Are Statues Good Or Bad

It might not need to be getting attention.

And in order for people to have an interpretation, they would need to have someone give them explanations and ideas which can feed their interpretation. So, even if they are not educated, they can hear from someone who is able to communicate (c:

In our minds we can make idols, of how we want women to look, for one example, so we can use them. And we can create the image in ourselves of how we want other people to be. But God can do better (c:

Is Sola Scriptura A Theory

"But 1 Thess 2:15 states Tradition in all FORMS!

Please address this Passage:

1 Thess 2:15
Therefore, brothers, stand firm and cling to the TRADITIONS we TAUGHT you, whether by SPEECH or by LETTER."

Well, written forms would include traditions which are written in scripture > including >

"And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body, and be thankful." (Colossians 3:15)

So, one tradition is how we submit to how our Heavenly Father personally rules each of us in our "hearts" with His own peace.

Explain Hebrews 12:4

I think he means that Satanic people do shed the blood of people who stand against sin, and the people who got this message had not yet so resisted sin.

This includes how in us we say no to sinful things and we pray effectively against Satan's kingdom. And our example fights, effectively, more than any words we say :)

And the ones getting this message were staying comfortable with religious Jewish stuff, so they could fit in, maybe.

Now, ones can use psychiatry to excuse sin in our personalities. We need to call whatever in us that is not gentle and humble sin, and pray against it.

Apology Or Forgiveness

I think an apology can be a way of asking forgiveness. So, I think it depends on the individual and your relationship and understanding that you have.

Apology Or Forgiveness

"And be kind to one another, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you." (Ephesians 4:32)

So, yes, "even as God", we forgive each other (c: Jesus in us lives to have us forgiving in sharing with Him >

"I have been crucified with Christ, it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me, and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me." (Galatians 2:20)

So, yes, in separation from God we are not worthy and able to forgive.

"But He who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him." (1 Corinthians 6:17)

Now that we are "one spirit with" Jesus, we live His forgiveness in His love (c:

Does Obama Love USA

Jerry, about your question . . . God loves us and THEREFORE He changes us >

"For whom the LORD loves, He chastens,
.And scourges every son whom He receives."
. . . . . . . . . . . . (in Hebrews 12:6)

But even if any of us love "America", only God can change anyone right.

We can tend to think up what we want and then try to use politicians and friends for what we want. But God can bring us to better (c:

God Doesn't Intervene

And, while we are at it, why doesn't God intervene to protect the unborn Americans who are being slaughtered daily in the United States of America?

Why is the attention going so much to ISIS and President Obama, and not to the tyranny of attacking and killing unborn people?

"God resists the proud," we have in James 4:6 and also in 1 Peter 5:5.

An evil group and a nation of slaughter can be used to resist each other.

If real Christians are being martyred . . . I think they and Paul are fine with departing to be with Jesus. Meanwhile, others stay here in this world the way it is.

So . . . who is better off ? ? ? :) Isaiah 57:1

Does Obama Love USA

If he's not a Christian, how can he truly love anyone?

I keep noticing how so much attention goes to ISIS while the United States still has so many people involved in killing unborn American citizens. And the President does not make an obvious effort to defend unborn people.

So, can I say he even knows love, to begin with?

And the consequences of Achan's sin (Joshua chapter 7) shows me that a nation can not be effective against an evil group, while that nation itself is doing evil.

If a nation is not able to love and care for her unborn, how can she take care of anything effectively and with real love???

So, why is so much attention going to ISIS and President Obama, and not to killers of unborn Americans????

Does God Control Us

I believe that God has overall control of all things. And we see how He uses wrong people for His good purpose > for one example, Genesis 37-50.

I think there are thoughts that violate us > we did not decide to start them, and we did not choose to have them come with anger and fears and unforgiveness and bad and painful memories > they are a Satanic attack, and do not say, "excuse me".

Plus, there are love-dead thoughts for pleasure. Love would filter away the evil spirit of them. But we don't.

So, we need how God alone can correct us and make our character unavailable to wrong thoughts. We are not God, to do this ourselves > 2 Corinthians 3:5, Philippians 2:13, James 4:7, Hebrews 12:6-11.

