Can Criminals Change With God
After Jesus died, it looks as though Joseph of Arimathea was concerned about getting Jesus Christ's body so he could bury Him. It does not say anyone asked for or got the cross or part of it.

And Mary Magdalene seems to me like she was mainly attentive to seeing where they put the body of Jesus. The attention was to Jesus, mainly, it seems to me, not to the cross or pieces of it.

So-o . . . where is our attention now?

Binge Eating High Blood Sugar
You can double-check this with medical professionals > according to my research >

If you binge eat and this causes you to put on fat, the fat tissue then can send out chemicals which shut down the operation of insulin so your body does not use sugar and it gets to higher and higher blood levels.

So, at first, it might not cause high sugar, but putting on weight can then result in blood sugar increase. And this is what is called adult-onset, type 2 diabetes. And we know how this can result in damage to sugar-sensitive cells of the kidneys and eyes and nerves and it can cause damage to blood vessels, including in the heart.

So, it can be a long-term risk.

My Second Amendment
Yes, Strong Axe, but not all government people get $174,000 a year. I would say teachers are lesser paid members of the government and the authority structure.

I think the historical context of right to bear arms meant having arms so the people could stand up to a tyrannical government.

But, like I meant, below, people now might need a little more than AK-47's or whatever they are. Ones would need missiles for dealing with Cobra helicopters, and eventually that might not accomplish much more than spitting BB's, because "without Me you can do nothing" (in John 15:5).

Nicole, I think you are right, if you mean we need to not allow evil people to steer and decide everything we do.

But God uses prayer.

Can Criminals Change With God
I adjusted Catholicism to fit my personality and ways and nature > I became a social misfit of worry and building up with self-righteous anger until I at times exploded with rage.

Then I got "saved", and kept on in even more criticizing of others and looking down on others. So, I was a conceitaholic. The Roman Catholic Church did not give me the nature and evil spirit (Ephesians 2:2) of this.

And getting "saved" did not stop it.

But God's grace is almighty to succeed in us, to cure our nature into His love (c:

And I would say Jesus considers conceit and its hypocrisy to be more criminal than plenty of things which get people put in jail. So, yes God is able to cure any criminal, Nicole ! ! ! (c:

"'For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.'" (Matthew 26:28)

To my knowledge, this is included in the Catholic Eucharist preparation. So, I am sure that part of Catholic belief includes how Jesus on Calvary shed His blood for our sins, that we may be forgiven.

Hebrews 9:22

Ephesians 1:7

So, yes Jesus Christ shed His blood for us, on Calvary, that we may be forgiven. And this covers any and all sins, including of criminals.

And His grace in us is almighty - - - able to change any of us and any criminal "from the power of Satan to God" (Acts 26:18) so we become like Jesus in God's own love > 1 John 4:17.

My Second Amendment
Hi, Nicole and everyone (c:

"Thousands die each year due to DUIs. Children are killed, abused and neglected because of Alcohol"

And a number are killed by medical instruments before they are born.

"The recent horrible shooting proves why Teachers need to be armed."
"The Government CAN NOT save you."

Teachers are part of the government, are they not?

And according to my knowledge of history, Jesus told the Apostle Peter that he who lives by the sword will perish by it.

"A Dictator CAN NOT exist when average Citizens are well armed."

machine guns, bazookas, missiles for taking down military jets and Cobras . . .

My Inter-Racial Marriage
Hi, Indirah (c: God bless you (c:

I think there are plenty of people who are interracially married. I would say not all have the same reaction. It depends on who you are socially involved with.

There are people who know how to love, and others do not know how to love. They are missing out on so much if they do not know how to love you. And you can help them by being a good example for them . . .

like how Jesus stood up for us, while we were sinners and not deserving how Jesus on the cross stood up for us and had hope for us to find out how to love.

"And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma." (Ephesians 5:2)

Can Criminals Change With God
We can pray for how God is able to change any evil person.

Jesus suffered and died on the cross with hope for any evil person, at all.

Love "hopes all things" (in 1 Corinthians 13:7).

