Haz27:

No, it doesn't. There you go again, taking something God PLAINLY WROTE for everyone to understand. Then you insert your own words like "only" that are neither stated nor implied, to render the word of God null and void, just so you can change with it means to something totally different, to absolve you and all your conservative friends from doing what God plainly commanded.

When the final judgment comes, you will find yourself in that very same predicament, being rejected for disobeying Jesus's commandment, and totally clueless as to how you did that, because you interpreted it to mean something different than what he said.

Haz27:

You spritualize everything. Yes, some words have spiritual meanings IN ADDITION to their plain, ordinary meanings, but these do not REPLACE their plain ordinary meanings.

Jesus said hating or lusting was tantamount to murder or adultery in your heart, so he extended "don't kill or commit adultery" to "don't hate or lust", but that doesn't mean it's OK to physically kill someone without spiritual hate or physically cheat without spiritual lust.

Feeding a spiritually hungry person the Gospel is FINE, but that doesn't exempt you from feeding a physically hungry person food. By nullifying the plain meaning, you change God's word, just as the Pharisees who made the Korban exception (Mark 7:8-13).

Haz27:

Once again, you explain away and contradict ACTUAL words Jesus said to conform to your own beliefs. Talk about preaching a different gospel!

John 6:20:
This is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son ***AND*** BELIEVES IN HIM may have everlasting life, and I will raise him up at the last day.

There are TWO requirements here. 1) see the Son, and 2) believe in him. Ever since 33 AD, nobody has been able to meet the first requirement.

Nothing here that says this is the ONLY will of the Father. The Bible lists many other things God wants. Many other scriptures say how to be saved. However, because you are OBSESSED with this ONE SCRIPTURE, you arrive at erroneous conclusions.

Haz27:

You wrote: What makes you think "church-going" makes one a Christian?

What makes you think quoting the Bible makes YOU a Christian?

I've not seen anything to suggest that Obama is a Christian. In fact his hate, lies, corruption, etc as president suggest he's not.

What hateful things has Obama EVER said?

On the other hand, Trump has married three wives, cheated on ALL of them, SPECIFICALLY said he has NEVER been sorry for ANYTHING (you CAN'T be a Christian without repentance), and his favorite part of the bible is the "eye for eye" part - directly contradicting Jesus' forgiveness. If there is no evidence Obama is a Christian, this is direct evidence Trump is NOT.

Haz27:

Yes, you mentioned Shorten, but why? Earlier you mentioned BILLARY, and I was specifically replying to that. I thought you were referring to an amalgam of Bill + Hillary Clinton. Now that you clarified that you were referring to Shorten, I see where the confusion arose.

Still, you spend most of your time screaming accusations and making accusations about fake media, and accusing the left of anything and everything. You are a broken record. All you ever do is accuse, condemn, and vilify. I don't know why ANYONE wastes time talking to you, since you never seem to listen.

Haz27:

I'm saying that NOBODY TODAY can fulfil John 6:40, since nobody today has seen Jesus. If you base your ENTIRE THEOLOGY about filfilling the will of God on John 6:40, everybody today loses.

This is why we CANNOT base our theology on a single verse, but MUST take the ENTIRE word of God into consideration.

John 6:40 tells us clearly that the will of God is that we believe on Jesus and thus have everlasting life.

No. You must see the Son AND believe on him. You fail if you don't believe him. You ALSO fail if you don't see him. Learn some elementary logic.

I did not say that YOU are monopolizing the conversation. However, others DID in the past, so moderators added rules to prevent that from happening again. Nobody can make multiple posts to the same blog in quick succession, or it is likely that the multiple posts will be deleted, either by moderators, or by the submission robots.

Recently, you made 5 posts here in a row. 2 complained about a post that just hadn't been approved yet. Moderators have lives too, and aren't always here.

I'm curious why you think church-going faithful monogamous family man Obama is not a Christian, yet thrice-married adulterous Trump who has never repented anything and whose favorite part of the Bible is "the eye for eye part" IS.

Haz27:

Stick to the subject. I was SPECIFICALLY talking about American politics. YOU SPECIFICALLY mentioned Bill Clinton, so I was SPECIFICALLY addressing that, not some Australian politician that I don't know and don't care about.

If you think it's unfair to smear conservative politicians with unproven rape allegations, it is TOTALLY HYPOCRITICAL of you to do EXACTLY THE SAME THING to Bill Clinton, or other liberal politicians.

Haz27:

And you think you do? Since Jesus' ascencion, nobody has "seen" him, so NO Christians in the top 19+ centuries (INCLUDING you) could fulfil this. If you accuse me of violating John 6:40, so do you.

I SPECIFICALLY said I don't deny John 14:6, so stop constantly saying I did.

Your mistake is that you base your entire theology on one or two verses, ignoring everything else that might elaborate

Yes, the Bible contains hidden wisdom - IN ADDITION to what it plainly says, not REPLACING what it plainly says.

