Accounting Of Your Taxes
A person can question anything that has to do with the government by contacting their proper elected Senator or Congressman. If it's a state issue contact your state Representative. What you don't do is cheat the government out of what is theirs even if you don't like what they do with your money. "Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due, Romans 13:7-8 (KJV) "Show Me the coin used for the tax. So they brought Him a denarius. 20 Whose image and inscription is this? He asked them. 21 Caesars, they said to Him. Then He said to them, Therefore, give back to Caesar the things that are Caesars, and to God the things that are Gods. Matt 22:19-22 (HCSB)

Saturday Is Day To Worship
It really doesn't make any difference what Biblical evidence you provide that would prove that Saturday in not the only day of worship, if he is narcissist type person, he would reject it and if he is abusive he will take it out on you for challenging his word. Assuming your opinion is that you are in a, "Narcisstic abusive relationship", you need get out of that relationship. Call the police if this is true and report him if he has hurt you.

America's Historical Monuments
Of course it's wrong! These monuments represent some of the history of the USA, right or wrong. What's worse is the message is being sent that if "I don't like, I can destroy it.", The fact I'm breaking the law is not a factor. It reminds to a two year old child, if I can do it and my parents don't seem to mind, it must be O.K. (We are now reaping what parents neglected to do then, and that is applying discipline. The parents choose to be pals rather than parents.) What is being reflected now is the OUT OF CONTROL demonstrators. Reminds me of the Scripture that states what a man sows is what he reaps

Still Call Themselves Sinners
In the Coine Greek, which was the original language used the writing the Bible, sin means, "To miss the mark". God established a mark for humans, but we all missed the mark, based on Roman's 3:23. To help us, God sent His son, Jesus, who was able to hit the mark, which fulfilled God's requirement for gaining heaven. People who accept the fact that Jesus hit the mark' established by God, can now also hit mark vicariously by accepting Christ's hitting the mark. This doesn't mean the Christian doesn't sin, it means God forgives the sin because they have accepted Christ's hitting the mark. Bottom line: The Christian is still a sinner, but his sins are forgiven because Christ hit the mark for us, the Christian didn't hit the mark.

Greatest Threat To The World
Neither - the greatest threat are Christians who aren't being positive witness both in the spiritual and practical arena such as good work ethics!

Are Current Events Bad
"No" there is nothing wrong with staying current with current events. In fact, in my opinion,a Christian is obligated to stay current. How else is a Christian going to vote and pray with any amount of intelligence.

The problem is separating the real news from the fake news.

Daughter Is Pregnant
There are only two things you can do: 1. pray for her & 2. Make yourself available to her. Other than those two things do nothing. She is 35, so your input is limited to being their for her. Only if she asks you for advice should you give it. Just make sure is knows she can seek comfort from you. Do not judge her or you will just "drive" her away.

The Power Of The Law
Here is a verse that may answer your question about the Law:
"Dont assume that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill." Matt 5:17-18 (HCSB)

The purpose of The Law is to show us what God requires to obtain salvation, but the only person able to do that was Christ. By accepting Christ as Saviour, a person meets God's requirements to be with Him in heaven. Bottom line: We don't work FOR our salvation but BECAUSE of our salvation. A Christian should say, "What would Christ do in any situation they confront, not what does the Law require?

How Does God Select
This is what is called a teaching parable. What is being shown, many were called to attend the wedding, but some who were invited gave excuse's as why they couldn't come. What Christ is showing in this parable is that God has invited all persons but only a few came. Bottom line: a lot of folks have been told about Christ's saving ability, but only a few accept His invitation that will give them a position in heaven.

Stop Smoking Cigs
Nicotine is very habit forming. The only people that I know who have successfully "kicked the habit" are those who have become Christians, and went "cold turkey". There are many was you can stop and stay stopped. You really need to pray about it. Pick out some Christian friends that that will help you. In addition, avoid situations that would make you pick up the habit again. Finally, make sure you tell people who smoke around you that you have stopped and they are to help you stay that way, not try and tempt you into smoking.

Conflicting Christians Opinions
One reason for conflicting views
is because Christians will look at Scripture in the view of their own cultural background instead of the culture at the time the various portions of the Bible were written. Second is taking Scripture out of context. Third is they have preconceived views about something try and prove their view by taking the Bible out of context by using a verse, or portions of the Bible to "prove" a point. Fourth is they heard this is what the Bible states without checking to see if it's even in the Bible. I could go on, but space is limited. The main thing is to study the Bible and not just read it.