So, if anyone does not believe God is able to change an evil person into a child of His love, possibly that person has not been changed by God into a Christlike person. Possibly that person has not experienced how God is able to change our nature so that "as He is, so are we in this world." (in 1 John 4:17)

Can Criminals Change With God
Jesus wants me to have forgiveness ready for any person. And God wants us to pray with hope for all which is possible with God for any evil person.

Jesus died on the cross with hope for any evil person, at all.

And Jesus calls to "all" >

"'Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.'" (Matthew 11:28)

So, yes any criminal can change to have hope and solace. And even if you have failed in shameful ways, still . . . Jesus calls to "all", which includes you (c: and me (c:

But we do need for God to correct our character so we can have real and stable rest for our souls > Hebrews 12:4-11.

Living Christian Lifestyle
"Do all things without complaining and disputing, that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world, holding fast the word of life, so that I may rejoice in the day of Christ that I have not run in vain or labored in vain." (Philippians 2:14-16)

So, God does expect us to stop our arguing and complaining. And if we do, we can "become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault", right "in the midst of" this evil world's "crooked and perverse generation".

God commands this, so God knows His grace can do this with us.

Scriptures Of The Early Church
Along with what wivv has said > each Christian was included in being >

"the epistle of Christ" > see 2 Corinthians 3:1-3.

And Paul says how ones became "examples" > see 1 Thessalonians 1:7. We were "examples" of what God's word really means (c:, including,

"with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love." (Ephesians 4:2)

"And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you." (Ephesians 4:32)

We have experienced how God in His love "in our hearts" (Romans 5:5) has lovingly forgiven us. Our Teacher demonstrates what His word means . . . in us! (c:

Did Paul Replace Judas
Hi, Micha (c: God bless you (c:

In the book of Acts, in chapter one, you can see who was the replacement for the Judas who betrayed Jesus.

So, Paul was not the replacement for Judas. Acts chapter nine tells us about Paul becoming an apostle. But Jesus chose Paul to minister the Gospel to us Gentiles (Galatians 2:7-10). This was after they replaced Judas, so they already had twelve apostles.

Paul is number thirteen (c: So, we can see why maybe Satan hates the number thirteen.

How Was Christianity Maintained
There have always been Jesus Christ's gentle and humble and obedient people. And we have had qualified leaders, according to the standards given by our Apostle Paul, in 1 Timothy 3:1-10.

"nor as being lords over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock." (1 Peter 5:3)

These have been "examples" > people we can know personally so we can feed on their example in real life. We have not depended only on public show and say-so of ones we do not even know.

Brother Sister In Christ
Jesus' "sheep" can tell the difference, Karen. A sheep can smell who is a real pastor, and who is a wolf in pastor's clothing. John 10:1-30

Every child of God, not only our leaders, has the "fragrance of Christ" >

2 Corinthians 2:14-17

Ephesians 5:2

Our Heavenly Father, then, can tell > He can smell if we obey how He says to love >

"And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma." (Ephesians 5:2)

Mix Of Grace Law Or
Jesus died on the cross for our sins. And Jesus rose from the dead on the third day. And now Jesus is Lord of all.

We have been reconciled to God by the death of Jesus on the cross. And now > "we shall be saved by His life," our Apostle Paul says in Romans 5:10. He does not say we already have been saved, but "we shall be saved by His life."

So, even though we have trusted in Jesus so we have gotten started in our salvation, "we shall be saved by His life." I think this means the life of His love in us making us more and more like Jesus > Romans 5:5, 1 John 4:17.

And works in this love can exercise our character to become stronger in how Jesus is.

New Covenant With Israel
Jerry, I think the New Covenant was made with the Jews who obeyed Jesus.

Christ Baptist Church
Monk, there are more for you to discover. You might look in a yellow pages listing or on the Net.

Not all Protestants are busy with criticizing what names Catholic parishes use. Episcopal churches can very frequently use names of their saints.

But others use things like "Faith", "Bible", "Victory", "Overcomers", "Grace Gospel", "New Hope", and various others.

By the way, I call myself "com7fy8" (c: including comfy in this name, because Hebrews 13:5 says, "be content with such things as you have" and God's love makes us unconditionally content.
