How To Get Saved

When it comes to salvation, Christ has done it all for you. There is nothing else that needs to be added to him.
It's common for churches to wrongly teach a performance membership ritual in order to be counted saved They teach it is a custom or tradition required by God.
At one time circumcision was the token of entry into Gods people. But Paul says that Christ circumcised you without hands from the body of your sins (Col 2:11).
Now people are confused about water baptism in order to be saved.
Paul makes it clear our baptism as well as our resurrection is through the faith of the operation of God (Col 2:12). We are baptized into Christs death, not a pool of water, in order to be saved (Rom 6:1-3).

Christ sent his disciples preaching the kingdom gospel (Luke 9:1-6)
The twelve didn't understand the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ. They were preaching the gospel of the kingdom.
Matt 10:5-6 Jesus sends his disciples to avoid Gentiles and preach to Israel. (Matt 10:7)
This was known as the kingdom gospel (Mark 1:14-15). later Jesus first mentioned his death
If you are saved it's because of Paul's gospel 1 Cor 15:1-4
Peter, James and John either didn't understand as Peter said or didn't know Paul's gospel
The church at Jerusalem had twelve tribes, the church at Antioch didn't

Body of Christ, elementary??
Without Christ giving his body to die for my sins and raising his body from the dead, I could not be saved.
This salvation is not offered to me through a chosen nation, an anointed priest, or a special covenant. According to the great mystery of Christ, this salvation is possible because I am made a member of his body. (Eph 3:6)
Every one who is saved today is a member of the body of Christ, which is now called the church. (Eph 1:22-23)
I am saved by the body of Christ. Salvation is not found outside the body of Christ. It is impossible to be saved today without being in the body of Christ.
(1 Cor 12:12-13)

James never speaks of the BoC, the Church, or the power of the Resurrection, as Paul writes. Its Jewish and hard for most because they want this letter and the other little letters following it to be Church letters to make their doctrine fit.
Remember who wrote it, to whom was it written, why it was written.
James 1:1"to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad, greeting." So we know its written to Jews. Peter opens his little epistle, ".to those scattered," which means he, was writing to the Jews of the dispersion. (Acts 8:1)

In his earthly ministry Jesus was a minister of the circumcision (Rom 15:8). He confined his ministry to the lost sheep of the house of Israel (Mat 10:5-6). He gave the keys of the kingdom to a remnant of Israel that believed he was the Messiah (Luke 12:32, Mat 19:28).
Being one of Jesus disciples, James picks up where Jesus left off in his ministry to Israel. It is not surprising to find James teaching Jesus message of the law and the prophets to the remnant twelve tribes.

How To Get Saved

Grace is a gift received but not deserved. when we put our faith in what Christ did on the cross by His grace then we are saved from the wrath of God (Eph 2:8). We are justified freely by the redemption in Christ Jesus (Rom 3:24).
If we put our faith in the Lord Jesus and his propitiation on the cross, we can stand before God knowing Jesus provided complete payment of our sins. Therefore we are not saved by our actions or performance, because we are guilty of Gods righteous standard, instead we are saved by what Christ did and performed on our behalf (Eph 2:9, Titus 3:5).
For all have sinned... Roms 3:23
Yet we have been given opportunity to participate in the glory of God through trust in the gospel of Christ (Rom 1:16).

Discovering the audience of a book of the Bible is chiefly important in rightly dividing the word of truth.
Without right division you wont make it past the first verse of the book. James 1:1 is a clear and inspired
It should be clear that the twelve tribes refers to the nation Israel (Gen 49:28, Deut 1:23, Exo 28:21, Josh 3:12).
Despite simple cross references, many say James wrote to Jew and Gentile.
Every Bible student today worth his salt understands Pauls doctrine of a Gentile inclusive church: Col 1:11 Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all.
Gal. 2:7-9 is very clear

James clearly states that he writes to the twelve tribes and my brethren, Israelites, scattered by the persecution of unbelieving Israel.
Writing to the twelve tribes, James writes concerning the faith and hope of Israel. During this time the gospel of the kingdom was preached by Peter proclaiming the last days before Christs return (Acts 2:16-17, 3:19-21).
Instead of having hope based on the preaching of the cross, Israels hope was in the salvation offered by the coming Holy One and promised kingdom (Luke 1:68-75). It's this information Peter presented for acceptance by faith.(Acts 2:36)
Peter called Israel to repent and perform works necessary to exhibit their repentance according to what Jesus had taught.

How To Get Saved

When you see the need for salvation and, read the gospel of the grace of God in your Bible in Rom 3:19-26, 1 Cor 15:1-4, or Titus 3:3-7.
Then trust and believe that Jesus Christ, God manifest in the flesh, is able to perform that which he promised for you, eternal life. Trust in him, as a life preserver on judgment day.
Your faith is rewarded by eternal life
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Rom 6:23

Although works could never in themselves save sinful humanity, they were required under the law for the obedience of faith. Since James faith was in the obedience of the law according to the commands of the Messiah, then a faith in works without works would be vain.
Works were needed for justification before the preaching of Jesus Christ according to the revelation of the mystery.

Legalism is when salvation requires works as James says
Grace is when salvation is without your works Eph 2:8-9, Rom 4:5, 11:6
Legalism is when your standing/identity is determined by behavior
Grace is when your standing/identity is determined by sound doctrine by faith
Legalism is easy because someone else tells you how to live, hard because you are not changed
Grace is easy because the work has been done in Christ, hard because it requires study

Faith Without Works Dead

FROM ANOTHER BLOG
//I am grieved by how haz and kathr are treating each other on these blogs..
I'm praying that they be reconciled and freed of their burden of mutual hatred..
All who have started doing so join me in this intention.//

Faith Without Works Dead

James 2:24 and Romans 4:5
are theological opposites. Many believe they mean the same thing, black is white, up is down.
The theological opposite of justification by faith and works is justification by faith without works, just as the verses suggest. The plain reading of these two verses present a seemingly irreconcilable contradiction unless we understand right division that James spoke to the twelve tribes (James 1)
Paul speaks to the Church (boC) a new creature, neither jew or gentile

Citing James 2:14-26, many justify a performance-based faith.
In order for faith to be dead the substance of their faith must be inactive. That is, if our faith is in Christs work on the cross, a dead faith would be like preaching a dead Jesus who couldn't perform what he promised (Romans 4:19-21).
Faith in the cross of Christ means full assurance of salvation because God is able to perform that which we could not, a proper atonement of our sins.
Our faith can only be dead if the work of Christ was insufficient.
Don't be robbed of God's grace by lack of right division.
James taught faith that required works in order to be perfect, we are given a perfect position by our faith in Christ alone. (2 Cor 5:21, Phil 3:12)

Works Of The Law

The Bible is clear, Jesus was born under the OT.
when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law Gal 4:4
This explains why, after he was born, he was circumcised and sacrifices were offered according to the law (Luke 2:21-24).
During his life on earth, Jesus also ministered under the OT The scripture is just as clear about this
For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth. Heb 9:17
Since a testament is of force only after men are dead, then the NT could not begin until after the death of Jesus. Jesus died in the very end of his earthly ministry as recorded in Matt 27:50, Mark 15:37, Luke 23:46, and John 19:30.

Two Prophets Of Revelation

Jesus said in Luke He would die and rise again.
Luke 18:34 And they understood none of these things: and this saying was hid from them, neither knew they the things which were spoken. (Still a mystery)
OT Saints had no clue of the mystery, as Peter proved trying to prevent it.
Also they were called Christian at Antioch and not Jerusalem for a reason.
Try studying with right division.

Two Prophets Of Revelation

It isn't true that everyone in the OT was looking forward to the cross, because no one knew about it. They can't look forward to what they did not know.
Moses did not even know Gods name (Exo 3:13).
Zachariah, said Christ had come to deliver the nation out of the hands of our enemies and never once mentions the cross (Luke 1:71-74).
Peter took it as bad news when Jesus told him plainly he would die.(Matt 16)
Peter was not looking forward to the cross, he was trying to prevent it! If Peter were looking forward to the cross shouldnt he have rejoiced in the cross like Paull?

Not A Church Member

Church attendance isn't an necessity for salvation.
When we trust in the gospel and are saved, we are placed into the boC, which is the church (1 Cor 12:13, Col 1:24).
We are the church members of the church, the boC, having a special standing distinct from the other churches. We don't have to go to a temple to worship God because we are the temple.
The Bible says that he purchased YOU with a price, and that YOU are the temple of the Holy Ghost (1 Cor 6:19-20). Wherever you are, the church is. That is why we are to glorify God in our body because God dwells in us, and so within us there is a church service happening 24 hours a day! (Col 1:25, 1 Cor 3:16, Eph 3:17)

Should We Ask God For Signs

Paul says
the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom 1 Cor 1:22
The Body of Christ Does Not require a sign
In the body of Christ, there is neither Jew nor Greek (Col 3:11, Gal 3:28). We are not Jews, we do not require a sign.
Everything we need to know for operation as the church has been revealed in the revelation of the mystery of Christ, not in signs in the stars.
Our salvation is not something that comes in the end times, but something that has already come! It is here now (Rom 5:11, 2 Cor 6:2)!
For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men Titus 2:11
