don't live in a peaceful society. We are at war. Without scripture, we cannot love as Jesus loves us. Jesus is our freedom. Jesus is our only assurance of peace. Jesus overcomes the world. Our faith in Jesus brings us victory. Without scripture, there is no victory today. It is Jesus, the Word, that is holding this world together, from flying apart, and turning on its' axis. We confess Jesus, quote His Words, because Jesus' perfect love gives us boldness in the day judgment. John 1:1 1 John Ch 4,5

Has The Church Replaced Israel

No, I do not believe in replacement theology. I pulled up two other blogs with scripture references.

There Is Division In My Church

Whoa Nelly. Your family wants you back in the RCC and they're praying for your return? Are they praying your finances will be drained until you return? If so, that is a spirit of witchcraft. Division in your church of choice, or the church as a whole?

What's Up September

Trish, I know that you actually exist. You tell the truth. I can imagine what you must see every day. The only way a person could handle it - grounding yourself in the Truth.
Day in, day out, and shaking the job off of your shoulders as you leave. Trish, how is that Bible study going?

What's Up September

Trish, I've watched opposition to your profession over the past year. One by one, those with the greatest objection, have been revealed as the same person. Without help, the family is left to pick up the pieces of a mind that's shattered, scattered and in desperate need of attention. You've talked about religious ideations. A shattered mind can hide behind religion. If the sickness remains, year after year, hiding behind religion - the symptoms are increasing - it's time for medical treatment.

People die from internal injuries, and they may go undetected, until it's too late.
People die from mental illness and it may go undetected, until it's too late.
I see some of these blogs as a cry for help, at the same time, wanting to hide behind religion. Waiting for Jesus to heal you, deliver you from mental illness is Scriptural.
Harming your family and everyone around you while you wait, is not Scriptural.

Trish, I was wondering, how many of you have actually met someone on the blogs?
I know that you and JohnT., have actually met one another.
Trish, you know NV Barb and Steve, and Elder, yes?
They exist, I know that you do, Trish.

What Are You Thankful For

Sophie, my dog. My husband took her on a fishing/camping trip. Mom and I miss that little animal (husband, too). My garden is in a shambles, but we miss seeing that black and white dog sitting outside near the kitchen window. We have laughed ourselves silly at her wild behavior. I'm grateful for one of God's creatures to lighten up my family's summer. Today, it's only 60 degrees, fall is here. Sophie will shorten the long winter.

Favorite Kid's Games

I made dollhouses out of the large round oatmeal containers. I made wallpaper out of contact paper. I cut windows, made furniture out of cardboard, placed small dolls at the table or on the cardboard beds. I spent oodles of summer afternoons making dollhouses and building forts. I rode my bicycle the rest of the time. I did play a marble game that a neighbor man made for me, Aggravation, I think that you might call it.

Favorite Kid's Games

My mother was a school teacher and we were not allowed to say, "I'm bored", "what's there to do around here", "what now, mom?".
She is very creative, always had a project idea, and we had it make it ourselves. The cost was pennies and we stayed out of her hair. Sorry to say, one of my favorite games in the summer was making cinnamon toast. Just enough butter, sugar and cinnamon, so everything didn't slide off. The perfect piece of toast, along with chocolate milk.

You're going to have a third job, don't wear yourself out
Trish, how do the caregivers keep their own hearts from becoming heavy. It would be difficult to see that much sadness and despair on a daily basis. The bible study would be a very interesting to sit in on. I'll pray for that group. Are there any ministers that volunteer their time there?

Friend Had Child That Died

John 15:13, Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends...
Avoiding your best friend would be fear.

I worked many, many years with two men who died in a two month's span. One from a heart attack, the other from diabetes. The boss allowed the entire office to visit with the wives, for as long as we wanted, often as we wanted, on company time. Good boss.

Friend Had Child That Died

After the funeral was the most difficult time when all of their relatives were gone.
If this is your best friend, you need to open your heart and be there for whatever they might need. Food, errands, service the car, whatever you can do, but don't avoid a friend in need.
They may not remember what you did or if you said any comforting words, but be there for a listening ear. If they want to take a trip down memory lane with photos, be there. Listen, that's all you have to do.

How God Created Animals

Mary, I can't tell you how much I'm enjoying this little dog. She came at a very stressful time in my life. They are so good for those in hospitals, homes, as they take your mind off of your troubles. She's makes me laugh. I'm making a turkey dinner today for my family. She's standing in a chair, outside my kitchen window waiting for hers. We visit, and she talks back, wha wha whoo whoo, then throws her head back and howls like a hunting hound. Animals are God's blessing. Unconditional love.