Do You Pray For Presidents

yes

"Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. (1 Timothy 2:1-2)

So, first I can see He wants us to care in love's prayer "for" evil and wrong leaders . . . not to first be criticizing them or wanting to control them so we can use them for what we want.

But our Father "is love" (1 John 4:8 & 16) > He cares personally . . . about what is personally good for each leader.

Obama National Prayer

Jed, I read that Mohammed once said to ease up while it was not militarily practical to fight with certain people. So, if this is true, this can match with your idea that Muslims can be waiting for the "right" advantage.

In Germany, all those people were ready to join Hitler in what they did.

So, I would say in any country of this world there are enough psychopaths who are ready to do what a dirty leader gives them authority to do.

Also, right now > look at how so many in the United States are ok with slaughtering unborn people . . . because they have been given power to do this.

So, Muslims are not the only ones.

And God knows what works > 1 Timothy 2:1-4.

Thoughts On AD Movie

I have been reading, here and there, what "American" Catholics can be doing while claiming to be under the authority of the Vatican.

I suppose someone could be "even" New Age and still think he or she is Roman Catholic.

So, I would need to let Roma speak for herself (c: and see if what she says is a match with official Roman Catholic things.

And, even then, may be officially you can differ from official things and still be considered by the Roman Catholic Church to be a Catholic, but encouraged to conform. I think I've been told something like this.

But prayer can do more than my analyzing!!

Holier Christians Possible

Hi, Jed (c: I have been finding more and more holes in my claim to be a really Christian person!!

unforgiveness

paranoid suspicion of people, instead of blessing them in prayer

looking down on Cluny, instead of being humble > even though he wrote "It's not a apocalyptic phenomenon," in his post, below > 2/7/15, after correcting others

meditating on how someone should cream ISIS, when in fact ones upset with ISIS are themselves in a cult of slaughtering unborn people who are not convenient for them

So, I need to not have so many holes, but become holy in love. This comes with seeking our Father for correction > Hebrews 12:6-11. As we get closer to Him, we get more closely corrected.

She Speaks In Tongues

Hi, Debbie (c: It is kind of "hard" for Jesus to be His own Father, "I would say." Jesus is "the Son of God", we have in 1 John 4:15 > it does not say He is the Father, but "the Son of God".

But ones want to look down on others, and so they make up things so they can be different and look down on ones different than they are. "Even minority people are using the oneness thing for discriminating against Christians."

"God is love" (in 1 John 4:8 & 16) > where there is love, there is more than one person (c: And God our Father and Jesus and the Holy Spirit are family caring and sharing love!!! (c:

She Speaks In Tongues

About being "unequally yolked" > I think it is good if you and someone else do not have equal yolks, but our yolks need to have things different from one another, so we have things to offer each other.

In her case, though, this could be a cultic thing, of making up differences so her group can look down on others and reject ones who are not like they are.

A basic trick of a wrong group is they make up some thing no one else has, then say we are the only ones with this and it is so important that you have to join us.

If she is judging by an outward standard of outward tongue speaking, this could be judging by appearance, which Jesus says not to do > John 7:24.

What Is Rigtheousness

I think the same word can have different meanings.

Jesus is our righteousness.

We become righteous by trusting in Jesus, but we still can be able to sin.

So, we need how our Father corrects us so then we share in His love's "peaceable fruit of righteousness" > Hebrews 12:6-11.

So, there is the status of being right, by joining with Jesus. But then we need how God cures our character in His love so our nature has His righteousness . . . how His love alone is truly right :)

Calling Is To Sing

Well, for building a house, yes you must have the right abilities. But, Victoria, I don't think your voice is dangerous (c: just because it does not meet worldly standards of music people are willing to pay money for >

Jesus says, "Freely you have received, freely give," in Matthew 10:8. If your singing is for worship and loving people, you can sing in church worship or at the bedside of a nursing home resident or someone else . . . wherever God pleases.

But there are ones who require approval, an audience, and money.

Also, no matter what your face looks like, you can love and smile (c: Not all things require professional acceptance!! (c:
