Loved Ones Are In Hell

What loving God would punish his creation for all of eternity? Which eternity?

As of this day, everyone who has died is asleep until both resurrections are fulfilled. At the first resurrection, upon the return of Jesus, the dead in Christ shall rise and... At the second resurrection, at the end of the thousand year reign of Christ, all the other dead shall rise and be judged from the book of life according to their works - some to everlasting life, some to everlasting death.

Blessed are those that rise in the first resurrection.

Predestined For Hell

There are two resurrections: the first at the soon to return of Jesus where the dead in Christ shall rise first and the living shall be caught up with the dead. The second resurrection is at the end of the thousand year reign of Christ where all the other dead from all of history shall rise and be judged from the Book of Life according to their works some to everlasting life, some to everlasting death. Blessed are the ones who rise in the first resurrection.

There are people who do God's will not knowing it's God's will.

Jesus Action Rewards

Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you, even as the green herb have I given you all things. Genesis 9:3

Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils, speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their conscience seared with a hot iron, forbidding to marry, AND COMMANDING TO ABSTAIN FROM MEATS, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth. For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving: for it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer. 1 Timothy 4:1-5

Predestined For Hell

The term "robot" was a metaphor.

God is looking for people having true love from their hearts to populate his coming kingdom. He is looking for people who wants to follow him. To repent on their decision.

JS1234 wrote: "If God is God, he is smart enough to get everybody saved if he wants to..."

All throughout history, God has given man many opportunities to bring man to him, but man has rejected God.

Predestined For Hell

JS1234 wrote: "God always get what he wants?"

Sure, if God created robots. Humans are not robots. As I said God doesn't want anyone to go to hell. 2 Peter 3:9

God is choosing people who do God's will, whether they believe in Jesus or not, to help populated God's new kingdom. They must choose from the heart whether to repent or not. It's up to the individual's choosing. God gave mankind many opportunities in history to repent. God has suffered long enough and by the way the world is heading it won't be too much longer when God will intervene by bringing his son back.

Predestined For Hell

No one is pre-destined to go to hell. God doesn't want anyone to go to hell. Man has free will and decides himself if he goes to heaven or hell. Many, including those who don't know Christ or God, will have eternal life who will be judged from the book of life - according to their works.

The bible tells of two resurrections: one for the christians and one for all others.

Explain Matthew 6:1-2

Cluny, instead of telling someone they are wrong, why don't you explain WHY?

Explain Matthew 6:1-2

Tell me, cluny, how did you know that you were a sinner?

Explain Matthew 6:1-2

Before one is baptized, one must repent of their sins. Before one can repent of their sins, one must have knowledge that they are sinners. And that comes from the hearing of God's word. Babies and infants have no knowledge or understanding of God, Jesus, salvation, repenting, the gospel, sinning, etc. How can an infant repent if he does not have knowledge or understanding?

Explain Matthew 6:1-2

The OT was more of a physical nature. The NT is more spiritual nature. Same laws, different use.

Case in point: In the OT, it was a sin to physically murder someone, but in the NT even if you THINK of murdering someone it's a sin.

As for faith and works: faith without works is dead faith.

All laws are still given for it is written "...not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the Law until all is accomplished." Remember that the NT was not written when Jesus and the apostles were here. All scripture is God breathed.
---
Love is found even in those who don't believe in Christ.

Once saved always saved is a false doctrine for it is written that in the end days many shall fall away from t he faith.

kathr wrote: "...Gospel of the Grace of God..."

There is only one meaning of "gospel" and that means the good new about the soon to come Kingdom of God. Nothing more. Nothing less. The gospel IS the Kingdom of God.

Grace/mercy is what God showed upon his creation. God showed his mercy throughout the entire bible. The same grace/mercy that a parent sometimes shows upon the child.

Explain Matthew 6:1-2

There are two resurrections.

The first is upon the return of Jesus when the dead in Christ shall rise and the living in Christ shall be caught up with the dead.

The second resurrection is at the end of the thousand year reign of Christ when all the other dead shall rise and be judged from the book of life ACCORDING TO THEIR WORKS.

Christian Symbolism Matrix

There are christian and santanic symbolism in everything we read, see, hear, smell, taste, and feel - subtle they may be. Movies and novels may seem to be right biblically, but Satan has a way to turn something that looks good into something evil. Timothy says something to the affect do not give heed to these movies or novels (actually he states fables, but that's what they are) that questions sound doctrine, rather than godly edifying which is in faith.

Baptism In The Epistles

cluny,

The word "lord" was/is a title to someone having authority. In the OT, they said, "Lord God." They also acknowledged kings and other people having authority as "Lord." In the NT, the word "Lord" is a title used for God and for Jesus, but they were two different entities. Scriptures also separated God and Jesus as God the Father and Jesus the Son. The son cannot be the father and the father cannot be the son. God's "word" became flesh not God became flesh. It's the same as an earthly father teaching his son his words and training the son in the way he should go. Jesus, and the christians, are heirs to the coming kingdom. God cannot be a heir to himself.

Baptism Spiritual Effects

kathr wrote: "Using the Word of God in forcing verses here and there to try to fit this foul doctrine.."

It sounds like all denominational "churches" for each "church" places a burden on each of their members which include each denomination's rituals, traditions, ways of living and interpretations of the bible.

Christians today make living a christian lifestyle complicated. Can a person be a christian without being a member of a denominational "church?"

Love, as in the verb form and from the heart, is the ultimate commandment spoken of by Jesus. Unfortunately, love has practically evaporated form the face of this world.

Baptism Spiritual Effects

Why even study the scriptures if God's word and his laws change all the time?

Chria, please read the entire chapter of Hebrews7. Read it slowly.

Correct Bible Interpretation

The Fourth Commandment begins with the word "Remember."

This tells that this commandment was given BEFORE the Ten Commandments was given by Moses. Which was given on the seventh day of creation.

Baptism In The Epistles

Cluny, no contradiction. There are verses that are very explicit, like quotes, and other verse that are metaphors - and the meaning of words. The meaning of metaphors are completely different today than it was two thousand years ago. Be careful of what the vast majority of christians believe.

There are other verses that show Jesus in NOT God:

John 8:42

As for which Mary, read the entire chapter of John 20. It tells of which Mary. You always ask for BCV, but it seems you always take it out of context.

Baptism Spiritual Effects

kathr wrote: "I live in the NT under a totally different Covenant...l"

All of scripture is relevant. God's laws never change. God's word never changes. When Jesus and the apostles were teaching, from what scriptures were they teaching from since the NT was not written yet. The difference between the OT and the NT is that the OT was more of a physical nature, but the NT is of a spiritual nature. Same laws different use.

For instance, in the OT if a person murdered someone, that was a sin. In the NT, even if you THINK about murdering someone it's a sin. That's coming from the heart.

God is looking within the heart of man to populate the soon-to-come kingdom of God.

Correct Bible Interpretation

Why do you people make living a christian lifestyle so complicated?

LOVE, as in the verb form from the heart, is the ultimate commandment spoken of by Jesus. The entire bible is full of examples of HOW to love one another and HOW to love God.

Denominational "churches" put a heavy burden unto its members with their own rituals, traditions, ways of living and interpretations of the bible. You people seem to nitpick about what is right.

Here's an example of interpretation: One person would say "I love helping people" while another would say "I love killing people."
