Jesus With Taxes

"You all are claiming Jesus paid Caesar when the Bible is clear that He didn't and refused when asked." Where Nichole? BCV?

Jesus With Taxes

Jesus asked Peter "of whom do the kings of the earth take custom or tribute? of their own children, or of strangers?" Peter answered "strangers", "Jesus saith unto him, then the children are exempt." Believers profess themselves to be "strangers and pilgrims on the earth." Therefore must pay by it's laws. As far as claiming to be king, When asked by Pilate, Art thou a king? Jesus simply said "Thou sayest that I am a king." Just prior to the question He had already stated "My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence."

Jesus With Taxes

"Those who believe Jesus was okay with paying taxes. Please explain these Passages Why try an explain a lie? The statement was a baseless accusation. Jesus' answer concerning taxes was, "Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's."

Fall In Love On Internet

"Can you fall in love over the Internet? The only person that can answer you, concerning this, is you. The fact that you ask the question, suggest that you think that you, or someone you know, has. Personally, I am not qualified to answer. I have never fallen in love. I can't say that I even understand the term. For me, love has always been, simply a choice. Which is why questions such as these, catch my attention. Hence, my meaningless comment.

Stop Arresting Criminals

"Boston orders police to stop arresting criminals for breaking and entering, destruction of property or shoplifting. I don't know exactly what is meant by "stop arresting", are those things considered a crime or not. If so, there must be an arrest, indictment, and prosecution. Or it could be the city is simply looking to save money, and rather than bearing the cost, they are looking to make the citizen more 'protection minded' as concerning intrusive theft of property.

He Takes Away Sin

Josef Thats right, you did say that, My bust! No harm, no foul. "the SDA and the JW are borderline devil worshipers." I certainly don't have any opposition to religion, and you will never read anything I've written denouncing any Religious belief. I simply don't want what I share, to be considered an intentional associative reflection of any teaching or dogma held by any of it's affiliates. "I was just happy to find a doctrine, that understands what it means to repent of sin. A word which calls for action, on the part of a sinner." My belief David, is that it is "God" who induces a sorrow that leads one to repentance, and it is He who empowers the turn or reformation. 2Co 7:10

"Samuel
I get you confused with Josef. I know one of you is SDA and the other is a JW."
Apparently you have me confused David. Or did you simply decide to bear false witness against me, on this an open forum? I explained earlier on this very blog, that I have no affiliation with any denominational religion. Do you have reason to believe that I have reason to lie to you, or any one else?

He Takes Away Sin

"You will need to confess your sins before God, again to discover what you have been missing. Thank you for your concern David, However thinking yourself to know what I need:o) is a waste of your time. Father has me covered, and it is He who works in me both to will, and to do, that which is pleasing in His sight. I trust Him, and the authority of His Son.

"Josef
I asked this, because it is such an easy way for God to prove to you, unconfessed sin is unforgiven sin. And yet for some reason, I find some folks are reluctant to spend a few minutes with God, to seek this Truth. And I can not figure out why. Is it fear? "
You've lost me David, What exactly are you referring to? And what does it have to do with what I've written?

He Takes Away Sin

Thank you Kathr, I appreciate your comment.

He Takes Away Sin

"Josef What do you think would happen if you confessed your sin, before God, again?" I have no idea David. However, as far as I am concerned, It would be an acknowledgement of unbelief. Either I believe Jesus took and purged my sin, or I don't. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

"Josef
Does your church teach the importance of confessing sin?"
I don't attend a "church" building. I have no part in any denominational religions. As far a confession is concerned, I confessed my Sin once when the Father brought me to His Christ. Upon confession Father delivered me from the power of darkness, and translated me into the kingdom of his dear Son. His Son then cleansed me of all unrighteousness. All praises due the Father and His Son

Church Leaders Getting Wealth

"one day all this will come crashing down around us, and it will be devistating to those who put their faith in this FALSE GOSPEL." Amen Kathr, so be it. The faith we are given to exercise should be reserve for our Savior, and all that He represents. Let us extend the love that He has shed abroad in us, towards the poor and needy amoung us. Come Lord Jesus

'A confession of sin is required, to utilize the Power in the Blood.
I can not argue the points you've made David. I understand His blood to represent the Atoning sacrifice He made for the benefit of His chosen. He was made to be sin, they we might be made the righteousness of "God" in Him. Made is the optimum word. He has done for the believer, that which could not have been done in our own strength, abilities, or force of will.

Church Leaders Getting Wealth

So why do many churches today concentrate on their members and leaders getting wealth? Not helping others? Their vision 'seems' to be "the great commission" and their focus 'seems' to be on filling their "churches", with the desire of building bigger and more magnificent church buildings. In addition some "pastors" seem to think that in order to complete their mission, and "God's calling on their lives", they need a private, fully equipped jet:o)

He Takes Away Sin

"What can the blood of Christ do for us, the animal sacrifice could not do?"
David, Remove sin. Thus no more sacrifices necessary. Jesus 'is' the restoration to divine favor. All praises are due the Father, through His Son. So be it

He Takes Away Sin

"but what does (Hebrews 10:4) mean when it says, Take Away sin?" Just what it says, no exposition necessary. Airo, a primary root, in the contexts of sin, means "to take up or away, to put away, or remove. It is a Present Active Participle in verb form. Jesus caused the sin of His chosen, to cease.

What Are Lords Commandments

You're welcome David. The reason I asked the question was because I knew some were confused concerning the laws that were "nailed to the cross", thinking that somehow the ten commandments were "done away with" when the new testament was initiated.

What Are Lords Commandments

David I know Moses replaced the tablets he broke, the ten commandments, in the presence of the Lord, however that was not my question. My question was concerning the law of Moses, written in the "book of the law", placed "in the side of the ark of the covenant", (Deu 31:26) and later written "in the presence of the children of Israel." Jos 8:32 The ten commandment were placed "in the ark". Deu 10:2 The LORD's commandments [mitsvah], and that which was referred to as the law of Moses [towrah], were separate.
