Are Tattoos Wrong

I like how you stated it, every other nit picky thing. When we cease to love each other and start saying God does not like, what we do not like, we need to get some real prospective about how He sees things. He looks at us differantly then we do. Then we have to remember that our lives as believers are to show love so that others will know how much God loves them. We become the light of God so they know who He really is from our example.

If we are nit picky then the world will believe He is nit picky.

This might apply to many of the folks in our churches who profess to be christians. I am not sure how you can use this scripture to make your point. This scripture talks about people who know God but they do not glorify God, and the RC folks that I know recognize and glorify God as far above them and recognize that He is the creator of the whole universe. Let us not be so quick to proclaim them not of God. Let's let God do that.

Are Tattoos Wrong

I am seeing a lot of "we shouldn't" and "should not" but if we were to be tattooed and then receive Jesus as our savior, is it a sin, I believe not. It is not about our outward appearance but what is in our heart. That is where God looks and sees. The tattoo puts US off not God. He loves us and He is impressed with our heart and what we do in LOVE.

Again I ask why we are so concerned with what other folks practice when it is clear that working on the practice of love is and would be the best thing. Jesus said to love one another, do we or don't we. We argue and we have our convictions but are we in love? This is the first commandment.

Is the question about "kissing some statue" or, and, why do we care? Why don't we as followers of Christ just love others and when others see that we do that then they will want what we have and give up the stuff that is not filled with or has nothing to do with love. People are all looking for relationship and will work at it in the way they know.

Christians Obsess About Money

Wow, we do not like to have the subject of money talked about do we. Well I have a need for money to keep my bills paid and to live better. The Word of God does not say I cannot prosper. It is pretty clear about being ok to have money just not ok to love it. The LOVE OF MONEY is the root of all evil. It is one more blessing from God to be in plenty. I for one do not want to be in poverty but it is a great responsibility to have plenty. Find a place specifically that says I have to be poor.

If we are so opposed to being prosperous why is it we continue to have and buy stuff. Why don't we give all of it away and not have houses, cars, more than one outfit to wear and tv's and computers, all the rest. How foolish to say that God does not want us to prosper. As we prosper so does His Word.

We are the heirs of all God has if we are sons of God. Gal 4:7 says we are no longer slaves but sons, and if sons then heirs of God and if He owns it all then so do we if we inherit it all. We are so focused on telling ourselves and others that we should not be prosperous that we miss the point that God wants to give us everything, and in getting everything we do not lose out or do not become less in love with Him.

Are you guys as opposed to healing as you are to prosperty? I hope not but if you are then if God means us not to be healed we should never go to the doctors again. This sounds really foolish huh!!!

Interesting that when I first sign on to this site that there is a place to find out how I can make more money. And this is on ChristiaNet. Links to make money at home, to increase finances, to have home based business. Does this make any sense to you? We are so religious about money but are all trying to make more, why don't we just use it wiser and give more. We could actually have more to give to our churches, tithing, offerings, missions. Maybe that is what God wants us to do with it.

Pay Tithes or Cursed

the tithe is sacred, God said to do it and that is why we do and for doing it we get to have over flowing blessings, the devourer gets rebuked and the fruit of our ground doesn't get distroyed. It is a simple principle, and God spoke of it in the Old Testament and He is the same today, yesterday and forever so what He said then is for now. He even says to try Him to see what He will do. sounds like a good idea for me and being obedient is what is right.

I am amazed that for some who say they love the Lord and that He is their savior, there is little love to be had in this discussion. Did anyone know that God is getting ready to visit the Cathlic folk and to pour out His blessings on them as they have a profound love for God that puts us Prot. to shame at times. Love your neighbor as yourself. That is His directive, and then we show that we love Him.

Why Mary Was A Virgin

She was a virgin because she could not be spoiled by being with a man. That was the miracle that He was born of a woman who had no prior time with a man and so God overshadowed her and LOVE was conceived in her. The awesome thought of it. She a young woman who was chosen by God to bring into this world the savior of the world. So much love that we can't even understand it all. She found favor with God and He used her for us. Cool.

why would folks even put a question like this up? I you are born again, have accepted Jesus as your savior and He has forgiven your sins, you believe He died on the cross for your sins, then you are a christian. The love God has for us is so big it can encompass all. So we love as He loves.