But none of this has anything to do with Canada Hate Speech laws.

Several years ago, Christianet introduced rules to limit conversations from going too long, or for one person from monopolizing a conversation. All conversations are cut off after 75 posts. Each post is limited to 125 words. Nobody is allowed to post more than one reply to any conversation in a short period. (A good rule of thumb is that, once you post a reply on a particular blog, don't post another one until you see your first post approved and posted). If you post multiple posts in quick succession without them being approved, there is a good chance that some of them will be deleted.

Cluny:

This is the conservative double standard:

If Trump (or any other Republican, like Roy Moore or Bett Kavanaugh) is accused of rape or any other crime, he is considered innocent until proven guilty, just as our constitution demands in legal matters, and as do all countries whose law code is based on the Magna Carta.

If Bill Clinton (or any other Democrat) is accused of rape or any other crime, he is considered guilty until proven innocent, just as the Napoleonic code requires.

It's ironic that Evangelicals, who complain about people "dividing Christ", are the ones who complain the loudest about the ecumenical movement, whose goal is to rectify that and un-divide Christ.

Haz27:

Matthew 25 SPECIFICALLY says feed the hungry, clothe the naked, visit the sick. YOU are not content with what God ACTUALLY SAID. Like Pharisees before, you re-interpret what he said to totally nullify it, and make it mean something completely different that you happen to believe.

The Law said "honor your father and mother", but Pharisees said if you vowed money to God, your vow took precedence over the commandment. Jesus said, NO it didn't. DO WHAT GOD ACTUALLY SAYS, not second-guess God by reading between the lines, pretending you are somehow divining some hidden spiritual interpretation. God asked us to follow his word, not read his mind.

By your own interpretation, you render God's word null and void.

Haz27:

Bill Clinton is NOT the "leader of the left". There are voters alive today who weren't even born when he was president. "He's referred to as BILLARY"? By whom, exactly? Only those who have no respect for civil discussion, and think they can win arguments by calling other people names, because heaping abuse on others makes them feel good about themselves.

Democrats "lose unlosable elections" because votes are tampered with after polls close. 2016 NC governor election was thrown out because of much ballot rigging by Republicans. A recent British election had ALL conservative candidates receive thousands more votes than others - Odd, when you win by 3000+ votes and only 2700 people cast ballots.

Haz72:

Yes, Matthew 7:21-23 go hand in hand with Matthew 25. What did Jesus say the two greatest commandments were? Love God, and love your neighbor.

What are the sheep doing in Matthew 25? Feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, comforting the sick - these are all demonstrating love for their neighbor. THIS is the Will of God.

The goats in Matthew 25 didn't do this. Neither did the ones rejected in Matthew 7. They thought they were doing God's will by doing great works, and miracles, and prophecies, and all kinds of other flashy "religious" works that they thought would impress God. But God isn't impressed by all that. That's not what he wants at all. He wants us to love our neighbor.

You wrote: Again, the issue is the DEMs baby genocide platform. But you constantly deflect to other irrelevant nations merely to redirect debate so as to protect the DEMs from criticism on their baby genocide.

No. The issue in THIS blog is "Tech Giants Extreme Censorship". But you don't want to discuss that. You want to discuss blaming people for abortion. I show you a way PROVEN TO REDUCE the number of abortions, but you WON'T LISTEN because you are SO OBSESSED with casting blame at the Democrats that you'd rather watch them abort babies JUST SO YOU CAN CONDEMN THEM FOR IT than you would to actually SAVE babies. For GOD's sake (and the sake of your own soul) PLEASE get your priorities straight!

Tom:

When Cluny invited me here around 12 years ago, he called these "The Piranha Blogs" because people constanly tore each other apart. Sadly, this has not changed.

Haz27:

I repeatedly post solutions that REDUCE abortions. Instead of addressing these, you constantly accuse me of deflection. YOU deflect by not addressing my comments. Why? Are you afraid of truth? If what I said about abortion in NL abd DK being lower than anywhere else in the world is wrong, then PROVE me wrong, instead of just hurling accusations.

I NEVER denied John 14:6, and specifically said that in my last message, but you never actually read what people write - just cherry-pick things you can tear apart and accuse and condemn.

Canada Hate Bill For Speech

Haz27:

I did NOT deny John 14:6. I SPECIFICALLY said that many who do not know Jesus, yet do his will, are saved through him even if they don't know it.

kathr4453:

The reason our Founding Fathers put freedom of religion in the constitution is because that was a new concept - none of the countries of Europe had it. As a result, there was constant persecution of religious groups who didn't run governments by those who did - e.g. Catholics under Henry VIII and Elizabeth I, Protestants under Mary, and Puritans under the Church of England that they considered so bad that they left to found American colonies - and that's only England. Also, The Inquisition, Calvinist purges, etc.

Our Founding Fathers did NOT want to repeat that bloodshed here. Would YOU want your government to tell you when and where and how and whom you can or must worship? I don't.
