Bible States No Christmas Trees

Moderator, I agree wholeheartedly with the reality that Christians, born again individuals should not have a christmas tree in the home. A tree in the home does not serve any pupose in the life of the godly person. "have no other gods before me" the bible states! When we take the time to get a tree cut, to buy decorations for it, to decorate it, when we could be praying, reading Gods' word--THIS IS NO DOUBT PAGANISM.

Yes, it has become a family tradiition and no doubt for christians, but because it is a man made ideology-- and not God. God did not instruct us to cut the tree down and decorate it and it will represent the .....NO. 'WE MUST HAVE NO OTHER GODS BEFORE HIM, I REPEAT." Moderator you mentioned, about the tithing also. MOST DEFINITELY, not only a tithe belongs to God but everything that we possess.

YES JEREMIAH talks about the Christmas tree--the old testament reflects the new, for the old testament was a shadow of things to God whether Christ was not born then or night. Isaiah speaks of the birth of Christ before he was born...
